Pelaksanaan Supervisi Akademik Oleh Kepala Sekolah Dalam Upaya Pembinaan Profesionalisme Guru Di SMA Santu Petrus Pontianak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah dalam upaya pembinaan profesionalisme guru di SMA Santu Petrus Pontianak. Penelitian bersifat kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus (case study). Hasil penelitian ditemukan: 1) Perencanaan, (a) dalam melakukan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah selalu menggunakan instrument pengamatan, (b) belum semua guru mengetahui tentang jadwal dan tujuan supervisi akademik, (c) penggunaan strategi/metode sangat bervariasi dan, (d) sasaran belum terarah; 2) pelaksanaan supervisi akademik sering menggunakan teknik yang bersifat individual; 3) tindaklanjut yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah lebih banyak melalui pembinaan kelompok. Abstract: The Implementation of Academic Supervision by the Headmaster in Building the Professionalism of the Teachers in SMA Santu Petrus Pontianak. This research aims at revealing the management of the academic supervision by the headmaster in order to develop the professionalism of the teachers in SMA Santu Petrus Pontianak. This is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The findings revealed that: 1) the planning, (a) in giving the academic supervision, the headmaster always used the observation instrument, (b) not all the teachers knew about the schedule and purpose of the academic supervision, (c) various strategies/methods were used, and (d) the goal was not yet defined; 2) the implementation of the academic supervision often used the individual approach; 3) the follow-ups conducted by the headmaster were mostly through the group counseling.
