Abstract

Paddy is a food crop that is widely cultivated by farmers as farmers group members in Sari Nadi Village. This study aimed to determine the role of farmer group in improving the socio-economic status of lowland rice farmer before and after becoming member of farmers group. This research was conducted from March to August 2020 in Sari Nadi Village, Kota Bangun Regency, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Determination of the sample number used the proportional sampling method. The data were analyzed by using descriptive method. Farmers group plays a role in improving the socio-economic status of lowland rice farmer with a total score of 1,283 and an average of 33.76. The socio-economic status of farmer before becoming member of a farmers group was low and increase become high after becoming a member of a farmers group.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to determine the cost, revenue, and profit of fruit seedling marketing and the feasibility of marketing business of fruit seedling at the CV. Flora Chania in Palaran Subcity, Samarinda City. This research was conducted during 3 months from March to May 2019. The data were collected secondary data. The analysis included calculation of cost, revenue, profit, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C Ratio), dan payback period. The research results showed an average operational cost of IDR248,945,720.00 year-1 or IDR20,745,477.00 month-1, an average revenue of IDR349,900,000.00 year-1 or IDR29,083,333.00 month-1 and the average income of IDR100,818,566.00 year-1 or IDR8,326,547.00 month-1. This research found  the NPV value of IDR37,464,538.00 at a factor discount rate of 10%, IRR value of 4.6%, Net B/C Ratio value of 1.32, while the payback period of 1 year and 4 months. The results of this research  indicate that based on an assessment of technical aspect, management and legal aspects, market and marketing aspects, and financial aspect, the marketing of fruit seedling is feasible to be developed.

Abstract

The revenue is something that motivates farmers to do oil palm farming. The purposes of this study were to determine the production costs, revenue, and income of oil palm farming of partnership pattern in Lamin Telihan Village, Kenohan Subregency, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The study was conducted from December 2018 to February 2019. Data collected in this study were primary  and secondary data. Sampling in this study was taken purposively. The total samples in this study were 30 respondents. The data analyzel method which used were production costs, revenue, income, and the R/C ratio. The results of research showed that the total of production costs incurred by farmers was an average of IDR4,497,500.00 ha-1 year-1. The revenue obtained by farmers was an average of IDR13,919,425.00 ha -1 year-1. The income earned by farmers was an average of IDR9,412,441.67 ha-1 year-1. The value of R/C ratio was 3.11 meant that oil palm farming is profitable to cultivate.

Abstract

The Gotong Royong Cooperative is expected to play a major role in increasing economic activity in Perdana Village. This study aimed to determine how the level of the role of cooperatives in increasing the economic activity of farmers in Perdana Village, Kembang Janggut Sub-district. This research was conducted from March to May 2021 in Perdana Village, Kembang Janggut Sub-district, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The method of determining the location is carried out by purposive sampling (deliberate), measuring data using a Likert scale through several question items that have been arranged in a questionnaire and given a score, with a total of 20 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the role of the oil palm Gotong Royong Cooperative to farmers in Perdana Village shows a very instrumental role in determining the economic activity of farmers, to prosper all its members. There needs to be more awareness among fellow members, both active and not in Gotong Royong Cooperative, achieving common welfare as members and increasing farmers' economic activity through this cooperative.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan oleh petani, serta mengetahui pendapatan usahatani jahe di Desa Jonggon Jaya Kecamatan Loa Kulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Jonggon Jaya Kecamatan Loa Kulu Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode kuota sensus. Berdasarkan ciri dan sifat yang ada di Desa Jonggon Jaya Kecamatan Loa Kulu maka jumlah sampel sebanyak 13 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, adapun metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan rumus biaya, penerimaan, dan pendapatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari luas lahan 0.58 ha dengan rata-rata 0.04 ha menunjukkan bahwa total biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp65,170,607 mt⁻¹ dengan rata-rata Rp5,013,123 mt⁻¹ dan besarnya penerimaan yang diterima sebesar Rp102,384,000 mt⁻¹ dengan rata-rata Rp7,875,692 mt⁻¹. Hasil analisis menunjukkan total pendapatan yang diperoleh dari 13 responden yaitu sebesar Rp37,213,392 mt⁻¹ dengan rata-rata Rp2,862,568 mt⁻¹. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa usahatani jahe di Desa Jonggon Jaya Kecamatan Loa Kulu Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara telah mendapatkan hasil produksi, penerimaan, serta pendapatan yang diharapkan bagi para responden untuk dapat mempertahankan kegiatan usahatani ini.
