In performing its duties and obligations as the districts, the employee is required to work in a professional manner. However, to achieve the expected direction, attention to the factors of motivation, ability and performance should be a serious concern. Without it, performance is expected to be difficult to achieve. Research that has been done is aimed at; 1) identify and explain the partial effect between motivation and work ability of employees to employee performance Pakis subdistrict; 2) identify and explain the simultaneous influence between motivation and work ability of employees to employee performance Pakis subdistrict; 3) to determine which variable between motivation and ability to work has a dominant influence on employee performance Pakis subdistrict. In this study population is all employees of the District Office Pakis Malang Regency, totaling 26 people. Given the number of small population, the sampling is done by census or whole. This study showed no significant relationship between work motivation (X1) and employability (X2) on the performance (Y) Employees in District Pakis. Statistical test results also show that the ability to work (X2) the dominant influence on the performance (Y). This result also proves that the third hypothesis is accepted.
