Abstract

In the midst of the development of the Jakarta city, The Betawi cultural has been slowly eroded the current globalization and modernization difficult unstoppable. The first step to preserve Betawi culture was introduced to the young generation of the Betawi culture early on. In the world of education, knowledge of the Betawi culture is already incorporated into the educational curriculum for elementary and Junior High School in subjects Education of cultural environment in Jakarta (PLBJ). In the process of analytical study to make elementary school students more interested and facilitate in learning the Betawi culture, needed learning assistive device technology-based Information that is animated by using multimedia or interactive learning applications are extremely useful as complementary media, additional, learning resources tools for teachers that can be a choice in conveying information to students. Assist the process of the transformation of knowledge becomes more clear, concise, easily, in an effort to increase interest in learning of students, as well as create a pleasant atmosphere of self-learning.Keywords: Role Of Multimedia, Learning The Betawi Culture.
