Abstract

The design of the machine roll plate made from pewter to be developed is a machine that is simple, easy to be usde and does not endanger the user and use 1 phase ac motors. The system uses two cylinder rolls at the top and bottom with a thickness regulator by using a screw system. The material used is steel st. 40 for the roll materials and to get the smooth rolling process, then roll grinding cylinder. For the power cylinder roll will be analyzed by the software that is to know the voltage that occurs in the cylinder roll when rolling the pewter plate by assumed load of 1000 kg. The result of this research is the engine may roll the plate pewter with a size of 260 mm x 70 mm x 3 mm to a size of 430 mm x 77 mm x 1 mm, which takes 6 minutes of 1 plate pewter, plate surface pewter solid and smooth, and the size of the plate length increases ± 98% and ± 7% width, thus saving time, effort and cost in the casting process.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of financial literacy levels on financial management among students, individuals, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Financial literacy is a crucial aspect of achieving financial well-being. However, many individuals, including students and MSME owners, lack the knowledge and skills to manage their finances, which can lead to financial management mistakes. Based on a literature review, this study explores how financial literacy can affect the financial behavior of students, including debt management, savings, and investments. This study uses a qualitative approach through a literature review that includes theoretical analysis and scientific literature. The results of this research are expected to provide recommendations for improving financial literacy and financial management among the community, particularly students and MSME owners, thereby enhancing their overall financial well-being. Key words: Financial literacy, financial management, students, MSMEs

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages educational institutions to optimize administrative systems, including financial expenditure management. Currently, Universitas Catur Insan Cendekia does not have a digitalized system to record and manage financial expenditures, resulting in inefficient processes and a higher risk of errors. This research aims to design and develop a web-based financial expenditure application using the Laravel framework with the Dynamic System Development Method (DSDM) as the development approach. DSDM was chosen because it enables a flexible, iterative, and adaptive development process that aligns with user needs. The application provides key features such as expenditure submission, verification, validation, fund disbursement, transaction recording, and financial report generation. The results of this study show that the developed system improves work efficiency, recording accuracy, and transparency in financial management. Therefore, this application is expected to serve as an effective solution to support better financial governance within Universitas Catur Insan Cendekia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to design and simulate an automatic car parking system based on the ESP 8266 microcontroller in order to improve the efficiency of parking slot monitoring. Conventional parking systems are generally operated manually, which often results in time inefficiency and difficulty in determining available capacities. The proposed design applies an Internet of Things (IoT) approach by integrating several components into a prototype simulation. The ESP 8266 microcontroller serves as the main controller, connected to infrared sensors that detect vehicle presence. A servo motor operates as the parking barrier, while an ESP 32-CAM module enables visual monitoring of the parking area. In addition, a 20x4 LCD displays the number of available slots, vehicle entry and exit status, and real-time date and time. Sensor data are also transmitted to the Blynk application for real-time monitoring and control via smartphones. Simulation testing was conducted to evaluate system functionality. The infrared sensors, with a 10 cm detection range, achieved an average response time of 1.24 seconds for barrier operation. The servo motor successfully opened at a 90-degree angle with 2 watts of power consumption and a movement speed of 1.02 seconds. The LCD displayed accurate slot availability and real-time updates, while the Blynk application provided reliable monitoring and system indicators. The ESP 32-CAM ensured continuous visual observation of the parking area, and a buzzer alarm was triggered when vehicles attempted to enter during full-capacity conditions. In conclusion, the design and simulation of the system demonstrate its potential to enhance parking management by reducing manual supervision, enabling real-time monitoring, and increasing convenience for both drivers and parking operators.
