Abstract

In 2020, the world was shocked by the news of the Covid-19 virus. The domino effect in all fields and the taking of many lives is a serious and important issue to anticipate. Microblogging social media is the channel chosen in order to provide an understanding of the community by buzzers. In conducting campaigns on Twitter microblogging, the buzzers involved exchanged messages and information so that the orchestration was carried out simultaneously, in tune, and right on target. In this study, the concepts developed are buzzer, microblogging, and orchestration with qualitative research types and using the literature review method. The results showed that the successful buzzer orchestrated viewed from the distribution of content and information through likes, retweets, and replies from each post. This shows the existence of buzzers in the 4.0 industrial revolution became an important part in every campaign carried out.

Abstract

This research aims to examine Baleele culture as a value inheritance ritual in Banggai culture. This research is qualitative, using an ethnographic approach with the following steps: [1] Determining the object of ethnographic research; [2] Identifying and determining the location of the cultural group; [3] Selecting the cultural theme of the cultural group; [4] Determining the type of ethnography; [5] Collecting information; [6] Writing research results. The result found that Baleele is a form of ritual communication carried out at a certain time, ahead of the "Big Ritual" of Banggai custom, namely the Mabangun Tunggul Ritual, held every 6 years. Baleele is one of the rituals that takes place three nights before the Mabangun Tunggul Ritual. The Banggai people strongly believe in the advice delivered, and consider the process as something sacred, valuable, for themselves, their families and the Banggai community as a whole.

Abstract

Early marriage, a phenomenon of marriage that occurs before the age of majority or before free and legal consent, is a social problem that has a wide impact in many countries, including Indonesia. This reality is further exacerbated by data obtained from UNICEF that as of the end of 2022, Indonesia is currently ranked 8th in the world and 2nd in ASEAN as a country with the number of early marriages or marriages of underage children, with a total of nearly 1.5 million cases. In an effort to overcome early marriage, persuasive communication through various media and platforms has been considered an effective tool for increasing awareness and changing people's attitudes and behavior. The PIK-R (Youth Information and Counseling Center) program has become a significant initiative in providing information and support to teenagers in facing social issues, including early marriage. This research will examine and analyze the persuasive communication carried out by PIK-R in preventing early marriage in Sikunang Village, Wonosobo, Central Java. The aim of this research is to understand and analyze the persuasive communication strategies carried out by PIK-R. Data was taken from observation transcripts as well as conducting direct interviews with members and people in charge of PIK-R Sikunang Village. The research approach used by researchers is a descriptive qualitative approach which aims to analyze how persuasive communication is carried out by PIK-R in preventing early marriage in Sikunang Village, Wonosobo, Central Java. The results of this research found that the persuasive communication carried out by PIK-R Sikunang Village in prevention was considered not yet optimal and needed to be improved further in its implementation Central Java.
