Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has created the need and need to maintain social distance in social interactions (social distancing), quarantine, and isolation so that every vulnerable individual will not be exposed to the virus. The use of technology with online meetings for students and educators is very important, especially in the development of civic education, in order to love the Republic of Indonesia. This paper will discuss the concept and direction of civic education and the urgency of strengthening the concept and direction of progressive citizenship education online in the midst of the covid-19 virus pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive analytical with a qualitative approach. The results show, First, the concept of Citizenship Education supports the objectives of civic education, which can be interpreted as a subject that focuses on the formation of citizens who have intellectual skills, skills to participate in every civic activity and have a strong civic character so as to make citizens who are intelligent and have character. . Second, the urgency of strengthening the concept and direction of progressive citizenship education online in the midst of the covid-19 virus pandemic prepares students to become good citizens who master knowledge derived from multidisciplinary concepts and theories, practice values, and apply the skills they need to participate. in online education.

Abstract

Abstract: This study will explain the importance of the Political Education Administration Paradigm, which directs education to reflect on the dominant ideology towards socio-political transformation. Political education is education that seeks to create space to identify and analyze all the potential possessed by students freely and critically to realize the process of social transformation. The quality of education administration resulting from educational output is largely determined by the processes that occur in educational interactions. The whole process and method in education is based on the objectives to be achieved from the education. While the goals of education are determined based on the choice of paradigm that is used as the basis for education. From these assumptions, it can be seen how the paradigm in education is something that is fundamental and determines the results of education. Abstract

Media institutions are internally grouped based on their technology type, such as print media institutions, film institutions, television institutions, and so on. Often these institutions are also grouped according to their respective types, for example local broadcasting press, national broadcasting press, and international broadcasting press. Or grouping local print media institutions, national print media institutions, or international print media institutions. To anticipate regional differences, it is not uncommon for media institutions to change the time excess and the time difference between one country and another. The internal grouping of media institutions is also grouped based on the characteristics of the writings and features they present on the mass media they produce. Different types of features and writings produced by the mass media are trying to be presented to readers, viewers, or listeners through the central activity in the production and distribution of knowledge of this media institution through information, ideas, and culture. This step is carried out in order to communicate the messages to be conveyed using a personal or group approach. The goal is to provide a response to the communicant to meet personal needs or group needs.
