Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh modelBrain Writingterhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu.Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 berjumlah 33 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan perlakuan model Brain Writingdan kelas XI IPS 2 yang berjumlah 33 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes, sedangkan teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah perhitungan uji-t menggunakan program SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil tes antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata tes awal kelas eksperimen 62,82 meningkat menjadi 82,15 pada tes akhir. Hal ini menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan sebesar 19,33. Nilai rata-rata tes awalkelas kontrol 59,33 meningkat menjadi 74,33 pada tes akhir. Hal ini menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan sebesar 15,00. Hasil analisis data dengan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 6, 091> ttabel 1,998 dengan df64 pada tingkat signifikan 95% (α=0,025). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Palembang. Dengan demikian, Ha berbunyi “Ada perbedaan antara keterampilan siswa yang diajar dengan modelBrain Writingdan siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model konvensionaldalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi” diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Brain Writinglebih berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Palembang.

Abstract

Learning media must be developed into various types because there are limitations in the use and selection of appropriate media for learning. This study aims to produce learning media products using Scribus based on works of fiction in class VIII at SMP Negeri 4 Palembang. This research is a development study utilizing a modification of the ADDIE and Alessi & Trollip models. The stages of this research are analysis, design, and development. The data collected in this study comprises both quantitative data, in the form of questionnaires, and qualitative data, in the form of interviews. The results of the learner needs analysis are 80.51% (very high need), and the teacher needs analysis is 69.64% (need). Then, the results of media validation achieve a percentage of 96.92% (very feasible), the results of material validation accomplish a percentage of 83.07% (also very possible), and the results of language validation achieve a rate of 89.09% (also very feasible). From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the learning media developed fall into a very feasible category and can be used for teaching and learning activities on works of fiction.

Abstract

This study aims to create an E-LKPD product supported by the Socrative application for teaching listening to fable texts in class VII of SMP Negeri 8 Palembang. The purposes of this study are to describe the analysis of teachers and students needs for the development of socrative-based E-LKPD, and to produce the design and development of Socrative based E-LKPD for learning fable texts in class VII. The type of research used was development research with the ADDIE model, which consists if five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, validation sheets, questionnaires, and written tests. The result of the language expert validation obtained a percentage of 78% in the acceptable category. The material expert validation obtained. The material expert validation it with 89%, which is very feasible. The student’s questionnaire showed 98%, which is very good. The N-Gain score was 0.63, which is moderate. So, it can be concluded that the E LKPD product using the Socrative app is suitable for use in learning activities.
