Abstract

Hulu Sungai Utara Regency has a tourism mainstay of the province, swamp buffalo, which has attracted many national and international tourists. As one of the great tourist magnets, swamp buffalo tourism is not yet supported by other attractions, so tourists tend to only visit one object and leave immediately. Hulu Sungai Utara Regency has other potential tourism objects, but with a wide landscape and not optimal tourism conditions, it is necessary to plan tourism routes with daily reach. This research uses quantitative methodology with network analysis and application assistance of ArcGIS, finding the optimum route as the basic daily reach of travel. As a result, analysis of the optimum route selection results in the main tourist area as a tour package from a collection of all tourist themes (natural, religious, historical, cultural and shopping) that can be reached by a tour package for 2 days, while tourism with a natural theme can be taken 1 day by 3 package options, as well as religious tourism that can be reached within 1 day

Abstract

Abstract

Recently, the carrying capacity and carrying capacity of the environment (DDDTL) are currently being discussed. The high population growth which results in the development rate greatly influences environmental sustainability. Increased population growth causes the need for space for built-in land such as housing to also increase. Of course, once the land is built, it will be accompanied by an increase in natural resource needs such as air. DDDTL is an alarm to wake up whether the resource capacity is available or not to support the large number of people in an area. This is at the same time to measure the limits of the existing space to keep it under control. The qualitative analysis method with the literature review approach was chosen to examine in this study. There are several factors that can influence or not DDDT for agricultural land in an area. DDDT agricultural land that is developed by the area of harvested land, population, food production and minimum physical consumption. Meanwhile, water DDDT is influenced by the average rainfall, population, water needs per person, and area. Keywords: DDDTL, DDDT Agricultural Land and DDDT Water

Abstract

Spent Bleaching Earth (SBE) is one of the problems that triggers soil damage due to its fairly common use but minimal utilization of this waste. SBE is waste resulting from Crude Palm Oil (CPO) filtering. CPO during initial processing has a color that tends to be dark, so it requires bleaching powder (Fresh Spent Bleaching Earth) to filter the oil. The remainder of this filtering is known as SBE. If this waste is allowed to accumulate for too long, it has the potential to cause damage to the soil and the surrounding environment, even land fires due to the oil content in it. Therefore, in the form of utilizing and reducing environmentally damaging waste, innovation is needed, such as using this waste into the concrete mix. The process of making this concrete will be the same as concrete in general but using a different mix so that this waste can be optimally utilized. Based on the test results obtained, SBE has the potential to be one of the recommendations for concrete mixtures that are applied to seawater because the compressive strength increases as the concrete ages by 36.2% at 28 days. Whereas in fresh water the compressive strength value tends to decrease by 15.9%. So based on testing, SBE is more suitable for use in seawater environments than freshwater.   Keywords: Waste Concrete, Compressive Strength, Palm Processed Oil, Spent Bleaching Earth

Abstract

Environmental law enforcement in Indonesia is grounded in a strong normative framework through Law No. 32 of 2009 on Environmental Protection and Management (UUPPLH). However, its effectiveness remains constrained by challenges in implementation. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of environmental law enforcement in Indonesia by examining the gap between legal norms and practice, institutional barriers, and potential innovations to enhance legal effectiveness. Employing a qualitative approach with a normative juridical method, the research draws on primary and secondary legal materials, including legislation, court decisions, and official environmental reports. The findings reveal that most environmental violations are still resolved through administrative sanctions, reflecting limitations in evidence, interagency coordination, and monitoring capacity. Nevertheless, reform efforts toward data-driven and transparent supervision have begun through initiatives such as the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS), Online Single Submission (OSS), and regional environmental incentive programs like PROPER. In conclusion, strengthening environmental law enforcement in Indonesia requires cross-sectoral collaboration and a paradigm shift from a punitive to a collaborative and adaptive approach to achieve ecologically just environmental governance.
