Abstract

Abstrak            Mengidentifikasi orang Tolaki sebagai orang Islam memiliki dasar yang sangat kuat. Tidak hanya karena mayoritas dari etnik ini memeluk Islam, tetapi dari segi kesejarahan, pertemuan Orang Tolaki dengan Islam melampaui masa pertemuan dengan agama-agama lain yang diakui hari secara nasional. Deviasi sejarah memang tidak dapat dihindarkan, bahwa akhirnya orang Tolaki akhirnya melakukan konversi agama akibat zending pada zaman kolonial Belanda, maupun saat ini dengan berbagai motif. Akan tetapi stigma bahwa orang Tolaki adalah pemeluk Islam tetaplah kuat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini melakukan kajian pada beberapa tinjauan: 1) pergulatan orang Tolaki dalam mendekati Al Qur'an; 2) Tradisi Islam yang hidup dalam Masyarakat Tolaki; 3) menjaga tradisi Islam melalui pembelajaran Al Qur'an. Kelurahan Bungguosu menjadi sorotan dalam artikel ini disebabkan geliat yang sangat kuat dalam menggerakkan kegiatan pembelajaran Al Qur'an yang menyatu dengan tradisi lokal. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) pergulatan orang Tolaki dalam mendekati Al Qur'an membentang masa yang cukup panjang, sejak awal perjumpaan dengan Islam, kemudian dinamika berubah ketika jaman kemerdekaan, orde lama, orde baru; dan era reformasi hingga kini. 2) Tradisi Islam yang hidup pada masyarakat Tolaki cukup kaya, merupakan hasil perjumpaan ajaran Islam dengan tradisi lokal yang baik. 3) Pembelajaran Al Qur'an menjadi pilihan strategis dalam menjaga tradisi Islam orang Tolaki.Kata Kunci: Tolaki, Tradisi Islam, Kearifan LokalAbstract            Identifying Tolaki people as Muslims has a very strong basis. Not only because the majority of these ethnic groups embrace Islam, but in terms of historicity, the meeting of Orang Tolaki with Islam goes beyond the period of meeting with other recognized religions nationally. Historical deviation is inevitable, that finally the Tolaki finally convert religion due to zending in the Dutch colonial era, and now with various motives. But the stigma that Tolaki people are Muslims is still strong. Using a qualitative approach, this study conducts studies on several reviews: 1) the Tolaki people's struggle in approaching the Qur'an; 2) Islamic traditions that live in Tolaki Society; 3) safeguarding the Islamic tradition through learning the Qur'an. Kelurahan Bungguosu into the spotlight in this article due to very strong geliat in moving the learning activities of the Qur'an that blends with local traditions. The findings of this study show: 1) the Tolaki people's struggle in approaching the Qur'an stretches a fairly long period, from the beginning of encounter with Islam, then dynamics changed as the era of independence, the old order, the new order; and the reform era up to now. 2) The Islamic tradition that lives on Tolaki people is quite rich, is the result of encounter of Islamic teachings with good local traditions. 3) The study of the Qur'an becomes a strategic choice in safeguarding the Tolaki Islamic tradition. Abstract

Islamic Education in Higher Education is a subject spearhead the development of the personality. The hope is that students have a strong character in the practice of science, technology and art. In practice in Public Higher Education, the course is not getting treatment that is consistent with the spirit of building a formidable generation. Lakidende University also showed the same trend in which universities do not have a clear design of the position of subjects of Islamic education in the curriculum is. The response of students to the courses of Islamic education is still the same with other subjects. The measures taken by the lecturer of Islamic education are still in the context of educational interaction in the classroom, there was no movement in the form of additional activities outside of the classroom as on material enrichment classes.Keywords: Islamic Education, Public Higher Education, Curriculum
