Abstract

Abstrak – Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menempatkan titik akses pada jaringan Wi-Fi. Dengan demikian, kekuatan sinyal yang diterima dari pemancar ke penerima adalah optimal. Masalah muncul ketika menempatkan titik akses untuk mempengaruhi nilai kekuatan sinyal. Selanjutnya, nilai ini akan digunakan untuk menentukan area jangkauan (jangkauan sinyal) dari pemancar (access point). Penelitian ini adalah studi kasus di Kampus Institut Perbanas di mana pengukuran kekuatan sinyal dari titik akses terhadap penerima di unit 2 dan unit 6 dari Perbanas Institute diukur menggunakan aplikasi inSSIDer. Studi kasus ini menghasilkan nilai Indikasi Kekuatan Sinyal yang Diterima (RSSI) dari pemancar ke penerima. Metode Simulated Annealing diterapkan dalam penelitian ini, dengan alasan untuk optimasi generik. Berdasarkan probabilitas dan mekanika statistik, algoritma ini dapat digunakan untuk menemukan pendekatan pada solusi optimal untuk suatu masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan optimisasi menggunakan metode Simulated Annealing prosentase koverage area sebesar 98.66 % dan, diperoleh kenaikan persentase koverage area sebesar 87.15%. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini akan memberikan kontribusi untuk memodelkan penempatan posis titik akses dan kekuatan sinyal pada jaringan Wi-Fi yang diperoleh di Unit 2 dan Unit 6 Kampus Institut PerbanasAbstract – The purpose of this study is to place access points on Wi-Fi networks. Thus, the signal strength received from the transmitter to the receiver is optimal. Problems arise when placing access points to influence the signal strength value. Furthermore, this value will be used to determine the koverage area (signal koverage) of a transmitter (access point). This research is a case study at the Perbanas Institute Campus where measurements of the signal strength of the access point towards recipients in unit 2 and unit 6 of Perbanas Institute were measured using the inSSIDer application. This case study produced a Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) value from a transmitter to the receiver. The Simulated Annealing method applied in this study, with reasons for generic optimization. Based on probability and statistical mechanics, this algorithm can be used to find an approach to the optimum solution to a problem. The results showed that after optimization using the Simulated Annealing method the percentage of koverage area was 98.66%. And, the percentage of the koverage area was increased by 87.15%. Thus, this study will contribute to modeling the placement of access points and signal strength in Wi-Fi networks obtained in Units 2 and 6 of the Perbanas Institute Campus.Keywords -  Koverage Area, RSSI, Simulated Annealing, Propagation, Wi-Fi

Abstract

FinTech, a word derived from a combination of "Financial" and "Technology”. Nowadays, this term refers to a new business in the Indonesian financial and banking industry, a technological innovation that is attracting public attention. The purpose of this study is to develop a FinTech mechanism model for technological innovation in the Indonesian Financial and Banking Industry. Problems arise in how to develop the FinTech mechanism model that influenced by business drivers factors, which in turn has an impact on technology innovations that developed. In this case study, the research used is mixed-method, which is a method that combines qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative research data were collected using the literature study, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions with related parties. Data survey using a questionnaire conducted for quantitative research, where the data was processed using smartPLS software. The results of this study produce a theoretical framework, which is the basis of the conceptual framework and empirical model of this research. The results of empirical tests on this model show that the FinTech mechanism has a role in mediating business drivers factors towards technology innovations developed in the Indonesian Financial and Banking Industry. The contribution of this research can provide insight and understanding for researchers and practitioners who want to develop business models related to FinTech in more depth.

Abstract

The acceleration of digital transformation and business model innovations fundamentally improves business growth and performance. However, the occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic has a significant influence on the insecurity of many business actors, especially Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). There are many efforts to recover the national economy by accelerating digital transformation for MSMEs programs by the government of the Republic of Indonesia. However, the problem arises when the process of accelerating digital transformation in Indonesian MSMEs is considered slow to encourage Indonesia’s National Economic Recovery (PEN as shortened in Indonesian) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research aimed to present a design model for accelerating digital transformation during the COVID-19 pandemic for Indonesian MSMEs. The research applied a descriptive-analytic approach with a qualitative method. Then, the analysis reviewed the content analysis of previous research. The two research models were analyzed. One was from Indonesia, while another one was from outside Indonesia. The results of the model design reveal that the acceleration of digital transformation is influenced by business driving factors and impacts the gaining value from business model innovations. The model of accelerating digital transformation for MSMEs is expected to contribute significantly to supporting government programs and strengthening National Economic Recovery policies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Change management in religious organizations, such as parishes, requires an effective management model so that it can run well and sustainably. The lack of consideration of personal quality factors and leadership of parish priests is a major problem in realizing better change management performance.  This study is intended to initiate a change management performance model in Citra Raya Parish through the leadership role of the parish priest. This study uses an empirical research method with a quantitative approach, with a case study in Citra Raya Parish. Valid data was collected from 100 parishioners through an online empirical survey, using a purposive random sampling technique. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of change management performance in the parish environment was influenced by the role of the pastor's leadership style and the personal qualities he possesses. Theoretically, these results contribute significantly to the existing literature, in line with the understanding that good leadership and personal qualities impact the ability to overcome management changes in an organization in this case study in a religious organization. The performance model of change management in Citra Raya Parish produced in this study has significant benefits and can contribute to being a reference for other churches in managing change more systematically and sustainably.

Abstract

The purpose of this empirical study conducted to determine the factors influencing student academic performance in Perbanas Institute Jakarta. Multiple Discriminant Analysis and Regression Logistic as main statistical multivariate analysis method were used in this study. Results of the analysis will be determined that the Logistic Regression method is more accurate and superior as well as determine the factors that influence students' academic performance Perbanas Institute. Student Academic Performance in the case study students of Perbanas Institute, using the comparison between discriminant analysis method and regression logistic were influenced by factors duration of study, student motivation, student family environmental factors, and Quality of Learning, and E-Learning System. This comparative study reveals that the logistic regression method is much better and more accurate than the Discriminant Analysis method.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to apply the monitoring & evaluation concept (M & E) in the student activity information system in the study program at Perbanas Institute. Student activities in higher education are usually very numerous and varied and require a financial aspect. Lack of monitoring and evaluation is the main problem faced by the study program on student activities. Thus, the M & E concept (including inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes, and impacts) needs to be applied to address these issues. The results of this study present Monitoring and Evaluation Information Systems for student activities in Study Program. This M & E information system for student activities will contribute to supporting the performance of the study program.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence has now become one of the innovative technologies in the industrial world and its existence can support this in several areas of business operations, one of which is protecting customer data in the banking sector. However, the application of artificial intelligence in protecting customer data in operational activities in the Indonesian banking sector still faces several obstacles in its implementation. The main objective of this research is to examine the role of Artificial Intelligence in protecting customer data in banking sector operational activities. This study is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Data collection through distributing online surveys. The research results describe the main obstacles to implementing artificial intelligence to protect customer data in banking operational activities, various uses of artificial intelligence applications, as well as their positive and negative impacts. The hope is that this research can contribute to Indonesian banking to improve its operational activities, especially in protecting customer data.

Abstract

Nowadays, many business people and academic researchers are paying attention to improving digitalization in business and innovation for business models, especially in the case of SMEs. Many SMEs have not implemented digitalization then, they never think about the business model as an issue that underlies the conceptualization of the MSME digitization model in this study. This research aims to provide a conceptualization of the SME digitalization model to assist Indonesia's "SME-Go Digital" program. In this study, a qualitative approach was applied using descriptive methods. The development of a conceptual framework based on Grounded Theory and Perception Analysis from the results of the SME survey was used to conceptualize the SME digitalization model. The results of this study present a conceptualization of the SME digitization model used to support the Indonesian government's digitization program (“SMEs Go Digital”). This study concludes that the SME digitization model had developed using a conceptual framework based on the description of grounded theory. Furthermore, this study emphasizes the influence of dynamic capabilities on the digitization of SMEs, which impacts the development of Business Model Innovations. The Indonesian government's "SME-Go Digital" program will be partially supported by contributions from this research. Keywords: conceptualization, government program, model, SMEs digitalization
