Abstract

This research conducted to evaluate effective length of L beam and T beam (Lef and Tef) to the length of X direction (Lx) and Y direction (Ly). Model of the structure evaluated was space frame portal by using global coordinate X-Y-Z. Analysis of structure use SAP2000 program version 7.40. The first model of structure is three dimension portal with fix relation between beam and column, monolith relation between beam and plate as shell structure. Result of this analysis taken as benchmark data. The second model of structure is three dimension portal with fix relation for each member (beam and column), T beam and L beam use for replacing the combination of beam-plate. Length of space were equal for Lx and Ly 4 to 10 m (increase step by 1 m). Result of this research obtained effective length of T beam (Tef) = 31,5 cm for Lx = Ly = 4 M, and effective length of L beam (Lef) influenced by Lx and Ly. Abstract

Abstract — Industrial waste products can be considered as renewable resources, one of them is a steel manufacturing, which produced dust waste contain sponge iron, scrap metal and other steel wastes that impacted to environment. This waste material was called Electric Arc Furnace Dust (EAFD). This study investigates the feasibility of using EAFD as a cement replacement compared to silica fume (SF) and fly ash (FA) in terms of Chemical composition, workability, setting time, compressive strength and rapid chloride permeability resistance. The results showed that workability of EAFD is almost similar to control even if percentage of EAFD was increased. It is not refer to FA more workable or SF less workable with increase percentage of replacement. Furthermore, the EAFD significantly affect the setting time, which 3% EAFD replacement bring to prolong final setting time to more than 24 hours, while the setting time of SF and FA did not significant affected along with the increase replacement percentage. In addition, the 3% EAFD is optimum replacement for compressive strength and it is equivalent replacement level to 5% SF and 15% FA. Finally, the EAFD enhance the resistance for rapid chloride permeability more than FA but less than SF.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui lebar manfaat dari balok L ( lef ) terhadap panjang bentang arah sumbux ( Lx ) dan arah sumbu-y ( Ly) . Model struktur portal yang ditinjau adalah portal rangka ruang dengan menggunakan sistem koordinat global X-Y-Z. Analisis struktur dilakukan dengan bantuan program SAP2000 versi 7.40. Model struktur pertama berupa portal tiga dimensi dimana hubungan antara kolom dan balok adalah jepit, hubungan balok dan pelat adalah monolit dan bekerja sebagai struktur shell. Hasil analisis dari portal ini menjadi benchmark. Model struktur kedua adalah portal ruang dimana hubungan antara masing-masing batang ( kolom dan balok ) adalah jepit, balok L berfungsi menggantikan kombinasi balok dan pelat lantai. Panjang bentang portal yang ditinjau masing-masing adalah Lx dan Ly dengan variasi 4 m s/d 10 m ( kenaikan 1 m ) . Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa lebar manfaat balok L ( lef ) dipengaruhi oleh Lx dan Ly.Kata-kata kunci: lebar manfaat balok L, portal tiga dimensi, analisis struktur.
