Abstract

In essence, epistemology is a combination of thinking rationally and thinking empirically. This way of thinking is combined in the study of natural phenomena to discover the truth, the mind and the senses. Therefore, epistemology is an attempt to interpret and prove the belief that we know another fact, other than ourselves. The purpose of this research is to discover the workings and concepts of epistemology of science according to Al-Ghazali? And how the acquisition of knowledge and truth through Laduni science. The results showed that Al-Ghazali thought that Laduni science came from God directly into the human soul, the perfect soul of a clean and ready soul to muwajahah with God, that is where the science of God will be radiated. There are several methods to acquire laduni science. First, through the search of all the science and the most perfect part of a large number of available. Second, through the method of riyadhah and muraqabah. Third, through the method of reflection (tafakur). Fourth, through the method of inspiration. Fifth, through the tazkiyat an-Nafs method, the purification of the human soul through takhalli and tahalli stages. Sixth, through the method of zikr.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab terkait dengan lingkungan masing-masing. pada hal umum terdapat kesamaan, begitu juga dalam soal yang detail terdapat perbedaan yang secara khusus hanya terjadi dalam kondisi tertentu saja. Keadaan ini perlu mendapatkan perhatian sehingga memungkinkan akselerasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab walaupun terdapat di minoritas muslim. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi realitas dan praktik pembelajaran bahasa Arab minoritas muslim Papua Barat. Secara khusus mengkaji madrasah di Kota Sorong. Wawancara mendalam dan pengamatan dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari teknik pengumpulan data. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi data dan diskusi terarah dalam tiga kali pertemuan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan dinamika pembelajaran bahasa Arab di wilayah minoritas muslim. Beberapa tantangan dan sekaligus peluang yang menjadi daya dukung pembelajaran. Sementara itu, keterbatasan diatasi dengan melakukan kolaborasi dan kerjasama kelembagaan sehingga masing-masing institusi dapat saling mendukung antara satu dengan yang lain. Makalah ini mengelaborasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab bukan saja tentang kemampuan berbahasa tetapi juga berkaitan dengan spirit beragama. Kata Kunci: madrasah, minoritas muslim, kerjasama, realitas, tantangan

Abstract

One of obstacle to enjoy ideal Islamic education in the minority Muslim region is there is no excellent educational institution is running in the area. Therefore, some Muslim family should send their children to study outside the city. Unfortunately, not every family could reach the way. One of the initiative to establish Islamic education which to convey integrated education was in Sorong city of West Papua. The case study was conducted in SDIT Al-Izzah, Sorong. Non-participant observation and in-depth interview were conducted to collect data. The primary school was started on 2006. The program is similar with other national school of the nation. In addition, religious subjects were integrated to the curriculum in enhancing Muslim understanding. They launched Quranic Based Green School. This program to accelerate school program with Quranic values rooted. Moreover, the school was supported through leadership and team work. The team work conserve the program from side to side and maintain from the concept to the program. Finally, this paper concludes that Muslim minority enjoy the opportunity to launched educational institution. They have a wide range chance in educating Muslim society. Nowadays, the school lengthens to the senior high school after a countless successful development.

Abstract

Arabic is the compulsory subject of elementary school in Ministry of Religious Affair, Indonesia. Therefore, it is a need to identify the Arabic teaching and learning in extending the new curriculum. This article discusses the development of Arabic teaching and learning in Muslim minority of West Papua. Qualitative approach was applied during research. It was started from focus group discussion to identify research problem among elementary school teacher. Observation and in-depth-interview were conducted to collect data. Three months serial observation and interview to students, teacher, and school management were employed in ensuring data collection was stimulated. This article shows that Arabic language teaching and learning in Muslim minority of West Papua was developed to articulate environmental need. In addition, there are circumstances during program acceleration. Therefore, there are programs to develop and extend classroom achievement. Finally, this article discusses initiatives from teachers and school management in expanding and enlarging learning opportunities not only in school area and time, but also outside school hours.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi model-model penilaian kinerja guru untuk dapat dirumuskan satu model yang efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menganalisis sumber-sumber pustaka terkait dengan penilaian kinerja guru. Dilihat dari analisis datanya penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi (library research) untuk mengkaji pustaka-pustaka terkait dengan penilaian kinerja guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap hasil-hasil penelitian, buku-buku pustaka, dokumen-dokumen maupun informasi-informasi yang terdapat dalam internet. Data yang terkumpul dalam penelitian ini dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan memperhatikan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (a) Pada dasarnya terdapat persamaan kriteria yang digunakan berbagai institusi dalam penilaian kinerja. Kriteria-kriteria tersebut meliputi aspek pembelajaran (perencanaan, pelaksanaan, manajemen kelas, lingkungan belajar dan asesmen), komunikasi dan pengembangan profesionalisme, (b) Dilihat dari cara penilaian kinerja, pada dasarnya hampir semua negara menggunakan paduan dari berbagai metode seperti pengamatan, dokumentasi maupun isian dan test, (c) Pemaknaan terhadap hasil penilaian kinerja guru (scoring) juga menunjukkan variasi yang beragam, namun demikian apabila dicermati pada dasarnya semua negara menggunakan empat kriteria yang meliputi kategori: istimewa, tinggi, butuh pengembangan dan tidak memuaskan (tidak lulus). Kata Kunci:  Kinerja guru; model; penilaian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana hubungan mesjid, lembaga sekolah, dan pasar dalam meningkatkan pendidikan di masyarakat. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode Observasi dan wawancara. Wawancara dilakukan dengan Kepala sekolah serta wali murid SMP Quba Kota Sorong. Adapun observasi dilakukan pada lingkungan sekolah, pasar, serta mesjid yang menjadi awal sekolah tersebut dibangun. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa di kota Sorong terdapat sebuah pasar dengan nama pasar Central. Pasar tersebut letaknya berdekatan dengan mesjid Quba. Keberadaan mesjid Quba di sekitar pasar Central memiliki peranan yang sangat penting bagi orang-orang yang sedang berniaga di pasar. Pasar dan mesjid tidak dapat dipisahkan keduanya saling membutuhkan dan saling menguntungkan antara satu dengan yang lainnya. Selain pasar dan mesjid, terdapat lembaga pendidikan yang barada di dekat lingkungan pasar tersebut, di kenal dengan nama SMP Quba. Walaupun letaknya berdampingan dengan pasar yang dikenal dengan keramainya setiap hati ini tidak menggurangi ataupun menggangu aktifitas belajar mengajar yang terjadi pada lembaga pendidikan tersebut Dengan melihat dari fungsi sekolah, maka SMP Quba yang berada disekitar pasar dan mesjid merupakan suatu kesatuan realitas kehidupan yang mampu menjadikan masyarakaynya menjadi masyarakat madani.
