Abstract

Tongging Tourism Village, Brand District, Karo District, North Sumatra is a tourism village that can provide a large profit for regional income and improve the economy of the community. But in fact the population in the Brand District basically has a more dominant livelihood in the agriculture and fisheries sector. The village, if utilized and developed in the tourism sector, will attract even more domestic and foreign tourists, so that people's welfare will improve. Development basically will provide a change and impact on the surrounding objects. The purpose of this study was to determine how the impact arising from the development of tourism on the economic conditions of the surrounding community in the village of Tongging. This research uses descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The focus of this research is the development of tourism and its impact on the state of the community's economy. The data collection and determination of the level of development are carried out by the method of collecting data in case studies, comparative studies, and documentary analysis. The data analysis technique used in this research is to use Qualitative Descriptive through several processes such as data verification, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results seen that there is an impact of increasing the economic community in the development of tourism in the Village of Tongging. The positive impact of tourism development on changes in the people's economy, especially their livelihoods. Tourism provides opportunities for changes in people's livelihoods that are expanding. As with tourism development, research results show that the development of Tongging Village has an impact on the lives of surrounding communities. The number of visitors who come causes a velocity of money flow in the village of Tongging, so that the income of people both working in the tourism and non-tourism sectors increases. One of the impacts of tourism development in Tongging Village is the construction of commercial facilities in the tourism area, starting from minimarkets, hotels and souvenir centers.

Abstract

Consumer behavior is part of human-related marketing management. Consumer behavior is not the same and changes all the time, so consumer behavior in choosing satisfaction must be studied continuously. Therefore, the researcher wants to learn about the consumer behavior of Oriflame, which is a cosmetics company that offers different types of cosmetics with high quality and natural. Oriflame is a cosmetics company that offers high-quality natural cosmetics and skin care products through a network of independent sales forces that is different from the retail system in general.This study aims to determine consumer behavior in satisfaction in choosing cosmetic products at PT Orindo Alam Ayu (Oriflame) Medan Branch. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection and determining the level of development are carried out by means of collecting data by means of questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative by going through several processes such as data verification, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the informants felt satisfaction in using Oriflame products as much as 66.7% and would recommend to other parties to choose Oriflame products as both beauty products and health products as much as 67.6%. Consumer behavior towards satisfaction in choosing oriflame products at PT. Orindo Alam Ayu Branch Medan is influenced by four factors, namely (1) social factors, (2) personal factors, (3) psychological factors and (4) cultural factors.

Abstract

Human resources have an important role in a company. A company will have difficulty to achieve its goals without the support of its employees. Therefore, employees who have owned the company need to be maintained and developed its quality. Career development is career enhancements owned by employees to be developed to be more potential than ever. The work environment is something that exists around the workers and that affects itself in carrying out the tasks it imposes. and job satisfaction is a positive attitude and a pleasant feeling towards the job, leadership, co-workers, work environment and other matters concerning the condition of his work. The population used in this research is all employees of PDAM Tirta Malem in Kabanjahe as many as 114 employees who then use Slovin formula in taking sample to yield 54 respondents in this research. The data used in this study is the primary data obtained directly from the results of the distribution of questionnaires from respondents in the field. Together these two independent variables namely career development variables (X1) and work environment variables (X2) affect job satisfaction variable (Y) with the value (Fcount 106.471> Ftable 3.179) thus the two independent variables have a positive and significant influence on the variable bound. Both independent variables are able to explain the dependent variable of 80.3% in the test results coefficient of determination (R2).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job training on employeeperformance at J&T Medan. In this study the population is all employees of J & T MedanRingroad Branch with a total of 35 people. The number of population is small, so thedetermination of the sample is done with a saturated sample (census sample), where allthe population is used as a sample. The independent variable in this study is job training,while the dependent variable is employee performance. Data analysis using simple linearregression analysis with the results of job training research has a positive and significanteffect on employee performance at J&T Express Medan with a significance value of tcountof 6.977 greater than t-table (1.691).
