Abstract

The highly provision of good and quality health care services is indeed a highly difficult challenge to take. The density of implementation of health service entails a mass involvement to alleviate the development it needs to sustain quality and effectivity to various phenomenal issues or situations. However, to coagulate a health care services it needs some improvements especially that the situation is being modernize and develop by various innovations and researches that therefore be inoculated to the system and be applied to the environment for better implementation and utilization. Nevertheless, the catalytic changes would be much better need today’s situations and that would be input thru comprehensively decisions and assessments. This study aimed to assess the programs and health services, and implementation of health services in terms of accessibility, provider, and quality of the University Health Services. Qualitative descriptive survey was conducted on 111 respondents to assess the level of attainment on the programs and health services, and level of satisfaction on the implementation of health services in terms of accessibility, provider and quality. For the respondent probability sampling and purposive sampling were used in because not all the population will be the respondents. Data were collected and analysed by frequency count and weighted mean. The result were the programs and health services were marked as attained which being rated by the respondents, while in terms of the dimension variable it is enlightening that the satisfaction level on the accessibility, provider and quality of health services marked as satisfy as evidence on the average weighted mean. The study concluded that in order to fully attain the programs and health services it needs to be intensify comprehensively and more strengthen regarding on the implementation of the health services and its programs. The action would augment the effectiveness of the health programs by putting it into more comprehensive health services and programs for long term implementation. Moreover, it will guarantee the health of the university at the same time to the faculty and staff including the students within the university. The dimension variable of satisfaction level on the accessibility, provider and quality of health services marked as satisfy as evidence on the average weighted mean. The implication is that health services and programs needs to heighten and be more utilize in the university exclusively to the individual to attain its optimum satisfaction level. Moreover, to alleviate the access to quality care and strengthen health care provider’s ability to plan, coordinate and manage services. This intervention would sustain its functionality and purpose for continuum of care. Keywords: assessment; programs; implementation; health services; satisfaction

Abstract

Ecumenical care practices is a sacred practice connected to chaplain practices that the nurse must provide to every patient. It is well defined that spiritual care practices are a component of holistic care, which is an integral part of the nursing profession, the ideal practice in giving care to the patient and considered the most crucial subset, which can easily be executed by nurses. The main objectives of this study is to determine how no significant relationship between the demographic profile and nurses ecumenical care practices and to assess the ecumenical practices of nurses in the provision of holistic care. The researchers used descriptive-correlational design. An online survey was done due to the limited interactions brought about by the pandemic. The researchers limited the study in the province of Isabela wherein they chose all the nurses in three (3) chosen hospitals, a private sectarian, non-private sectarian and government hospital. The researcher used Frequencies and Percentage, Weighted Mean, Mean Score, Chi Square Test and Anova Test as Statistical Treatment. Annova Test shows Significance F - value was less than 0.05. The null hypothesis is rejected. There is significant difference between the ecumenical care practices of nurses when they are grouped according to their profile variables. Chi Square shows significance C values for all the profile are greater than 0.05. The null hypothesis is accepted. There is no significant relationship between the level of integration of nurses of the ecumenical care and their profile sex, age, educational attainment, school graduated from, religion, patients each shift and time of shift. Ecumenical practices plays a vital role in every patient, in both sick and well so, it is important to respect the patient’s religion and integrate the practices in appropriate time and place. The researchers recommend that the nurses must be transcultural in addressing their patient to prevent bias and provide a good relationship with the patient for them to be comfortable and verbalize feelings to the nurse. Abstract

Visual communication has become a trend in health education during the COVID-19 pandemic specially the use of infographics. The purpose of this study is to determine the visual preference of the respondents on COVID-19 infographics with different language used among the residents of Ricarte Norte, Diffun, Quirino. Descriptive-correlational study was conducted among selected residents at Purok 4, Ricarte Norte, Diffun, Quirino through non-probability convenience sampling technique. Questionnaire consist of 2 parts. The first part focused on the profile of the respondents. On the other hand, the second part concentrated on the respondents’ perception regarding the visual preference of infographics on Covid-19 in terms of different designs and language used using the Likert scale. Data were gathered through face-to-face. The result revealed that the over-all visual preference of the respondents on COVID-19 infographics was “Fairly Preferred” but specifically, each group of the respondents exhibit unique and different visual preference on the COVID-19 infographics. The study revealed further that there was no significant difference as to the perception made by the respondents on their visual preference on the COVID-19 infographics and there exists a significant relationship between the assessed visual preference of the respondents on COVID-19 infographics with the used of the different language domain with their profile variables. Keywords: visual preference; infographics; covid-19

Abstract

Job satisfaction has been the motivational factor every employee aspires in order to enjoy and develop passion in performing their job efficiently and effectively.  This study aims to determine the job satisfaction of registered nurses in chosen Private Hospitals in Isabela, Province. This Quantitative research, a descriptive correlational study conducted among 30 nurses who works in the said place through accidental sampling technique. The questionnaire used is a researcher-made consists of two parts, the profile of the respondents and the nurse's job satisfaction parameters through a likert scale. Findings shows through Pearson’s chi-square C test at 0.05 level of significance that Nurses in chosen Private Hospitals in  Isabela showed no significant relationship between job satisfaction profile. It is concluded when grouped according to their profile, where C>.05 analysis,  that there is no significant relationship between the respondents’ job Satisfaction and their profile, these parameters do not influence their job satisfaction. However, for the position of the respondents; the significance C value was less than 0.05; this means that there is a significant relationship between the job satisfaction of the respondents and their position. This study will help the Private Hospitals to determine the factors that influence the job satisfaction of the nurses. Keywords: job satisfaction; registered nurse; private hospitals in Isabela

Abstract

In research on statistical modeling, researchers generally use sample-based data, but in a less frequent proportion, there are also researchers who use population-based data. For this second group, the researcher should not use the p-value as a basis for deciding the effect between variables, because this method is only suitable for sample-based modeling. For modeling using population-based data, researchers cannot use p-values, so meaningfulness should be used to determine the influence between variables. In this case, the minimum value of the path coefficient that is considered meaningful is 0 . Keywords: modeling; path analysis; population-based; meaningfulness
