Abstract

AbstractThe presence of the Religious Hate Speech (RHS) has had negative impacts such as intolerance, extremism, and even radicalism. Given the increasing number of young people, especially students who may be exposed, it is important that prevention efforts are carried out. One of them is through multicultural education. This study aimed to examine the facts of RHS and offer solutions through the concept of lita'arofu (to recognize each other) as a model of multicultural education. The method used is a literature study (library research by conducting a review of relevant literature and previous research. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the phenomenon of RHS in Indonesia is getting worse, as evidenced by cases of hate speech that actually bring down fellow Muslims; (2) multicultural education is urgent to be implemented in schools to create a moderate understanding of religion; (3) development of the interpretation of lita'arofu in QS. Al-Hujurat: 13, among others, changing direction from qabilah to ummah, giving choices instead of imposing, and broadening the perspective The lita'arofu model is important to apply, because this model will present a moderate religious narrative to prevent the RHS from spreading.

Abstract

Fenomena asusila abu-abu di YouTube menjadi sebuah problem yang berdampak buruk, jika konten-konten tersebut ditonton terutama bagi generasi muda. Padahal sejatinya, dalam Islam fenomena demikian dianggap sesuatu yang dapat menjatuhkan kehormatan. Prinsip maqasid syariah telah mengarahkan tujuan kehidupan ini menjadi lima dasar pokok atau kulliyat al-khamsah. Salah satu pengembangan dari kelimanya adalah hifz al-irdi (menjaga kehormatan). Maka konsep ini begitu penting sebagai upaya menyikapi tindakan asusila abu-abu di YouTube. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengkaji tentang: (1) motif pembuatan konten asusila abu-abu; (2) wawasan Alquran mengenai hifz al-irdi; (3) hifz al-irdi sebagai etika bermedia sosial (YouTube). Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan menggali dan mengelaborasi ayat-ayat Alquran kemudian menghubungkannya dengan teori dan penelitian relevan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Konten asusila abu-abu sejatinya telah mewabah khususnya pada konten YouTube Indonesia. Di antara motif munculnya keinginan membuat konten asusila abu-abu adalah karena dorongan faktor popularitas atau ketenaran serta karena faktor ekonomi atau pendapatan (finansial). (2) Ada banyak ayat Alquran yang berbicara mengenai hifz al-irdi, namun salah satu yang relevan terdapat dalam QS. Al-Baqarah: 273 yang berbicara tentang anjuran menjaga kehormatan dengan cara tidak meminta-meminta. Konteks ayat ini dihubungkan dengan larangan membuat konten yang buruk hanya untuk popularitas dan finansial belaka. (3) Di antara panduan Alquran dalam membuat konten yang menjunjung tinggi hifz al-irdi adalah konten yang tidak merangsang (mendekati zina), memakai pakaian yang pantas, dan mengutamakan budaya malu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) describe the implementation of the assessment carried out by Akidah Akhlak teachers; (2) identify the factors that cause the teacher's dilemma in carrying out authentic assessments on the subject of Akidah Akhlak. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validation technique uses source and technique triangulation. While the data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the implementation of authentic assessment on Akidah Akhlak subjects at MA Sabilal Muhtadin has not been carried out optimally, it can be seen from teachers who only provide assessments on cognitive aspects through written tests, while psychomotor aspects have not been carried out. As for the affective aspect, the teacher carried out observations but did not use instruments. (2) The dilemma of teachers in carrying out authentic assessments is caused by three main factors, namely minimal resources, the dogma of the KTSP assessment that is still strong, and the busy factor coupled with the shortening of offline learning time during the pandemic. The implementation of the assessment should be supported by various parties by improving the quality of existing resources as an effort to improve Islamic Education Subject assessment in madrasas.
