Abstract

The development of information technology is felt so rapidly. All fields have used information technology; both in medicine and exact science, and even now the religious field has used it. One of the advantages of information technology in the field of religion is the emergence of sites that contain da'wah or religious promotions. This is far different from the time of Prophet Muhammad SAW when delivering da'wah for the first time. He delivered da’wah stealthily and took very long time, but the existence of social media turned into open and transparent media and saved time and energy. In addition, social media can also be used as a means to change the behavior and lifestyle of society, one of which is the nature of dependence on social media, and fashion changes very quickly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of social media in developing da'wah in Indonesia. Social media that is often used by the Indonesian people can be trusted to bring about changes in the behavior and methods of preaching to be conveyed. Currently, scholars in developing their preaching have also used social media. This type of research is descriptive qualitative by describing the findings or data available in the field then described as information. The method used is a direct interview with respondents about the impact of social media on the development of da'wah in Indonesia. The results obtained are the impact of social media on the development of Da'wah is that currently Da'wah has used technology such as social media for the propagation of Da'wah. Most scholars preach using social media such as YouTube and Facebook. This makes it easier for the scholars to preach.

Abstract

The Lodoyong Village area is an area that is prone to flooding. Therefore, handling is needed to protect the community from the threat of disaster. This study aims to determine the role of BPBD Semarang in empowering banjir bandang management in Lodoyong Village, Ambarawa District, Semarang Regency. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The method of data collection using observation and interviews. Observations were carried out by observing directly at the location affected by the flood disaster. Meanwhile, interviews were conducted with BPBD Semarang and affected communities. The results showed that the role of BPBD in disaster management was carried out at the pre-disaster stage by establishing community preparedness and post-flood evacuation, logistical assistance and repair of public infrastructure. These various actions were taken to build community capacity in restoring socio-economic conditions
