In achieving valid results in this study, the researcher conducted a member check which aims to find out how far the data obtained with what is given by the data giver so that it will be more credible or trusted. In this study, researchers found that the three subjects had the same demands when becoming single parent mothers. Abstract

Semakin tinggi dukungan keluarga maka semakin rendah tingkat kecemasan. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah dukungan keluarga maka semakin tinggi tingkat kecemasan. Interpersonal communication is an individual's ability to listen, understand others, express oneself, and the willingness to communicate honestly. This research aims to examine the relationship between interpersonal communication and marital satisfaction in rural families, utilizing a quantitative research method. Questionnaires were distributed through social media platforms to married families in Lempong Village, Karanganyar, Central Java. Data analysis involved statistical testsfor assumptions, correlation, and effective contribution. The research aimed to understand the relationship between interpersonal communication and marital satisfaction in families living in rural areas. The research findings revealed a correlation coefficient (r) of -0.421 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a negative relationship between interpersonal communication and marital satisfaction in rural families. The effective contribution of interpersonal communication to marital satisfaction was 17.7%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between Work-Family Conflict (WFC) and marital satisfaction among sandwich generation women. The participants consisted of 251 women aged 30–50 years in Indonesia, with data collected through an online questionnaire. The instruments used were the Work-Family Conflict Scale (WFCS) developed by Carlson, Kacmar, and Williams (2000), which includes three aspects: time-based conflict, strain-based conflict, and behavior-based conflict, and the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale (EMS) developed by Olson and Fowers (1993), which includes ten aspects of marital satisfaction. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics, normality and linearity tests, and Spearman’s rho correlation. The results indicated no significant relationship between work-family conflict and marital satisfaction (r = 0.007, p = 0.457). The average score of work-family conflict was 64.90 (SD = 14.176) and was classified in the moderate category, while the average score of marital satisfaction was 37.33 (SD = 12.239), which was also in the moderate category, indicating that the respondents had work-family conflict and marital satisfaction levels in the moderate category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between marital commitment and marital satisfaction among young to middle-aged adults in interethnic marriages. The study involved 124 participants who had been married to partners of different ethnic backgrounds for at least two years and were aged between 25 and 60 years. This research used a quantitative correlational method with data collected through Likert-scale instruments, namely the Marital Components of Commitment (MCC) to measure marital commitment and the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale (EMS) to measure marital satisfaction. Descriptive analysis showed that the mean score of marital commitment was 187.31 and marital satisfaction was 69.15, both categorized as moderate. The Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis resulted in r = 0.499 with a significance level of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant positive relationship between marital commitment and marital satisfaction. This finding suggests that the higher the marital commitment, the higher the marital satisfaction experienced by individuals. The results imply the importance of fostering commitment to maintain stability and happiness in interethnic marriages

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional attachment and digital hoarding among young adults following a romantic breakup. The research involved 231 participants and employed a correlational design. Data were collected using Likert-type instruments, namely the Emotional Attachment Scale (EAS) and the Digital Hoarding Questionnaire. Descriptive analysis showed that the mean level of emotional attachment among participants was in the moderate category, as was the level of digital hoarding. Statistical analysis using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.374 with a significance level of (p<0,05) indicating a significant positive relationship between emotional attachment and digital hoarding. These findings suggest that individuals with stronger emotional attachment to digital memories tend to exhibit higher levels of digital hoarding behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Work–Family Conflict and Couple Burnout in married, working Generation Z women. The phenomenon of conflict between work demands and family responsibilities is increasingly experienced by young women in the modern era, which potentially decreases the quality of the marital relationship and emotional well-being. This research used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The research subjects consisted of 357 married, working Generation Z women, obtained through a purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were the Work–Family Conflict scale (21 items; \alpha = 0.960) and the Couple Burnout scale (18 items; \alpha = 0.967). The normality test results showed that the data was not normally distributed (Kolmogorov–Smirnov p = 0.000), so the analysis was conducted using the non-parametric Spearman correlation. The results showed a very significant positive relationship between Work–Family Conflict and Couple Burnout with a correlation coefficient of \rho = 0.788 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). The mean scores for Work–Family Conflict were 44.13 and for Couple Burnout were 54.64, both falling into the moderate category. This indicates that the higher the level of conflict between work and family, the higher the level of emotional exhaustion in the couple's relationship. These findings support the role conflict theory, which explains that work pressure can negatively impact the well-being of the marital relationship. This study emphasizes the importance of maintaining work–life balance and social support for Generation Z women to prevent couple burnout and maintain household harmony.
