Abstract

Theology should apply in the every area of ​​life, because we are all asked to be the doers of the Word. Values ​​in society are crystallized in the form of culture. But not all cultural values ​​that are formed have a good value. Are we going to be spectators and be passive and apathetic, or are we moved to apply theology in culture as a form of our contribution to express the truth of God's word that influences culture? What Abraham Kuyper has done in applying theology in culture can be an example for us. The authors carry out one of the application of theology in culture in everyday life, that is against the culture of Bajaj drivers who violate the traffic that resulted in two congregations died from being hit.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic problem raises many questions, whether the pandemic exists because of human sin? Is this suffering from God? Does God allow this to happen? If God is love, why should this pandemic occur? And various other kinds of questions. The purpose of this study is to find relevant values of theodicy concepts during the COVID-19 pandemic. This method uses qualitative research methods on the seven selected theodicy concepts and the latest research journals' results. Comprehensive results are obtained from the seven angles view of theodicy concepts relevant during the COVID-19 pandemic. From the study results, it can be concluded that the values of each theodicy concept studied gave appropriate contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

AbstractIn dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cipanas Theological Seminary students must adapt to changes in the Distance Learning process. This has an impact on student academic stress. The study was conducted on 43 (semester 3 and semester 5) students of STT Cipanas as participants to see the difference in academic stress levels between students who have studied face-to-face with students who take distance learning. To obtain data on differences in stress levels between face-to-face lectures and distance learning, researchers used the Academic Stress Scale measuring instrument which has been translated in Awaludin's research (2015). This instrument has been modified by Setiadi, et al (2020). With the analysis technique of Independent Samples T-Test and Paired Sample T-Test. 1) The academic stress level of 3rd semester students during distance learning is significantly higher than 5th semester. 2) The level of academic stress of 5th semester students during distance learning is significantly higher than face-to-face learning. Although the COVID-19 pandemic is not certain to be completed in a short time, the institution can use the results of this research to develop learning designs that minimize academic stress on students in distance learning.

Abstract

Masalah pandemi COVID-19 membuat proses belajar dan mengajar tidak dapat dilaksanakan dengan tatap muka lagi, maka dialihkan menjadi proses belajar dan mengajar jarak jauh atau online. Hal ini mengakibatkan pedagogi juga mengalami perubahan, termasuk para pendidik dalam melaksanakan proses belajar dan mengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan konsep pedagogi yang tepat agar dapat diimplementasikan pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif; melakukan analisis kualitatif dengan memilih dan meneliti tujuh konsep perkembangan pedagogi terbaru di era digital dan hasil penelitian dari jurnal-jurnal dalam lima tahun terakhir. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan perlunya diterapkannya konsep baru yang relevan Pedagogi di era digital dalam konteks pandemi Covid-19 dengan mengambil nilai-nilai penting dari ketujuh konsep pedagogi yang diteliti.Kata kunci: Digital, Konteks, Pandemic, Pedagogi, Teknologi. The Covid-19 pandemic problem makes learning and teaching not can be implemented face-to-face again, then transferred to the process of distance learning or teaching online. This result in pedagogy also experienced changes, including educators in implementing the learning and teaching process. The purpose of this research is to get a concept appropriate pedagogy to be implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using qualitative research methodologies; conduct qualitative analysis by selecting and researching seven concepts of the latest pedagogical developments in the era digital and research results from journals in the last five years. From the results research can be concluded the need to apply the new relevant concept of Pedagogy in the era digitally in the context of the pandemic Covid-19 by taking important values from the seven pedagogical concepts studied.

Abstract

The development of technology is so rapid at present, the products produced greatly affect human life; either the ones that provide benefits or the ones that causes negative impacts. Parents, teachers and clergies finally see the importance of educating the adolescents to prevent and overcome the negative impact of online games addiction. Is the integrative and holistic Christian faith formation able to prevent and overcome the negative impact of the addiction? This paper is a result of a research that claims that the integrative and holistic Christian faith formation is able to lower the level of the addiction at the adolescents, especially at the younger children. While for those who don’t have any Christian faith formation, increase their level of addiction. In conclusion, it should be taken a precaution in order to avoid the teenagers from online games addiction by equipping them with training as early as possible. And for those who are in serious level of addiction, it is encouraged to take the integrative and holistic Christian faith formation.Perkembangan teknologi begitu pesat saat ini, produk-produk yang dihasilkan sangat memengaruhi kehidupan manusia, baik itu yang bermanfaat, maupun yang dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif. Orang tua, guru dan rohaniwan melihat pentingnya perhatian pada pembinaan anak remaja agar dapat mencegah dan mengatasi pengaruh negatif kecanduan games online ini. Apakah pembinaan iman Kristen yang integratif dan holistik dapat mengantisipasi dan mengatasi pengaruh negatif kecanduan games online terhadap anak remaja? Tulisan ini adalah hasil penelitian yang menyatakan bahwa pembinaan iman Kristen yang integratif dan holistik dapat menurunkan tingkat kecanduan terhadap games online pada anak remaja, khususnya pada anak-anak yang berusia lebih muda. Sedangkan anak-anak remaja yang tidak mendapatkan pembinaan iman Kristen, semakin meningkat tingkat kecanduan terhadap games online.  Jadi kesimpulannya, perlu diambil langkah antisipasi agar anak-anak remaja tidak semakin tinggi tingkat kecanduannya terhadap games online dengan mengadakan pembinaan sejak dini. Sedangkan untuk mereka yang telah tinggi tingkat kecanduannya, dapat diambil langkah mengatasinya dengan memberikan pembinaan iman Kristen yang integratif dan holistik.
