Abstract

The trading of palm oil in the world from year to year increasing. Along with improvement request of palm oil needed by a adequate palm plantation development. Indonesia as second biggest producer in world also have the importance to extend areal palm plantation. The Extension potency of palm plantation instructed in East Indonesia region. One of big potency is Papua. For development palm plantation in Papua needed a feasibility study. The result of feasibility study an IRR (Internal Rate of Return) of 19.77%; a NPV (Net Present Value) of Rp.180.956.970.000,00; a Profitability Index of 1,11; a BEP (Break Event Point) of 11.499.970 kilograms and Payback Period of 6 year and 2 month. Based on this study, development of Palm plantation is feasible to be implementation in Papua

Abstract

North Bengkulu Regency composed of the lowland in the coastal periphery with beautiful coast and the plateau around protected area of Bukit Barisan. The seashore and coastal area unfold as long as region has the big biological resources to be renewed. The mountain ridge area has agricultural produce and forest which the potential to support development of region. Economic analysis of region indicate that economics North Bengkulu District increasing from 4,82 becoming 5,55 percent per year. Manufacturing industries sector, mining and Quarrying sector, Trade; hotel, and restaurant sector, Agricultural sector, Electricity, gas and water supply sector; and also Transportation and communications sector grow up more than 5 percent. AGROMARINE-POLITAN Concept is one of approach to be reference of the regional economic expansion in North Bengkulu Regency. The Implementation of Agromarine-politan required the policy support and strategy development from various sector. There are tourism, agriculture, fishery, transportation, forestry, environmental, manpower and transmigration

Abstract

The business unit's black tea processing of Perkebunan Nusantara suffered a loss of approximately Rp.60 billion. This is caused by the failure to achieve the quality and quantity of production which has been targeted by the management. Black tea processing factory "Pahit Madu" is required to improve the performance of the production process. To improve the production of black tea starts from improved production equipment through improved equipment utilization. One method ofmeasuring the effectiveness of using an apparatus is Overall EquipmentEffectiveness (OEE). OEE calculation results show that black tea factory "Pahit Madu" for four (4) years under the standard. Means, the effectiveness of utilization of equipment in the factory black tea "Pahit Madu" was still very low. This was shown by the low performance equipment in the milling unit, drying unit and sortation unit. Toimprove the performance of the plant should begin by increasing the Cutting Tearing Curling (CTC) machine in milling stations, machines Fluid Bed Dryer (FBD) and Heat Exchanger (HE) at the drying stations, and Winnower machines at the sortation stations.

Abstract

Buntago Zone consists of Buntok, Tanjung and Tanah Grogot is the area each other adjacent and border on the Province Central of Kalimantan, South of Kalimantan and East of Kalimantan. Buntok is “Kawasan Andalan” in Barito Regency, Tanjungis one of the Local Activity Center (PKL) support zone for “Kawasan Andalan” Kandangan in Tabalong Regency, and Tanah Grogot is Capital city of Pasir Regency is Regional Activity Center (PKW) support zone for “Kawasan Andalan: Bonsamtebajam. The development plan of Buntago is expected to become acoordinating tool and also a basic preparation for inter sectoral and inter regional development programs. The usage of this plan is also to regulate interregional potencies in order to optimalize their contribution for the development of communityeconomic welfare. Buntago zone have the prospect to be developed mutual profit together with pre-eminent commodity palm coconut and rubber. The development plan of Buntago zone divided into two scenarios. Stage 1 is the scenario for themanagement of development basics (2006-2010) and stage 2 is the scenario of development growth acceleration (2011-2015). The need of investment projected for funding this development is over 25 billion IDR. The investment needed for funding in the stage 1 is amount of 7 billion IDR, and for the stage 2 is 17 billion IDR. In order to support the development of Buntago, the government is projected to give 80% of total budget needed in the stage 1 and 60% in the stage 2, while therest will be covered by private sector.

Abstract

Indonesia is rich with diversity / germplasm aromatic plants that produce essential oils. Essential oils also called etheric oils, or oil fly. There is a non-oil export commodities are needed in various industries. The many types of Essential Oils require handling a priority scale. The method used is Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) by utilizing the expert judgement. The analysis using criteria Feasibility for SMEs, New Commodities and the New Territories, and sub-criteria Speed of Capital Returns, Market Prospects, Easy Access Resource, Value Added, and Enviroment. Based on criteria and sub-criteria results that essential oils of Jasmine (Melati), Masoyi (Masoyi) and Cubeb (Kemukus) must be prioritized to development.
