Abstract

Bog lebak farm, specially shallow lebak have potency to be developed to to become agriculture farm like rice field farm which is have irrigating. Farm lebak bog characteristic at the rains suffused by water and at dry season happened dryness, pond irrigate in shallow lebak bog do not go alongway so that in have paddy crop conducting to have risk lacking of water, good at a period of/ to growth or at a period of/to admission filling of fruit as a result fruit become small even do not contain, so that unattainable optimum productivity. Taken by step is to provide seed ready to plant before water pond dwindle. Seed conducted in territorial water with ploating system, by using materials, for example: bamboo, gegas leaf, and green algae from territorial water. Pursuant to result of Laboratory Majors Land, Faculty OfAgriculture, IPB, that nutricie element content can be used at phase growth of seed. Conducted of seed with system float in territorial water hence problem of is ready of seed at lebak bog farm which still suffused by water can overcome and crop will be able to be conducted at the time of water not less than 20 cm.

Abstract

Temulawak is a plant propagated vegetatively with rhizomes. Its rhizome undergoes a dormancy phase in dry season and this phase will break up in wet season. The objective of this study is to know the dormancy breaking by soaking the temulawak rhizome in stimulating biology liquid (0, 2, 4, 6 ml/l) and commercial auxin liquid (0, 10, 20, mg/l). The result showed that both liquid could stimulate the dormancy breaking. However those treatments were not different with control (biology liquid 0 g/l and commercial auxin 0 mg/l ). The number of shooting rhizomes, total shoots, rooted rhizomes and total roots in all treatment were not significantly different from the control.

Abstract

The rice production in Indonesia is not balance with the population rate. Thiscondition is caiseb by the productive agriculture land is coverted into housing area,industries/factories, roads, etc. The “Rawa Lebak” has a high potential to bedeveloped become productive agricultural land. But, there are severval constrainswhich have to be overcome, that is the source of water, where where in the dryseason there are drought and in the rainy season there are fload, the land is notfertile, and produtivity is low. Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) District have “ Rawa Lebak”land area to a high of 164,034 hectars. In not deep and middle “rawa lebak” typeshave high potensial to be developed irrigation agricultural land trough technologyapplication in water management ang cultivation which can increase theagricultural index to 3 times anually and rice production reach to a high of 7,00tons/ha (dry reap). Therefore, “rawa lebak” can be used as alternative in theagriculture developmen outside Jawa.

Abstract

The industrial and population growth in Java leads to converse the land function from the agriculture to industrial, estate and high way. Therefore, the development of agriculture must be relocated to outside Java, where there are a lot of land available. One agricultural of problems in outsideJava is the lack of labour especially for land cultivation and other which need many labour. The use of mechanical appliance. is the best alternative to overcome that problem. This research was assessed four aspects for applying of mechanical appliance in lebak bog farm. The objective of the research was to extend the use mechanical appliance to increase farm production, farmer income and tractor interpreneur income.

Abstract

Technique hydroponic system with Nutrient Film Technique (NFT), is one way of vegetable crops that can be done in a narrow and without the use of soil media. Nutrition is done by pouring so that it can carry oxygen (O2) from the air. Generally fertilizer nutrient used in hydroponic technique is AB-mix, this study sought to examine alternative combinations of NPK fertilizer and liquid biokompos on some degree of concentration thatcan provide optimum production growth in crop varieties caisim Tosakan. This experiment used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments. Data analysis was performed using different test each plant and resumed Duncan Multiple Test Distance otherwise known Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% level (F count> F table orP> 0.05) was conducted to determine the extent of the effect is real or not experiment treatmentResearch results indicate that administration of a mixture of NPK fertilizer and liquid fertilizer biokompos An1O1 the treatment can be used as a substitute for AB-mix in the provision of nutrition to the cultivation of varieties caisim Tosakan with hydroponictechniques. An1O1 treatment is the best dose when compared to the control treatment AB-mix, An2O2, and An3O3 the highest production yield component (gross production amounted to 97.67 g / plant and 85.75 g CP / tan).
