Abstract

Structure interpretation of post-stack seismic data to delineate lithology boundary sometimes face difficulties in tracking reflector continuity, this is due to limitation of vertical resolution.  Reconvolution method has been applied to fix vertical seismic resolution. In order to validate the function reconvolution to amplitude related interpretation, amplitude variation with offset (AVO) has applied to geology model.  Reconvolution method was applied by increasing dominant frequency of seismic data and capable to minimize tuning thickness zone of geology model has been made. Modeling geology based on average of P velocity, S velocity, and density from field “X” well data and estimating P velocity, S velocity and density for fluid condition of reservoir. AVO analysis has been applied to validate how far reconvolution method capable to maintain amplitude behavior, AVO analysis using Zeoppritz equation in 10 to 30 degree angle and using intercept attribute (A), gradient (B) and product (A*B). Reconvolution method has used 50 Hz, 60 Hz, 65 Hz, and 70 Hz of wavelet.  Reconvolution method capable to fix vertical seismic data resolution, it can be seen by decreasing of tuning thickness from 16 to 14 meters. Based on AVO analysis that be used for validate reconvolution method is showing intercept (A) and gradient (B) value be affected by fluids condition in reservoir and presence the random noise in the seismic data. Intercept (A) and gradient (B) for reconvolved data do not have significant changes. However, wavelet has used in reconvolution that possess the smallest error value is wavelet with dominant frequency in 60 Hz and 65 Hz.Keywords: Structure interpretation, Tuning thicknes, Recovolution, and AVO analysis.

Abstract

ABSTRACT           Analysis on Post Stack Time Migration (Post-STM) with finite difference method and Kirchoff method with determine gap parameter on deconvolution after stack had been applied to 2D land seismic at line “SRDA”. This research had purpose to applied seismic data processing to get subsurface imaging with high signal-to-noise ratio and analyze how the gap parameter corresponding on deconvolution after stack, and to determine which the appropriate method of migration between migration finite difference and Kirchoff migration in Post Stack Time Migration (Post-STM).         Gap parameter selected in the deconvolution process after the stack is a gap 24, 32 and 64. Based on the analysis of the three parameters were chosen gap 32 which has the best results because the gap 32 in accordance with the conditions of the data and the effect does not change the condition of reflectors on seismic cross section. While the migration phase, the results better structure when subjected Kirchoff migration method, because it is more obvious than the reflector continuity migration finite difference method. Keywords: Deconvolution after stack, Post Stack Time Migration

Abstract

AVO inversion analysis (Amplitude Versus Offset) has been done on  DBT-12 field to identify and map the distribution of hydrocarbons in conglomerat layer, Jatibarang formation, northern part of West Java basin. Sensitiv physical parameters to  separate conglomerate with other litology (lava) are λ/μ, σ and Vp/Vs. Intercept which is obtained is positive while  gradient is negative. AVO anomaly class obtained is IIp can be used as a first indicator content of the fluid is low impedance sand. This reservoir impedance values decrease for the increasing of incidence angle. Besides intercept and gradient AVO attributes which obtained is fluid factor and Poisson reflectivity. Both of these attributes is negative which means changes value of Poisson's ratio is quite large from high to low. Changes in Poisson's Ratio can indicate the existence of a hydrocarbon. Distribution of hydrocarbons DBT-12 on conglomerate layer is northwest - southeast. Keyword : Inversion, AVO, Atributtes, Conglomerat, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

The southern part of western Java is a subduction path between the Indo- Australian plate and Eurasian plate which still active. Subduction paths can also be identified by geophysical methods. One of geophysics method that can be used is the gravity method. The gravity method can describe the form of subsurface rocks based on the variations of the earth's gravitational field which generated by differences in density (mass density) between rocks. This research was conducted to know the condition of subsurface by doing 2D modeling. Anomaly data obtained from bgi.omp.obs. At the regional anomaly, 2D modeling was performed showing the rock density and there is subduction in the south of West Java. The rock ocean plate has a density of 3.14 g/cm 3. Continental plate has a density of 2.51 g/cm 3,the rock which has been deformed has a density of 2.29 g/cm 3, sedimentary rock has density 2.11 g / cm 3 and bedrocks have density 2.36 g/cm 3. From the subduction model can be sloped between 11o to 13oKeywords: Subduction, West Java, Gravity method, Density

Abstract

Plan of Development I is the development plan of one or more oil and gas fields in an integrated way (integrated) to develop and produce hydrocarbon reserves. Field development was conducted in order to know the area indications of hydrocarbons based on petrophysics analysis and determine its content with multiattributes. By integrating the study of seismic data, well data (including petrophysical analysis) with geological and stratigraphic information is a necessary step to determine the characteristics of a reservoir. Formation evaluation and petrophysical analysis as an initial stage to characterize the reservoir by studying rock properties such as volume of clay, porosity and water saturation. Multiattribut seismic analysis is used to predict the physical properties of the rock as a whole in the seismic volume. Based on the results of the petrophysical analysis of the target porosity ranges from 11% -14%, from the netpay statistical data lumping results have value Net to Gross range of 7% to 40%.and water saturation ranging from 18% -38%. Seismic multiatributtes method can predict petrophysical analyzes well in the target zone.

Abstract

A research in “MF-3D” field under Pre Stack Depth Migration method for 3D seismic reflection data has been carried out. PSDM selected to describing to perfect subsurface structure that obtain. This research aimed to applying initial interval velocity model determination method in PSDM to obtain better imaging subsurface structure with lateral velocity variation. Initial interval velocity model determination method which used was Dix Transformation and Constrained Velocity Inversion (CVI). Velocity model is quite sufficient to determining interval velocity in shallow layer and inclined flat under Dix Transformation. However, Dix Transformation precisely obtains less sufficient and unstable interval velocity in deeper subsurface layer. CVI conducted to determining initial interval velocity model which required to obtaining better and stable interval velocity in deeper subsurface layer. Both models required to obtaining initial model of 3D seismic section in depth domain as PSDM result. That model will get correction by using Horizon Based Tomography Algorithm in further step. This research yields initial 3D interval velocity model as input for PSDM process. Key Word: Pre Stack Depth Migration (PSDM), Constrained Velocity Inversion (CVI), Horizon Based Tomography

Abstract

AVO analysis methods can be used to determined the hydrocarbon zones through AVO attribute that is a function of P wave velocity, S wave velocity and density. Map attributes are the result of AVO inversion process. Based on results of AVO response can be seen that the target area is a class IIp gas sand which is characterized by polarity reversal. AFI method provides results of probability modeling in wells using fluid substitution based on Gassmann’s equation. Fluid substitution result that consisting of P wave velocity, S wave velocity and density then used as input to get the intercept and gradient of each fluid brine, oil and gas. By adding a synthetic form of attribute data simulation intercept and gradient for various possible fluid content, probabilities can be calculated using Bayes' theorem. In this study the spread of hydrocarbons can be illustrated by a map of attribute and probabilities in the wells can also be known based on synthetic data from simulation. Analysis showed that the method AFI containing oil wells are wells SNI-01 with a probability value of 0.70 and containing gas wells are wells SNI-03 with a probability value of 0.68.Keywords: AVO, Fluid inversion, hydrocarbon, reservoir, probability

Abstract

The research was done to process 2D seismic data by Pre Stack Depth Migration (PSDM) method on Field “AV”. The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriate interval velocity model for PSDM methods work. Interval velocity model obtained from the initial estimate using coherency inversion velocity model is usually not convergent. Interval velocity model should be improved through several stages in order to speed the estimated value closer to the value of actual speed. Some initial interval velocity model parameters should be improved to be more sensitive to lateral velocity variations for PSDM. The method used to improve the velocity model is horizon-based tomography with the concept of ray tracing. These methods made improvements to the speed and geometry of the reflector layer to produce a new interval velocity model. Model errors must be corrected by residual moveout analysis. The best analysis obtained from the fifth iteration to eliminated errors and increased depth value gathers. The exact value of the speed made a good quality image. The results of this research was PSDM Section or PSDM cross-section. The quality of PSDM cross-section was good enough to represented geological structures in the earth's sub surface. Keywords: PSDM, interval velocity model, horizon-based tomography, ray tracing, residual moveout analysis.

Abstract

Has analyzed the distribution of reservoir zone at DT-1 field using accoustic impedance inversion and attribute of variance was performed to analyze the reservoir zone based on the porosity values and the attribute variance values at DT-1 field. Porosity values obtained from acoustic impedance inversion are transformed into the porosity value by leveraging relationships porosity and acoustic impedance values are inversely proportional. While the value of variance will provide information discontinuity seismic trace where this indicates a fault, stocky, and others to support the prospect reservoir zone. From this research showed that the porosity value and the value of variance in the bottom zone of the well DT-1 proved enough lies depth in the tight layer below the reservoir zone wells DT-1. In addition to the time between Mantawa horizon (target formation) with Base horizon showed good results in demonstrating the value of variance and porosity values of mutual support prospects zone of finding a new reservoir that is the northern region stretches eastward field DT-1. Zone prospect obtained reservoir porosity of 20% - 25% with variance value above 0.1 and acoustic impedance values 24000-28000 ((ft / s) * (g / cc)).
