Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the results of the level of understanding of physics concepts on the aspect of translation through the guided incuri learning model? The type of this research is True Experimental Design by using Posttest-Only Control Design. The research instrument used was a test of understanding the concept of the translational aspects of physics in the form of essay questions. The population is 120 students from class X of SMKN Buyasuri, and the sample is X class students "Ruminansia" totaling 30 people and "Poultry" totaling 30 people. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis through normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that the level of understanding the concept of the physics translation aspects of class X students in Ruminansia that were taught using the guided inquiry model obtained an average score of 85.33 and a standard deviation of 7.63 and an understanding of the concept of the physics translation aspects of Poultry class students taught without using the guided inquiry model obtained an average score of 70.33 and a standard deviation of 9.90. While the results of inferential statistical analysis show that the two classes come from homogeneous normally distributed populations and the value of tcount> ttable is 6.474> 1.673.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the improvement in students' science process skills after applying the problem-based learning model to physics learning. Physics learning at the high school level, namely at Makassar National High School, experiences several deficiencies in the science process skills experienced by students. Choosing a problem-based learning model can support the delivery of material well. This research uses the problem-based learning model to analyze students' science process skills before and after being taught. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research. The population in this study was 32 students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with two classes.  The level of science process skills of class X IPA 2 (experimental) students obtained an average score of 73.60 and class X IPA 3 (control) of 42.81. The results of the N-gain test analysis in the experimental class obtained an average value of 0.59 with medium criteria. The control class had an average N-gain value of 0.05 with low criteria, meaning there was an increase in both classes, so it can be concluded that there was a significant influence on students' science process skills after using the problem-based learning model, The research contribution is that the implementation of problem-based learning is very effective for improving physical science process skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the validity and practicality of virtual reality-based physics learning media on the topic of Kepler's laws. The number of participants in this research was 32 students and two teachers. The research method used was the R&D research method and the ADDIE approach. Data analysis was conducted using the Gregory test and the results of the data analysis. The virtual reality-based physics learning media on the topic of Kepler's laws has high content validity, with an average score of 0.97, and the results show that both the teachers and students had a high level of cognitive, affective, and conative responses to the VR-based learning medium. The average cognitive response was 80%, the average affective response was 85%, and the average conative response was 80%. Overall, the high level of response from the teachers and students suggests that the VR-based learning medium is practical for teaching Kepler's laws to physics students. These results demonstrate that the virtual reality-based learning medium is an effective tool for teaching and learning about Kepler's laws interactively and visually.
