Abstract

This community service activity aims to raise awareness of the residents of Tunggilis Village on the importance of proper waste sorting, selection and management. In addition, this activity also aims to increase the knowledge, skills and creativity of housewives and PAUD teachers in making APE and being able to implement it in learning according to aspects of child development. The method used in this PKM is Participatory Action Research (PAR), namely first, providing material about waste and APE using the lecture method, to provide education about waste, waste problems, types of waste and how to sort and select waste that can be used as APE. Second, the manufacture of APE using the training method in the form of direct practice of making APE using the tools and materials that have been prepared. Third, implementing a monitoring method for PAUD teachers in making APE and implementing it as a learning medium in their respective schools. As a result of this community service activity, PAUD teachers can make their own APE, and implement it in teaching and learning activities in their respective institutions. Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran para warga Desa Tunggilis akan pentingnya pemilahan, pemilihan dan pengelolaan sampah yang benar. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan, keterampilan serta kreatifitas para para ibu rumah tangga dan guru PAUD dalam membuat APE dan mampu mengimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran sesuai aspek perkembangan anak. Metode dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yaitu pertama, memberikan materi tentang sampah dan APE menggunakan metode ceramah, untuk memberikan edukasi tentang sampah, permasalahan sampah, jenis-jenis sampah dan bagaimana memilah dan memilih sampah yang bisa dijadikan APE. Kedua, pembuatan APE dengan metode latihan berupa praktek secara langsung membuat APE menggunakan alat dan bahan yang sudah dipersiapkan. Ketiga, melaksanakan metode monitoring kepada guru-guru PAUD dalam membuat APE dan mengimplementasikan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah masing-masing. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, para guru PAUD dapat membuat APE sendiri, dan mengimplementasikan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di lembaga masing-masing.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the parenting pattern of parents towards their children. Parenting patterns are habits that parents do to their children such as nurturing, guiding and leading their children in the family. However, this is not the case with toxic parenting. In this toxic parenting style, parents will treat their children badly, for example, controlling their children too much, yelling at children, verbally abusing them, blaming children, criticizing and being selfish with the aim of being for the good of their children. But in reality, this condition will make children depressed, depressed, stressed, and not confident. The purpose of the study was to determine the characteristics of toxic parenting of children in the family by using the literature study method with data collection techniques in the form of information from written sources. Based on the results of research on toxic parenting, it can be concluded that toxic parenting is very dangerous and has a large negative effect on the development of children in the future. This is because this kind of parenting has a link that the child will do when he grows up and has children, because he thinks that the parenting style carried out by his parents is good. To avoid toxic parenting, parents must try to recognize their child's behavior, provide opportunities for children, control emotions and establish good communication with children.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi metode bernyanyi untuk meningkatkan aspek perkembangan sosial emosional anak di TK PGRI Dewi Sartika. Dimana metode ini adalah metode utama yang selalu digunakan di setiap kegiatan pembelajaran pada anak di sekolah. Selain itu, metode bernyanyi juga bisa digunakan untuk mengembangkan aspek sosial emosional anak. Melalui bernyanyi, anak-anak sangat antusias dan senang mengikutinya. Metode ini digunakan pada kegiatan awal, inti dan penutup. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan ini dapat menunjukkan bahwa aspek sosial emosional anak dapat berkembang dengan baik menggunakan metode bernyanyi. Kata Kunci: metode bernyanyi, sosial emosional, anak usia dini Abstract The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the singing method to develop children's social and emotional at PGRI Dewi Sartika Kindergarten. Where the singing method is the main method that is usually used in every learning activity in early childhood. In addition, the singing method can also be used to develop children's social and emotional aspects. By singing, the children are very enthusiastic and happy to follow it. This method is used in the initial, core and closing activities. The results indicate the social emotional aspects of children develop well after using this method.
