Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the image of consumer perceptions of Product Quality as a consideration in buying the product. The analysis is based on 9 dimensions of Performance, Features, Confromance, Durability, Reliability, Serviceability, Aesthetic, Perceived Quality and especially observe the effect of Environmental Friendly dimension to perception and consumer consideration in buying product.Data processing was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 18. The sampling technique that used is non-probability sampling with Convenience Sampling type. The number of sample in this research is 154. The results of this study indicate the perception of the majority of respondents of each characteristic that considers the dimensions of the quality of Environmental Friendly products (environmentally friendly). Most of the respondents had an awareness of environmental concerns that were being applied by starting to consider using environmentally friendly products. But that does not mean the other eight dimensions are not considered, but the product with the Environmental Friendly quality dimension gets a special value for the respondent's perception when considering buying a product.

Abstract

With the increase of complexity in the business development, companies are required to survive and win the existing competition in business. Working with other companies is one way that companies can take. The cooperative relationship between buyers and suppliers is one example of the relationship that can arise in the business world. There are several factors that can affect buyer-supplier relationship, such as trust, commitment, and satisfaction. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of trust, commitment, economic satisfaction, and non-economic satisfaction towards buyer-supplier relationship in Surabaya. This research uses quantitative approach by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method through Amos program. The data used in this study is the primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires. The samples of this study were selected using non-probability sampling technique, the target population characteristics are those who work in companies domiciled in Surabaya and work in the purchasing departmentor in some companies called procurementand have a working experience in that section for ± 1 year. The number of samples used were 120 samples. The results of this study indicate that trust, commitment, economic satisfaction, and non-economic satisfaction have positive relation in buyer-supplier relationship in Surabaya.

Abstract

Application of inventory control is aimed support bakery owner’s decision making in order to obtain optimum inventory and optimum production quantity in the lO best-selling products, namely Burger Buns Milk, Soft Pretzel Regular, Soft roll Cranberry, Walnut cranberry, Baguette Viennoise, Hot Dogs Charcoal, Olive focaccia, Rectangular multigrain. Application of inventory control was necessary because the bakery didn’t get the maximum profit and even suffer losses owing can’t determine the optimum inventory levels at the fourth weeks on December 2Ol3 until 2Ol6. In addition, the products are not sold until 2O:OO will also be sold at the residual value or scrap value of 5O% of the sale price initially. The implementation uses the method of calculation of Newsboy Problem or Single Period Problem. The calculations begin from determining the probability sold and cumulative probability. Thereafter, the method applied newsboy problem with the known unit cost, scrap value, and selling price. After getting what the optimal production quantity, expected profit is calculated by using the quantity of information production, sales quantity, scrap value, selling price and unit cost. After getting the calculation using the Newsboy Problem method, it performed the optimal production quantity, optimal inventory levels and expected maximum profit obtained the bakery at the fourth weeks in December when using the method of Newsboy Problem.

Abstract

This report aims to describe a quality control by using FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method to identify and prevent errors that arise in the process of delivery of goods in PT. Asia Mandiri Lines. FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) is used as a guide for quality control in the company. Activities that are often done during field work practice is making a receipt letter for customers who want to send goods through PT. Asia Mandiri Lines. During the practical work in the administrative section, especially the handling of the mail and receipt of goods, found some problems that cause complaints from customers. It shows that the quality of freight service in PT. Asia Mandiri Lines should be fixed. Therefore, based on the results of the discussion of Field Work Report, I use FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method to help PT. Asia Mandiri Lines in reducing e rors, providing solutions for errors that occur, and improve the quality of the company in the process of delivery of goods.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore both the cognitive and affective images and examine the effects of destination image through both aspects on satisfaction levels and tourist loyalty. The data used in this study comes from primary data, namely data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. This measurement uses the interval measurement level, which is a measurement that has the same distance and clear difference. This study uses a quantitative approach through statistical testing. Tests conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of Analysis of Moment Structured (AMOS 16). The results showed that the cognitive image have positive significant effect to affective image. Cognitive image has a significant positive effect on tourist satisfaction. Affective image has a positive effect on tourist satisfaction. While cognitive image, affective image, and tourist satisfaction does not affect the tourist loyalty.

Abstract

Based on the observation, it can be seen that the problem being faced by CV. Delima is the number of defective products that were produced during the production process of marie wijen Sriti in August 2017 has 13.53% of defective products, while the company has a defective tolerance limit of 10%. And the absence of clear working standards that cause the range of disability too far. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the use of PDCA quality control with the seven tools can minimize the production defects in the CV. Delima.Quality control analysis uses PDCA with seventools, capability process, and FMEA. The tools will be used to find the production process error and also fix it so that the defect can decrease at CV. Delima. The results of capability process analysis show that the production process run by CV. Delima is not good and also the control chart shows that the company's production activities are out of control. Can be seen on the control chart there are several points that exceeds the upper and lower limits. From the analysis of cause-effect diagrams, it can be seen that the factors causing defects in products come from human factors, materials, methods, and machinery so that companies can take corrective action to overcome these problems. The results showed that the problem of production process in CV. Delima can be repaired and can minimize the production defects by using PDCA approach with seven tools tool. In addition, the percentage of marie wijen Sriti's production defects percentage decreased by 6.47%.

Abstract

The step of production process at CV. Pakis Karunia in Gresik, based on the type and amount of disability during the paper bag production process the company has experienced losses from the amount of production per month. Therefore, this study can be used to know implementation of quality control using seven tools. Analysis of quality control using seven tools such as check sheet, histograms, pareto diagrams, cause-effect diagrams, and control diagrams. The tools will be implemented into the CV. Pakis Karunia in Gresik. The results of histogram showing proportion defect in many variants. Fromcause-effect diagram the analysis, it can be seen the factors that cause defects in products derived from materials, machinery, human, work methods and environment, so that company can take corrective action to overcome it. From the analysis of the map control indicates that production is outside of the limits of control.

Abstract

Abstract - This study aims to determine the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) simultaneously and partially on employee performance of PT Suling Mas Tri Tunggal Abadi. This research uses a quantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis method. The samples used are employees who have subordinates such as managers and supervisors. The number of samples that used in this study were 55 employees. The results showed that there is a strong relationship between the application of TQM with employee performance in PT. Suling Mas Tri Tunggal Abadi. Total Quality Management (TQM) proved to affect the employees simultaneously and partially on the PT. Suling Mas Tri Tunggal Abadi.

Abstract

Flexibility is an ability to change or act toward uncertain environment that affects to time, power, cost or performance. As one of dimension of supply chain flexibility, distribution flexibility is the ability to supply distribution in wide or intensive range. Distribution flexibility is involve physical distribution flexibility, management of demand flexibility and coordination flexibility. This research was conducted at UD Fadjar Stationary, Surabaya. UD Fadjar Stationary is retail and distributor that sells stationary and gift products.The objectives of this research are to investigate the process of gaining in deep knowledge about distribution flexibility and seeking of how UD Fadjar Stationary create and apply the strategy of distribution flexibility. This researchused explorative method by conducting an interview with the owner of UD Fadjar Stationary. From the result of this research is shown that the distribution flexibility at UD Fadjar Stationary was good enough. Even though, physical distribution flexibility and coordination flexibility were superior rather than management of demand flexibility.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the difference of perception of logistic service quality level and the influence of logistic service quality to customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in Lotte Wholesale Waru and Lotte Wholesale Mastrip. To measure customer satisfaction and customer loyalty then used Logistic Service Quality which measured by 2 dimension that is Logistic Service Quality Operational and Logistic Service Quality Relational. In this causal research used quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 200 respondents divided by 100 respondents from Lotte Wholesale Waru and 100 Respondents from Lotte Wholesale Mastrip who is a customer in Lotte Wholesale Waru and Lotte Wholesale Mastrip. Data analysis technique used is anova test and multiple linear regression analysis.The result of the anova test shows that there is different perception of logistic service quality level at Lotte Wholesale Waru and Lotte Wholesale Mastrip, besides the result of research using multiple linear regression analysis is variable Logistic Service Quality have positive linear influence to Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty.
