Abstract

This research aims to conduct a study regarding the implementation of the pitra yadnya ceremony during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Saksari hamlet, North Cakranegara subdistrict, Lombok. The background of this research is related to the habits of Hindus in this area to carry out the pitra yadnya ceremony by continuing the tradition of menyama braya, saling rojong, sidikara, and fraternal ties in creating harmony. The pitra yadnya tradition carried out by Hindus today is experiencing adjustments as a result of the spread of the Covid 19 pandemic, with social restrictions. In this regard, this research focuses on three formulations of problems, namely (1) how is the pitra yadnya ceremony; (2) what is the family strategy in implementing the pitra yadnya ceremony; and (3) what are the implications of the pitra yadnya Ceremony for community during the Covid-19 Pandemic in the Saksari hamlet, North Cakranegara subdistrict? This study was designed in a qualitative descriptive study to provide an overview of the implementation of the pitra yadnya ceremony at the research location. Based on the research results found three findings. First, the pitra yadnya ceremony procedures during the Covid-19 pandemic were carried out simply, without reducing the meaning of the ceremony, according to the concepts of iksa, sakti, desa, kala, patra, and tattwa. Second, the family strategy in carrying out the pitra yadnya ceremony during the Covid-19 pandemic is to continue to carry out the ceremony by following the advice and appeals of the Parisadha Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI) or Hindu religious council and health protocols. Third, the implication of the pitra yadnya ceremony for the community during the Covid-19 pandemic is the change in the social order of the community, such as menyama braya, saling rojong, and sidikara, from an economic point of view, it was much more efficient than the situation before the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The development of the times makes the mindset of humans also develop in accordance with existing developments. In implementing religious teachings, Hindus are always guided by three basic frameworks of Hinduism, namely: (1) Sraddha (belief); 2) Susila (religious ethics); and (3) Religious Events (yadnya ceremonies). These three basic frameworks are always related to one another. The process carried out at the otonan ceremony is as follows: 1) facilities needed include; leaves, fruits, snacks, nuts (bija-bija), rice, sticky rice, chicken, duck, pork, eggs, coconut, pane, mortar (lumping), chicken cage, etc., 2) Upakara levels, namely Nista, Madya and Utama, 3) The time of implementation, among others, there are those who carry out at the age of 210 days, there are those who carry out at the age of 610 days or more, and there are those who carry out sustainable autonomy. 4) The procedures include; Sulinggih uploads mapuja, Ngaturang pengastawa to Surya, Nyirat bebanten, ngaturang kerik shampoo, ngaturang rayunan, Mesolasan to Sor, joint worship, descends to the ground followed by a round of mortar and magogo-gogoan, hair cutting, Majaya-jaya, Natab Semayut, Nunas Tirtha wangsuhpada, Owing to Handling, Megat Bebalik, and finally throwing hair to Segara/Sea, 5) The leader of the ceremony Price where they are masurya, or people who are elder in the output for sustainable otonan and the Islamic Mangku Kemalik for the Megat Bebalik ceremony, 6) The type of offer consists of; daksina, squeeze, jerimpen, kurenan, conjurer, pengambean, penyegjeg, pagah tuuh, pajegan, tissues, greetings, and bajang.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world has made tourism now not run well, especially tourism in Sade Village, imperative Lombok. the brand new everyday technology is one of the opportunities inside the promoting of Sade Village tourism, the lack of information of the Sade community approximately the importance of generation is one of the declines inside the stage of tourist visits, however that is unique for Sade Village. This studies makes a speciality of 4 things, namely: Mass Media communication, Constraints, solutions from limitations, Implications. method The studies uses descriptive qualitative techniques, with the sort of facts series the usage of remark, interviews, and documentation. The data had been analyzed thru the ranges of reduction, publicity, and conclusion drawing so they come to be research consequences inside the shape of tips or pointers. Abstract

The communication media in this study is a tool or means used to communicate and convey messages from individuals to other individuals or groups. The formulation of the Media Communication research problem in the COVID-19 Pandemic Era at the Mataram Tourism College, namely (1) What is the form of media communication at the Mataram Tourism College in the COVID-19 pandemic era? (2) What is the process of realizing media communication at the Mataram Tourism College during the COVID-19 pandemic era? (3) What needs to be evaluated from the realization of media communication at the Mataram Tourism College during the COVID-19 pandemic era? The purpose of this study is expected to be able to adjust and improve the quality of forms and processes of online communication in universities. In this study, two theories were used to solve the problem: Communication Media, Form of Communication.This research is descriptive qualitative research, and the data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. This study showed that media communication at STP Mataram uses Whatsapp to communicate and provide information related to lecturing and other general information, Google Classroom to provide materials and assignments and Zoom Meetings to discuss teaching material and conduct online meetings. The lack of teaching staff competence in using and implementing online media is a factor that needs to be taken seriously. It needs immediate action by providing socialization about online media communication. The problem with students' internet signal is a big obstacle that needs to be considered, so the lecturers need to provide teaching material to be shared through Google Classroom. The process of online lecturing can be recorded to be used for the student to learn.
