Abstract

UD. Akbar Jaya is a company engaged in the bakery industry. In carrying out a production UD. Akbar Jaya often has problems with product incompatibility with the number of requests and use of resources that have not been optimal. This is considered a waste by the company, the reason is that production planning is not optimal. With this problem, optimal production planning is needed. The de novo programming method is used to obtain optimal solutions in planning production and to obtain maximum benefits. In this study production optimization has one goal, namely, maximizing profits, with existing constraints such as constraints in the availability of raw materials, budget constraints, constraints of production capacity, and constraints of demand. The results of this study indicate the optimal amount of production that must be produced by UD. Akbar Jaya and the benefits obtained for 12 periods are as many as 14985 bread products, 9969 chocolate bread products, 4128 cappucino bread products, 1151 strawberry bread products, and the maximum profit the company gets is Rp. 7,558,250

Abstract

CV. Kotama Shoes is a trading company engaged in the production of leather shoes. The company is located on Jalan A.R. Judge No.112c / 206c. In running its business, CV. Kotama Shoes has several problems or constraints in production planning. Erratic fluctuations in demand for goods from one period to another cause a deficiency or excess production. Based on the results of data processing, the smallest MSE forecasting results for each product, namely for pantofel products, has the smallest MSE value 21495.23, the chosen method is the moving average with a 6-month moving average value, the smallest MSE product 18779.38 method the chosen ones are weighted moving average with a moving average value of 3 months, boot products with the smallest MSE 1175.47 the selected method is a moving average with a moving average of 6 months and semi boot products with the smallest MSE 4119.34 the method chosen namely the weighted moving average with a moving average of 3 months. The calculation results using linear programming with the POM for Windows software tool shows that the production costs applied by CV. Kotama Shoes is a minimum. The minimum level obtained is Rp. 37,502,700, - Production planning for pantofel products is 420 units, production planning for casual leather shoes is 309 units, demand for semi boot boot leather units is 194 units, demand for leather shoes production is 177 units boot type.

Abstract

UD.Tahu Dk 16 merupakan sebuah usaha home industry yang memproduksi tahu seperti tahu goreng dan tahu sumedang, usaha UD.Tahu Dk 16 terletak di jalan Batang Kuis, Desa Bakaran Batu Dusun III No. 100, Sumatera Utara.Pada dasarnya setiap perusahaan harus memiliki yang tepat dalam menjalankan setiap kegiatan usaha agar dapat mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan atau dicapai, begitu juga dengan usaha home industry tahu UD. Tahu Dk 16. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan bagaimana strategi yang baik untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran guna meningkatkat volume penjualan dan pengembangan pasar dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi, quisioner sebagai dasar untuk analisa SWOT (Strenghts, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) dan ANP (Analitycal Network Process). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan metode analisa SWOT (Strenghts, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) menghasilkan 5 alternatif strategi SWOT untuk industri tahu tersebut yaitu 1 strategi untuk S-O, 1 strategi untuk W- O, 2 strategi S-T dan 1 strategi untuk W-T. Sementara untuk analytical network process berdasarkan hasil nilai pembobotan yang tertinggi diperoleh dari matriks normalisasi adalah strategi 1 (promosi) sebesar 0,57. Strategi 2 (produk terbaru) sebesar 0,04. Strategi 3 (kemitraan strategis) sebesar 0,11 dan strategi 4 (segmentasi pasar) sebesar 0,25. Dari hasil analisis ANP (Analitycal Network Process) yang didapat adalah strategi atau strategi dalam melakukan promosi lebih diprioritaskan atau di utamakan ketimbang strategi lainnya.

Abstract

CV.Arga Reyhan Bahari merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufactur pembuatan paving block . besarnya jumlah produk cacat telah menjadi masalah yang cukup serius di CV. Arga Reyhan Bahari. Produk cacat menyebabkan pemborosan biaya yang cukup besar bagi perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengendalian kualitas yang baik saat proses produksi berlangsung. Dengan adanya perbaikan pada pengendalian kualitas saat proses berlangsung diharapkan jumlah produk cacat akan turun. Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum adalah untuk mengetahui hasil analisa setiap tahapan dari new seven tools. Identifikasi faktor penyebab dilakukan menggunakan new seven tools dimana metode ini merupakan alat-alat bantu yang digunakan dalam eksplorasi kualitatif meliputi beberapa tahapan yaitu affinity diagram, interrelationship diagram, tree diagram, matrix diagram, arrow diagram atau activity network diagram dan process decision program chart. Setelah dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode new seven tools maka diperoleh jumlah produksi paving block selama 1 bulan adalah 125.662 unit dan yang cacat berjumlah 3944 unit. Jenis kecacatan yang biasanya ditemukan dalam produk paving block   terdiri dari tiga jenis antara lain ialah sompel (1663), retak (1481) dan permukaan tidak rata (800). Berdasarkan kecacatan tersebut diketahui kecacatan terbesar terjadi pada jenis sompel (42,17%) kemudian retak (37,55%) dan permukaan tidak rata (20,28%). Dari hasil analisa diketahui faktor  penyebab kecacatan produk paving block meliputi manusia, mesin, metode, material dan lingkungan.

Abstract

In a warehouse facility layout design including a health clinic, the layout design of warehouse facilities and production storage areas plays a very important role, it is impossible for the manufactured goods to be distributed directly to all customers. For this reason, there is a need for a good storage area and storage system to simplify the production process. Clinic XYZ is a 24-hour public health clinic, located in a sub-district in North Sumatra, to be precise in Medan Deli District. The problem that occurs is the random arrangement of goods in the warehouse without paying attention to storage and arrangement patterns that depend on the position of the empty warehouse. Based on observations, it is known that the time span needed to look for drugs at the clinic is too long, so this will make it difficult for employees / operators to manage the products to be stored or retrieved from the drug warehouse. One of the warehouse design methods that can be used is the dedicated storage method. Dedicated storage is a method of placing a specific location or storage area for each item stored. In this study, the types of drugs were classified into drugs, solid types of drugs, semi-solid drugs, liquid drugs and gas drugs. Based on the results obtained, the number of slots needed in the drug product warehouse is 11 slots, the total floor area needed is 13.2 m2, the area needed for storing medicinal products with an alley area is 6.8 m2, the percentage of area that is not used for storage the product in the medicinal product warehouse is 34% and the diagonal length of the hand truck when carrying the box is 1.56 m.
