Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of labor force participation in Merauke Regency by gender. The type of data in this study is data obtained from the statistical center of Merauke district with the period of 2017-2018. The method used in this study is the method of data processing using coding or data (coding) and editing. While the analysis of labor force participation rates uses the formula of labor force participation rate (TPAK). The results of this study were obtained, the level of labor force participation by sex in Merauke Regency was dominated by male workers, where the rate of male labor force participation in 2017 was 81.69%, while for women it was 43.92%. Whereas for 2018 TPAK for men was 82.53% and for Women was 55.48%. Keywords: Participation in Work Force

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of motivation and social capital on agriculturalcredit decision making. The sample used is the Proportional Random Sampling method, data analysisusing binary logistic regression. The results showed that motivation (X1) and social capital (X2) witha significant level of 95%, influenced the decision of agricultural credit loans with significant valuesof 0.027 and 0.004. Motivated farmers, 3155 times higher in decisions about getting agriculturalcredit loans from other farmers. Farmers who have social capital are 4,231 times higher in decisionsabout getting agricultural credit loans from other farmers. Based on the results, financial institutionsthat facilitate agricultural credit loans can provide the best service by disseminating agricultural loansdirectly to individual or farmer groups.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the amount of income earned by Wamena mamas in the Wamanggu market The populatin in this study is a fruit and vegetable selling business (mama-mama wamena) in the Wamanggu market, which is 20 businesses and the sample 20 respondents. The method used is income analysis. The method consists of analysis of operating income and analysis of revenue cost ratio (R/C). The result of this study indicate that the income of the fruit and vegetable sales business (mama-mama wamena) in the wamanggu market is profitable, with an average profit for the fruit and vegetable selling business (wamena mama-mama) which is Rp. 7,956,443, per month. The results of the revenue cost retio analysis in the Wamanggu market are profitable with an average R/C value for fruit and vegetable sales (mama-mama wamena) in the Wamanggu market, which is 3.
