Abstract

Air transportation is increasingly important. seen in 2016, 835.9 thousand departures of domestic and international aircraft, 99.7 million domestic and international passengers, 75.6% load-factor domestic and international passengers, and 715.8 thousand tons of domestic and international goods are transported. The development of regional tourism is greatly helped by the availability of air transport infrastructure and commercial property. in 2016 the number of foreign tourists reached 11,519 million tourists, supported by 2,387 star hotels, with a five-star hotel room occupancy rate reached 54.34%. Indonesia as the largest Muslim population in the world certainly has many halal tourist destinations and Muslim tours. Increasing the quality of air transport and airport will automatically increase the interest of halal tourism and Muslim tours of Indonesia. so that the Muslim tourists and the world's halal tourists will visit many tourist destinations in Indonesia.

Abstract

Information needs are necessary for humans to answer questions that are in the mind, in order to enhance their professions or main activities. The needs of each person are influenced by different situations, cognitions and physiological backgrounds. All aspects of human life require information which is expected to continuously support the improvement of life patterns toward increasing complexities. The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the relationship of information seeking behavior by military instructors with the learning outcomes of transportation briefing of the Indonesian Army in Cimahi. This study used the correlational research method with the Spearman rank statistical test; study results showed: 1) a positive relationship between the information seeking behavior of the initiation phase and learning outcomes of transportation briefing; 2) a positive relationship between the information seeking behavior of the selection phase and the learning outcomes of transportation briefing; 3) a positive relationship between the information retrieval behavior of the exploration stage and the learning outcomes of transportation briefing; 4) a positive relationship between the information seeking behavior of the formulation stage and the learning outcomes of transportation briefing; 5) a positive relationship between the information collection stage collection behavior and the learning outcomes of transportation briefing; and 6) a positive relationship between the information seeking behavior of the presentation stage and the learning outcomes of transportation briefing. In conclusion, there is a positive relationship between information seeking behavior by military instructors and the learning outcomes of transportation briefing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan elemen teori kesempurnaan media pada penyebaran informasi di Instagram @folkative. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Instagram @folkative telah menerapkan keempat elemen penting, yaitu kesegeraan (immediacy), keragaman isyarat (multiple cues), variasi bahasa (language variety), dan sumber personal (personal source). Pertama, kesegeraan penyebaran informasi oleh Instagram @folkative tergolong baik dengan memanfaatkan fitur Instagram Feeds, Instagram Reels, dan Instagram Stories, serta fitur Like, Comment, dan Share untuk mengukur kecepatan umpan balik. Kedua, keragaman isyarat dalam penyebaran informasi meliputi desain gambar, font, logo, dan audio dalam beberapa postingan. Ketiga, variasi bahasa yang digunakan terdiri dari bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris, yang memungkinkan jangkauan audiens lebih luas. Keempat, sumber personal ditunjukkan melalui interaksi tim folkative dengan pengikutnya, termasuk penerimaan direct message yang dibagikan di Instagram Stories dan program "Folkative Session". Namun, keterlibatan tim folkative dalam membalas komentar pada postingan masih perlu ditingkatkan untuk meningkatkan interaksi dengan audiens.

Abstract

Indonesia’s geographic locations surrounded between two major oceans and two major continents brings a number of advantages and disadvantages such as high soil fertility as well as high propensity for tectonic and volcanic-induced disasters. Therefore, it is important for every Indonesian to possess high levels of disaster literacy and disaster preparedness to minimize losses caused, specifically for tectonic and volcanic-induced disasters. Research data are collected through offline questionnaires chosen for the size of research area and age spread of respondents that are dominated by age 36 and older respondents. Data analysis are done using SPSS 26 and multiple linear regression method is used due to multiple independent variables used in this research. Significant relationship is found between disaster literacy and emergency response plans as well as disaster literacy and early warning systems. However, significant relationship between disaster literacy and disaster knowledge as wall as disaster literacy and resource mobilizations are not present. While the researched community possess the ability to prevent excessive losses, knowledge and resources utility still needs to be maximized further.
