Abstract

This article provides an overview of several aspects related to websites, which include: first, understanding the website; second, the criteria for a good and quality website; third; the benefits of the website for educational institutions; fourth, a web-based school information system; fifth, school web development in learning activities; and sixth, the basic principles of school web management. This study was conducted using the library method, where the author collects various materials such as books and scientific articles, which are further elaborated to obtain a broader and deeper understanding of the use of websites in school management. The results of the study show that: first, it is a very complex device because it combines various domains through the internet network, resulting in complex data in the form of text, images, video, audio, and animation. Second, a good school website must meet the following criteria: easy, navigation structure, graphic design, content, compatible, fast, functional, accessible to everyone, and interactive. Third, the school website is an important tool in school management, not only internally but also externally. Fourth, the impact of IT advances has reached various areas of life, so schools should have web-based information systems. Fifth, the school web must be developed in the school's main business domain, namely education and learning. Sixth, to ensure the occurrence of web-based school management, the basic principles of school web management must be carried out properly. Keywords: School Management, ICT, Website, Quality

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran tentang: 1) Penerapan tata tertib sekolah di SMA Negeri 1 Konawe; 2) Kedisiplinan siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Konawe; 3) Strategi penerapan tata tertib sekolah dalam rangka membangun disiplin siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Konawe. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitrian kualitatif-deskriptif, yang dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, pengamatan, dan telaah dokumen. Analisis data melalui tahap reduksi, display, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Penerapan tata tertib sekolah merupakan langkah strategis yang diambil sebagai panduan warga sekolah dalam berperilaku di lingkungan sekolah; 2) Kedisiplinan siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Konawe menunjukkan kecenderungan yang bervariasi, disebabkan oleh kondisi lingkungan sekolah dan variasi latar belakang siswa; 3) Strategi penerapan tata tertib sekolah dilakukan dengan sosialisasi pada orang tua murid dan masyarakat, melibatkan organisasi siswa intra sekolah (OSIS), gerakan pramuka, serta menggiatkan perkumpulan olah raga siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak            Penggunaan website dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan menjadi tuntutan setiap satuan pendidikan. Tidak hanya dalam rangka merespons kebijakan nasional tentang ICT, tetapi secara substantif berkaitan dengan kebutuhan lalu lintas informasi, baik intenal maupun eksternal lembaga. Praktik ini mesti dapat diturunkan dalam bisnis utama sekolah, yakni proses pembelajaran. Guru masa kini dituntut untuk dapat memanfaatkan website sekolah untuk kepentingan pembelajaran. Juga melakukan inovasi-inovasi pembelajaran berbasis web.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Teknologi Informasi, Komunikasi, Website Abstract            The use of the website in the implementation of education to the demands of each educational unit. Not only in response to the national policy on ICT, but substantively related to information traffic needs, both intenal and external agencies. This practice should be derived in the primary business of the school, the learning process. Today's teachers are required to be able to use the school's website for learning purposes.
