Abstract

ABSTRACTDrug abuse was serious threat for Indonesia future. Yogyakarta was the city of educator from variety of districts even from abroad too, so it was susceptible from threat of drug. People in general made building the clean drug area by aspiration of society brought the victims of drug abuse to rehabilitation institution really helped. These research purposes were to knew counseling function which counselor brought to handled resident (drug user) in PSPP Yogyakarta, and tomade analysis counseling impact which counselor brought to personal resilience of drug user in PSPP Yogyakarta.The kind of research was used qualitative research by phenomenology approach; research used depth interview, observation, literature, online, and documentation. Analysis technique used open coding and axial coding, then researcher checked by triangulation of resource data. Data analysis explained the role of counseling rehabilitation institution for handling the youth of drug victim by personal resilience implication in PSPP Yogyakarta. Research result was finding counseling role in PSPP Yogyakarta which had essential counseling function for creating comfortable and counseling function as role model. Counseling function was created from counseling factor, so it could improve resilience the youth of drug victim in PSPP Yogyakarta ABSTRAKPenyalahgunaan narkoba sudah menjadi ancaman yang serius untuk Indonesia.  Diketahui dari Yogyakarta, merupakan kota pelajar dari berbagai daerah bahkan luar negeri, sehingga sangat rentan ancaman narkoba. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui fungsi konseling yang dibawa oleh konselor dalam menangani pemuda korban narkoba di PSPP Yogyakarta, dan untuk menganalisis dampak konseling yang dibawa konselor terhadap ketahanan pribadi pemuda korban narkoba di PSPP Yogyakarta. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, melalui wawancara yang mendalam, observasi, studi pustaka, online, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan open coding dan axial coding, kemudian menggunakan trianggulasi sumber data untuk mengecek data yang berhasil peneliti dapatkan. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan adalah peran konseling di PSPP Yogyakarta membutuhkan fungsi konseling dalam menciptakan kenyamanan dan fungsi konseling sebagai role model.  Fungsi konseling tercipta melalui faktor konseling, sehingga mampu meningkatkan ketahanan pribadi pemuda korban narkoba di PSPP Yogyakarta. Dampak dari fungsi konseling, terciptanya ketahanan pribadi yang tertanam dengan kuat, agar mampu menghadapi tekanan lingkungan sosial dengan tangguh.

Abstract

Citizenship is among the notions mostly contested after the collapse of a long-standing authoritarian regime in 1998. The reform era – after 1998 - radically transformed Indonesia into a democratic country and brought many other issues including minority issues into the forefront. Unlike other countries that draw their citizenship on a clear formula between religious and secular paradigm, Indonesia, due to ambivalence of its religion-state relation, exhibits fuzzy color of citizenship that leaves space for majority domination over the minority. In consequence, the status of Ahmadiyya for instance, as one of an Islamic minority group, is publicly questioned both politically and theologically. Capitalized by two Indonesian prominent scholars, Burhani (2014) and Sudibyo (2019), I conducted approximately one-month field research in Tasikmalaya and found that what has been experienced by Ahmadiyya resembles Homo Sacer in a sense that while recognised legally through constitutional laws, those who violate their rights are immune to legal charges. This leads to nothing but emboldening the latter to persistently minoritise the former in any possible ways.

Abstract

This study focuses on Indonesia Merayakan Perbedaan (IMP)’s works to build social inclusion for agama (religion) and kepercayaan (faith) groups. The Constitutional Court’s decision No. 97/PUU-XIV/2016 was for sure a political turning point expected to eliminate stigma, discrimination, and recognition gaps between agama and kepercayaan groups. However, those were still prevalent. More alternative and creative work is still in need. This study demonstrates that IMP can be a model for building an inclusive community for agama and kepercayaan groups. IMP found ways to effectively instrumentalize the decision for diversity celebration. It managed diversity for inclusion in four phases: 1) raising awareness, creating understanding and encouraging reflection, 2) developing a vision of inclusion, 3) rethinking key management concepts and principles, and 4) adapting systems and processes. In doing so, IMP maximized opportunities and minimized challenges for the sustainability of its work in building an inclusive community. IMP’s participation in building social inclusion was a form of community intervention at a community level on ecological pathways to social inclusion. This study argues that community intervention such as IMP is significantly considerable to promote individual, organizational, community, and socio-political transformations to social inclusion, especially for inclusive interreligious relationships for agama and kepercayaan groups.

Abstract

Based on some early anthropological accounts, people understand adat as any traditional practice: including visiting graves and forest, belief in supernatural powers, and other rituals and ceremonies. Practically speaking, people have not differentiated between the term adat and the encompassing traditions, customs, laws, and others. However, the discourse of religion has influenced the comprehensiveness of the idea of adat. This paper describes the construction of adat through the colonial period, a time dominantly influenced by the discourse of religion. I argue that the colonial construction of adat has strongly impacted religion in Indonesia. Adat which became a contested term and used by the rulers has declined the religious dimension of adat. The construction of adat and the disposition of adat from religion was influenced by various factors including colonial policies. This paper identified three dominant discourse of adat as political construction in colonial Indonesia: firstly, adat as animism was considered as the practices which are not religious, uncivilized and primitive; secondly, the mainstream of adat law has concerned on the secular aspect of adat while neglected the religious dimension of adat; thirdly, the construction of adat as not religion subsequently strengthened the Islamic identity and stressed the adat as opposed to Islam.

Abstract

AbstractThis study is motivated by the gap between the disciplines of art and religion, which are generally considered separate and inseparable. This paper intends to prove that art and religion are actually complementary disciplines and humans cannot be separated between the two. This study aims to explain how the essence of human as a creature is religious, artistic, and religious also artistic at the same time. This study used qualitative research methods with informant data sources, places & events, and documents or archives. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Interviews were aimed at 6 different religious figures from the IMP organization (Indonesia Merayakan Perbedaan), namely Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Believers. Observations are aimed at human activities of various religions in religion and art which are carried out offline and online. Document analysis is aimed at extracting data from books, journals and other literature. The validity of the data was tested by source triangulation and informant review techniques. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques with data reduction, display, and verification procedures. The results of the study show that humans are actually creative creatures so that the emergence of religion and art cannot be separated from human creativity in seeking true truth. Humans have institutionalized religion while not for art, so that art and religion are not really to be contested. Artwork and religious worship are manifestations of the truth as a result of human reflection. The conclusion is that art and religion are institutions that are inseparable and complementary, which are essential for humans. AbstrakKajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesenjangan antara lembaga seni dan agama yang umumnya dianggap terpisah dan tidak dapat disatukan. Tulisan ini hendak membuktikan bahwa sejatinya seni dan agama menjadi disiplin yang saling melengkapi dan manusia tidak bisa lepas antara keduanya. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana esensi manusia sebagai makhluk beragama, berseni, dan beragama sekaligus berseni. Kajian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan sumber data informan, tempat & peristiwa, dan dokumen atau arsip. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Wawancara ditujukan pada 6 tokoh agama berbeda dari organisasi (IMP) Indonesia Merayakan Perbedaan yaitu Islam, Kristen, Katolik, Hindu, Budha, dan Penghayat Kepercayaan. Observasi ditujukan pada aktifitas manusia dari berbagai agama dalam beragama dan berseni yang dilakukan secara offline maupun online. Analisis dokumen ditujukan untuk mengali data yang bersumber dari buku, jurnal, dan literatur lainya. Keabsahan data diuji dengan teknik triangulasi sumber dan review informan. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis interaktif dengan prosedur reduksi data, display, dan verifikasi. Hasil kajian menunjukan bahwa manusia sejatinya adalah makhluk kreatif sehingga munculnya agama dan seni tidak lepas dari kreativitas manusia dalam upaya mencari kebenaran sejati. Manusia telah melembagakan agama sedangkan tidak untuk seni, sehingga seni dan agama sejatinya tidak untuk dipertentangkan. Karya seni dan ibadah agama merupakan manifestasi kebenaran hasil renungan manusia. Kesimpulanya adalah bahwa seni dan agama menjadi lembaga yang keduanya tidak dapat dipisahkan dan saling melengkapi juga dibutuhkan manusia secara esensial.

Abstract

The spread of religious radicalism in Indonesia has pervaded all levels of society without being able to be sorted are rigid. Responding to the situation, the government does the de-radicalization program, included Pesantren. This study aims to identify the communication strategy, internal and external factors in shaping public attitudes of Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren) towards the de-radicalization of religious with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The data collection is done by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and focus group discussions. Quantitative analysis tools using SEM. The results showed that the communication strategy of de-radicalization effect on public attitudes of Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren) through external factors significantly. External factors also influence the public's attitudes of Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren) directly with a strong and significant influence. The communications strategy of de-radicalization also directly affects the public's attitudes of Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren) with weak influence.[Penyebaran radikalisme agama di Indonesia telah merasuki semua lapisan masyarakat tanpa dapat dipilah secara rigid. Merespon situasi tersebut, pemerintah melakukan program deradikalisasi, termasuk di lingkungan Pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi komunikasi, faktor internal dan eksternal dalam membentuk sikap masyarakat pesantren terhadap deradikalisasi agama dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan FGD. Alat analisis kuantitatif menggunakan SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Strategi komunikasi deradikalisasi berpengaruh terhadap sikap masyarakat pesantren melalui faktor eksternal secara signifikan. Faktor eskternal juga mempengaruhi sikap masyarakat pesantren secara langsung dengan pengaruh yang kuat dan signifikan. Strategi komunikasi deradikalisasi juga berpengaruh langsung terhadap sikap masyarakat pesantren dengan pengaruh yang lemah.]
