Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of village government organizational commitment, internal control system, and the use of information technology on village financial management accountability (empirical study in villages throughout Jepara Regency). The research method used is a quantitative research method with primary data obtained from questionnaires measured using a Likert scale. The population in this study were villages in the local government area of ​​Jepara Regency, totaling 184 villages from 16 sub-districts. The sampling method in this study was using probability sampling in the form of simple random sampling. Determination of the number of samples in this study was carried out using a statistical method in the form of the Slovin formula. The results of this study state that partially the organizational commitment of the village government does not affect the accountability of village financial management, partially the internal control system has a positive effect on the accountability of village financial management, partially the use of information technology has an effect on positive to the accountability of village financial management, and simultaneously the commitment of village government organizations to the internal control system, and the use of information technology have a positive effect on village financial management accountability.

Abstract

Retail stores in the Mertoyudan area, which are sponsored by the Sampoerna Ritel Community (SRC) have experienced a continuous decline in sales. The SRC chairman confirmed the decline was due to many complaints from consumers who did not get the goods they were looking for. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The data used is primary data. The population in this study were customers of the SRC retail store in Mertoyudan, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. Data analysis technique using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS SEM) and processed using Smart PLS software. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the marketing mix variable has a negative and insignificant effect on marketing performance. Assortment and customer demographics have a real or significant influence on marketing performance. Assortment has a no mediation role on the relationship between the marketing mix and marketing performance. Assortment has a partial mediation role in the relationship between customer demographics and marketing performance.

Abstract

This article aims to conceptually describe the relationship between the importance of gender equality in economy. By using theoretical foundations in Production Function: Theory Development, the results showed that good economic activities must promote gender equality through various means, such as economic development, expanding job opportunities, increasing worker productivity, and urging a new job market. This growth can eliminate economic inefficiencies and increase women's and men's economic involvement. As income increases, the gender gap in health, learning, and nutrition tends to decrease.

Abstract

Household consumption is expenditure that it is allocated to physical and spiritual needs of life. The average expenditure of resident of Demak Regency is lower than the average expenditure of people of Cenral Java. This low rate consumption has implications on the number of pre-prosperous family. This research aims to analyze the consumption pattern and the factors that affect household consumption of rice and crops farmers in Demak Regency. The analysis of consumption pattern uses descriptive analysis and it is equipped with cross-tabulations of the data respondents while the analysis to determine the factors affect the consumption uses regression analysis. This research used 99 samples of household in eight districts in Demak Regency. The result showed that household consumption of rice and crops farmers is still dominated by food consumption. The average food consumption cost is Rp 9.621.657,00 per year. The factors affect household consumption of rice and crops farmer are income,  family member that live together in one place, and the use of credit. Education variable doesn’t significantly affect household consumption of rice and crops farmer.

Abstract

In central java become widespread corruption in all sector of the local budget,infrastructure, social assistance and education. This study aimed to analyze the effect of GDP percapita, population of women who work, literacy rates and local taxes to corruption in Central JavaProvince. The data used are secondary data. Secondary data were obtained from the CentralBureau of Statistics and the Commission for the Eradication of Corruption,Collusion andNepotism (KP2KKN) in Central Java Province. The analysis tool used is multiple regression withSPSS 16.0.The results showed that of the four independent variables, only two variables weresignificantly positive effect on the GDP per capita corruption and local taxes, whereas no effectwas the women who work and literacy rates.

Abstract

Semarang is the capital of Central Java Province has the function as the center of government, commerce, industry, transportation, education, tourism and settlement. With these functions, Semarang has the potential to grow into a modern market businesses. The rapid development of modern markets in the Semarang city especially in Banyumanik district, become the reason of conducting this research.The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of convenience, distance, product diversification, and price for traditional traders’ profits as a result of the emergence of modern markets.Variables used include Convenience, Distance, Product Diversification and Price. Analysis used was Double Linier Regression in SPSS program with a sample of 72 respondents, using sampling technique Proportional Random Sampling.The results of analysis show that there are significant differences in the distance and product diversification which will impact on profits for the traditional traders; on the other hand there is no significant difference for the convenience and price to business profits in the traditional market traders in district Banyumanik of Semarang.

Abstract

Fiscal decentralization was held since 2001 is purpose to give more capacity of public service that government do for people. This research is purpose to see the effect of fiscal decentralization to outcomes of public service in education sector. This research path analysis that use output variable as intervening and want to see the direct and in direct effect of fiscal decentralization to outcomes of education sector. And finally it can take the better policy to repair the result of public service from the output until the outcome.This research use panel data from six city and residence in Jakarta in 2006 until 2010. The method to get the result of this research is use path analysis approach to find the direct and in direct effect of fiscal decentralization to output and outcome of education sector of public service.The result of this research shows that fiscal decentralization have better effect for outcome of education sector of public service in that direct effect. Fiscal decentralization has positive effect to graduation rate in high school and vocational school. If fiscal decentralization increase one percent graduation rate rise up to 0.008 percent, but graduation rate have no significant effect for outcomes of education. Fiscal decentralization has positive effect in level of drop out of high school and vocational school, if fiscal decentralization increase one percent drop out level will be increase 0.547 percent, so fiscal decentralization not give better effect in drop out level yet as expected.

Abstract

ABSTRACTArea of the city as a growth center or community center supposed to be more advanced in the region's economy, infrastructure, and also natural and human resources. In fact, the results of the level of competitiveness some of city regions in Central Java tends to be lower when compared to the district. This study aims to determine how the level of competitiveness of city regions in Central Java and the potential of what is contained by each of these areas.The study used the competitiveness analysis method, which calculates scores and the index during the period 2009-2011. Type of data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in Central Java, PLN Ltd. Company distribution Central Java, and other literature such as books, and economic journals.The results of the level of competitiveness of city regions in Central Java, among others Semarang get first rank at the level of competitiveness of city regions in Central Java from 2009 to 2011. While Tegal has lowest ranks in 2009 and 2011, and the lowest ranked is Magelang in 2010. Potential Semarang win on almost all indicators of competitiveness. The more winning potential of a region, the higher the level of competitiveness of the city region.

Abstract

Implementation of the regional autonomy through fiscal decentralization is expected to improve the quality of public services. Health and education Outcomes is one measure that can be used to view the quality of public services. Health Outcomes can be seen through the toddler mortality rate (AKABA), whereas educational outcomes can be seen through pure participation rate (APM) SD/MI. This study aims to examine empirically the influence of fiscal decentralization to the toddler mortality rate (AKABA) and pure participation rate (APM) SD/MI in counties/cities Central Java Province. The type of data in this research is panel data using analysis methods with the approach of the fixed effect model (FEM). Panel data in this study covers 35 counties/cities in Central Java province, in the period 2007 to 2010. The result of this study shows that the fiscal decentralization had significantly negative impact on toddler mortality rate and significant positive to pure participation rate SD/MI. Fiscal decentralization is able to reduce the toddler mortality rate as much as 31,8 per 1.000 live births, increase pure participation rate SD/MI as much as 0.05 percent every 1 percent increase in the degree of fiscal decentralization.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The expected goal in this study was to analyze the relationship Household characteristics,community factors, the characteristics of poverty in Sub Gunungpati Semarang. The population in this study were all located Households in the District for 14.579 households Gunungpati. The research was conducted using a sample of 100 persons / respondents. The sampling technique used in this study Purposive sampling technique is based on community or population that can be found by chance in 16 villages in the district Gunungpati. The results suggest that the relationship variable of household characteristics, community factors or characteristics of the region has influence in poverty. While relations simultaneously or jointly variable factors of household characteristics, community factors and characteristics of the region has influence on poverty. So the increase in household characteristics, community factors and characteristics of the region together can affect poverty in the District Gunungpati Semarang.
