Abstract

The problem which is discussed in this study is how the types of myth in Banjar’s foklore are. The aim of this study is to reveal the types of myth  in Banjar’s folklore. The myth in folklore is one of old literatures  and is anonymous. Myth is not belong to an individual, but it is produced by a society. The dissemination was done from mouth to mouth. Generally myth has connection with story about miracle and has close relation with believing to the God and Goddess that has special relation in the society. Myth story can be seen in Banjar folklore, one of them is the story of Putri Junjung Buih that tell us about human who was born from the result of hermitage and foam. The method which is used in this study is descriptive qualitative. This method is a method to get information about narration in myth story deeply. The result gives description about type of myth in Banjar folklore, South Kalimantan.

Abstract

Prohibition is one of local wisdom in traditional society. It has close relation with culture that happens inthe society. Some local people have various kind of prohibitions, it can be same or different one to another.That variation is the characteristic of each place including prohibitions that live in the society, one of themis Dayak Halong. They apply how to arrange their environment wisely base on local wisdom in the form ofprohibition. Everything that has relation with local wisdom is obeyed by all of them in the form of prohibition customary law. Base on the explanation above the problem in this study is whether prohibitions are still live in the tradition of Dayak Halong society as the form of local wisdom that happens in that society. This studyuses descriptive qualitative method. This study will get a description about various kind of prohibitions ofenvironment base on local wisdom in Dayak Halong tradition society.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSIMasalah dalam penelitian ini ialah bagaimana nilai-nilai religius dalam syair nasihat. Tujuan penelitian ini akan mengungkap nilai-nilai religius dalam syair nasihat. Syair mengandung nilai-nilai yang berkenaan dengan bahasa sebagai alatnya, sastra sebagai muatan estetika/ seni, baik bentuk alurnya tulisannya maupun isinya. Syair merupakan sumber pengetahuan dan juga mengandung falsafah bangsa yang melahirkan alam pikiran yang kemudian tercermin dalam keyakinan keagamaan  yang pada gilirannya dijadikan pedoman dalam bersikap dan bertingkah laku, baik manusia sebagai individu, manusia terhadap lingkungan di sekelilingnya maupun terhadap sang pencipta alam semesta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Metode deskriptif ialah suatu metode untuk memperoleh informasi nilai-nilai religius dalam syair nasihat secara lebih terperinci. Hasil penelitian memberi gambaran tentang nilai-nilai religius dalam syair nasihat.Kata kunci: Nilai, religius, dan nasihat ABSTRACTThe problem in this study is how do the religious values in advice poem. The aim of this study is to reveal religious values in advice poem. Poem consists of values that has connection with language as its tool,  literature as its art, whether its form or its content. Poem is a source of knowledge and has nation philosophy that create mind reflected in religion. Finally it becomes guideline to behave whether human as an individual, human as God creature, or human behave to their environment. The method which is used in this study is descriptive qualitative. It is a method to get information about religious values in the advice poem deeply. The result shows description about religious values in advice poem.Key words: value, religious, advice

Abstract

Iberamsyah Barbary has a peculiarity in his work. He packages it by giving color about daily life and Indonesian taste.There is anxiety that can be seen in his work.The problem which is discussed in this study is how does the reflection form of Iberamsyah Barbary’s concern seeing modern life in his environment. This study aims to reveal the kind of reflection form of Iberamsyah Barbary’s concern about seeing modern life in his environment. As one of the literary man, he pays attention to presenting his thought through his works, for example, quatrains that have modern life nuance and have lots of massages and the first line of the quatrain. Iberamsyah Barbary’s work seems not to lecture someone but it contains entertainment aspects for the readers. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. It is a method to get information deeply about quatrain analysis by Iberamsyah Barbary through the analysis of first-line quatrain and the content. The result shows the description about the reflection form of Iberamsyah Barbary’s concern seeing modern life through quatrain

Abstract

Batimung dalam masyarakat Banjar dan Dayak Meratus lebih banyak dikenal untuk acara prosesi pernikahan dan sangat sedikit yang mengetahui bahwa batimung selain untuk kesehatan juga untuk pengobatan penyakit di antaranya penyakit wisa (hepatitis). Oleh karena itu, masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tradisi pengobatan batimung hidup dalam masyarakat Banjar dan Dayak Meratus. Tujuan penelitian ini akan enguraikan secara terperinci keberadaan batimung Banjar dan Dayak Meratus sebagai warisan tradisi nenek moyang yang telah sejak lama di Kalimantan Selatan yang berdampingan dengan budaya modern. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode deskriptif ialah suatu metode untuk memperoleh informasi tentang tata cara pengobatan batimung dalam masyarakat Banjar.  Hasil penelitian memberi gambaran tentang pengobatan batimung dalam masyarakat Banjar dan Dayak Meratus di Kalimantan Selatan. The healing tradition of Batimung in the communities of Banjar and Dayak Meratus is recognised as part of a wedding ceremony, but only few knows that this tradition is benefitted also to cure hepatitis. Thus, a research question arises regarding the continuous existence of batimung in the communities of Banjar and Dayak Meratus today. The objective of this research was to understand how batimung healing tradition coexist with modern culture. This was a descriptive-qualitative research which emphasised on observation and description on the procedure of batimung as a healing therapy. Hence, the result provided a comprehensive information on batimung hich has been practiced by the communities of Banjar and Dayak Meratus until today.
