Abstract

Kata Kunci : Harga, Emas, Minyak, Inflasi, Pengangguran ABSTRACT  Inflation can cause a huge social gap among the society. Therefore, there should be an inquiry for the inflation indicators that can give a signal and insights to the policy maker and to the public at  large. Oloko et.al (2021) has found that Gold price and inflation rate is cointegrated to the exchange rate that fluctuate in a controlled fluctuation rather than exchanges that is pegged strictly or fluctuates freely. Besides that, the relationship between unemployment and inflation rate is explained by the philips curve, but recently a research conducted by Zayed (2018) has found that the situation which occurs in the Philipines are quite different than what is explained by the philip's curve. Furthermore, Goh et.al (2022) found that the relationship between oil price and inflation rate in Indonesia are not linier both unidirectional or reverse. This article has found a different results than the results that come from Goh (2022) and Zayed (2018), unemployment rate and oil prices did not have a significant influences towards the inflation rate. However, in line with Oloko findings in 2021, the results of data processing from this research has successfully concluded a significant relationship between gold price and inflation rate fluctuation at a confidence interval below 10%, which is an interval that is still accepted on social research.  Keyword : Prices, Gold, Oil, Inflation, Unemployment

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Earning Per Share (EPS) and Price to Book Value (PBV) on the stock price of PT. Hero Supermarket, Tbk during the 2012–2023 period. A quantitative approach using multiple linier regression was employed. The partial test results show that EPS has a positive and significant effect on stock price, with a significance value of 0.039 (< 0.05) and a t-value of 2.413 (> t-table 2.262). PBV also has a positive and significant effect, with a significance value of 0.015 (< 0.05) and a t-value of 2.993 (> t-table 2.262). Simultaneously, EPS and PBV significantly affect stock prices, indicated by a significance value of 0.012 (< 0.05) and an F-value of 7.593 (> F-table 4.10). The model explains 62.8% of the variation in stock price (Adjusted R² = 0.628). These findings reinforce the fundamental theory that financial performance and market valuation together play a critical role in determining stock prices, particularly in the retail sector.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Total Asset Turn Over (TATO) and Sales Growth on Return on Assets (ROA) at PT Unilever Tbk during the 2012–2024 period. ROA is used as an indicator of profitability, TATO reflects asset utilization efficiency, while sales growth indicates the company’s revenue performance over time. The research method employed is a quantitative approach using secondary data from the company’s annual financial reports. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that TATO has no significant effect on ROA, while sales growth has a significant effect on ROA. Simultaneously, both TATO and sales growth influence ROA. These findings suggest that sales growth plays a crucial role in improving profitability, while asset efficiency alone is not sufficient without adequate sales performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and complaint handling on customer retention from the perspective of credit intermediation in the Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) product at BRI Unit Parung Bogor. Customer retention in this research reflects the continuity of financing relationships, the tendency to apply for repeated financing, and the stability of customers in maintaining their credit commitments—all of which are closely related to the effectiveness of credit intermediation at the unit level. This study employed a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to KUR customers and analyzing the data using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer retention, and complaint handling likewise shows a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, service quality and complaint handling significantly influence customer retention, as evidenced by an F-value of 72.584 with a significance level of 0.000. This demonstrates that both variables collectively contribute strongly to increasing customer retention in KUR financing. High customer retention directly enhances the effectiveness of credit intermediation by improving repayment smoothness, reducing the risk of non-performing loans, and increasing the likelihood of customers reusing financing services. These findings emphasize that improving service quality and enhancing the professionalism of complaint handling are crucial strategies for BRI Unit Parung Bogor in strengthening customer retention and supporting sustainable credit intermediation within the microfinance sector.
