Abstract

This research was aimed to give an understanding to stakeholders at educational institution especially Islamic institution in order to manage their institution by optimizing the potency they have. It is because a statement that a high quality school is a school that emphasize on good management within its insititution, administration, and human resource management. It was a descriptive qualitative research and used ovservation, interview, and documentation as the method of collecting data. To analyze the data, the researcher used data reduction because this research applied qualitative approach that was aimed to describe role of management at Muhammadiyah Vocational Scool of Bandongan Magelang Regency. Based on the result of research, Muhammadiyah Vocational School of Bandongan Magelang Regency used ISO 9001:2008 to manage the institution, it assummed that a good quality school will be reached easier and faster. Some attemps have been carried out for instance the alumni of this school have been transferred to interpreneurship or factories. Other attemps to reach high quality also have been tried by this institution to have better management by giving transparancy on every organization management, giving some sustainable training to improve professionality of personel management, and the whole quality of islamic school.

Abstract

The phenomenon of moral decline and the humanitarian crisis is now rampant and is happening everywhere. The act is not only done by teenagers, but by some parents and even leaders. This can be seen by the proliferation of corruption, the association of free sex, drugs, the spread of news about sheepfighting and hatred and hoax news that are very disturbing to the public. Even radical movements in the name of religion and ethnicity began to flourish. The purpose of this study is to unravel the theme of the urgency of the spirit of the leadership of jihad embedded in the success of education because education leaders now face very heavy challenges in the success of education. The research method used in the research is the type of library research. Based on the results of the conceptual study the urgency of the spirit of the jihad of a leader towards the success of education is found that a leader in his heart implanted the spirit of jihad for the success of education, then a leader will devote all his abilities seriously in doing something in good totality concerning life, emotions, energy, mind and knowledge and time and place for the success of education. This shows that the ideal education leader is a leader who has leadership talents who are strong, responsible and have a spirit of great jihad in carrying out his leadership duties, and still maintain noble character in his own personality.

Abstract

Abstract:Education is an effort to create a superior generation and be able to compete in the global world. Because education is actually a process of changing one's paradigm of good thinking. Pendidina also able to change one's mindset so that they can explore themselves, therefore in Islamic educational institutions, especially Islamic-based Islamic boarding schools in the archipelago are needed in the development of technology and science.This research is a type of field research (fileld research), with a phenomenological approach. Data collection method in this study uses interviews with stakeholders in Islamic boarding schools based on the archipelago, not only that researchers also use observation methods related to the implementation of technology and science based on the archipelago of Islam, as well as documentation related to documents on the implementation of technology and science in Islamic schools archipelago-based Islam. In analyzing the data the researchers used data reduction and triangulation techniques to obtain accurate data related to the application of technology and science in Islamic-based Islamic boarding schools in the archipelago.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study using a library approach, the object of the material is the relevance of the philosophy of progressivism and its implications for Islamic education. The data collection method in this research uses literature study. In this stage, the researcher tries to select data (books) that are relevant to the philosophy of progressivism and its implications for Islamic education. In this paper the analysis used with hermeneutics, this method step is intended to capture the meaning, value and purpose of the relevance of philosophy of progressivism and its implications for Islamic education. Then the authors also use synthesis analysis means the stages of an object of scientific study that connects an articulation of meaning with one another meaning which is then discovered by a new articulation of knowledge in the form of the philosophy of progressivism and its implications for Islamic education. The author also uses content analysis about the content of the philosophy of progressivism and its implications for Islamic education. The results showed that the flow of philosophy of progressivism was the flow of modern educational philosophy which required a change in the implementation of education to be more advanced. This flow of progressivism prioritizes the implementation of education in children-centered schools (student-oriented) and makes educators limited to being facilitators, mentors, and directors for students. The purpose of the flow of progressivism in education is to want to change the practice of education that has been impressed authoritarian to be democratic and more respectful of the potential and abilities of children and encourage the implementation of learning that involves more students. By implementing the flow of progressivism in education, the hope is that it can bring change and progress in education in Indonesia to become more quality, so that it can realize the goals of Indonesia's national education
