Abstract

The purposes of this study are to understand : (1) the tendency of creative thinking ability of sixth grade students who were taught using inductive learning model, (2) the tendency of creative thinking abilities of students of class VII are taught using conventional learning model, (3) Is the ability to think creatively math studentsVII class taught by using inductive learning model would be more effective than students who were taught using conventional learning models. Hypotesis in this research was "The ability to think creatively Class VII student of mathematics Park Adult Mother Pawiyatan Yogyakarta academic year 2013/2014 is taught using inductive learning model is better than the students who are taught using conventional learning model”. This research used experimental method, wich the experimental group taught by inductive learning model compared to control group that taught by conventional methode. The number of student in experimental group and control group were equal, 28 student. The collection of data used in this research is a test technique, then the data were analyzed using the t test correlated.  From the paired t test, the result of this research showed that the value of   = -2.626 compared to  = -2.052 can be concluded that the hypotesis was accepted. From the comparison of experimental group mean and control group mean can be interpretated that experimental group mean was better than control group mean; 15,964> 14,071. From this research can be suggested to the teacher to use inductive learning model to improve the ability to think creatively.
