Abstract

Latar Belakang: Perilaku bullying yang dilakukan oleh remaja di Indonesia masih menjadisalah satu masalah yang belum teratasi. Tingginya angka kejadian bullying pada remaja memberikan dampak negatif bagi remaja seperti gangguan konsentrasi belajar, penurunan prestasi akademik, harga diri rendah, depresi, bahkan sampai keinginan remaja untuk bunuh diri.Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perilaku bullying pada remaja di Yogyakarta.Metodologi: Penelitianan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Partisipan dalam penelitian berjumalah 14 orang yang terdiri dari orang tua, remaja, dan guru yang ditentukan dengan purposive sampling. Keabsahan data dilakukan menggunakan triangulasi metode, sumber, dan peer debriefing. Analisis data menggunakan open code 4.02.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada beberapa jenis bullying yang dilakukan remaja di Yogyakarta diantaranya bullying verbal seperti mengejek dan memberikan julukan tidak baik kepada teman. Bullying fisik seperti memukul, menendang, menjambak dan mencubit, kemudian ada juga bullying relasional seperti mengucilkan, mengintimidasi, dan mempermalukan teman di sekolah, serta cyberbullying seperti berkomentar kasar pada media sosial, mengupload foto, dan mengupdate instastory. Perilaku bullying pada remaja tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti ajakan teman, keadaan lingkungan di sekitar remaja, riwayat bullying, pengaruh media elektronik dan karakter sasaran serta pelaku bullying.Kesimpulan: Perilaku bullying pada remaja memberikan dampak negatif baik pada pelaku maupun korbannya sehingga membutuhkan perhatian lebih baik bagi pemerintah, sekolah maupun orang tua. Dalam penelitian ini menemukan berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku bullying pada remaja, namun belum bisa mengetahui faktor apa yang paling dominan sehingga diperlukan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode lain untuk mengindentifikasi hal tersebut.Kata Kunci: Perilaku Bullying, Remaja, Yogyakarta

Abstract

Smoking is one of the problems in society that is diicult to be resolved. In 2011, 6 million deaths each year are caused by smoking. The number of smokers in Indonesia continues to grow which is dominated by the age of 15 years and above. To overcome these problems, the government issued a policy of banning smoking in the learning process places. UMY is one of the places that have already implemented smoke-free campus since 2011, however there are people who still smoke in the campus.The purpose of this study was to determine how the students’ attitude of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta toward a smoke-free campus policy. This studywasaqualitativeresearchwithphenomenological approach. The data was taken using the disccusion focus groups, depth interviews and observation. Participants in this study were determined by purposive sampling which were 20 participants consisting of students and campus employees in UMY. The validity of the data in this study was done by using triangulation, triangulation methods and peer debrieing. Data analysis by using the soft ware open code version 4.2. The results indicated that the students who were active smokers agreed and disagreed on KBBR, nevertheless there are diferences in attitudes related to compliance with these rules. Students who were active smokers who agreed to KBBR supported and there were students who did not support the KBBR. But students who were active smokers that did not agree to KBBR did not support the implementation of KBBR on campus. Unlike the students who were active smokers, passive smokers students all agreed and supported KBBR in UMY. By that attitude, UMY needs to increase their knowledge and socialization of KBBR to the students, therefore the students are able to increase the positive attitude towards KBBR in order to create a clean and smoke-free campus.Keywords: Attitude, KBBR, UMY

Abstract

Background: Phenomena of bullying for adolescents in Indonesia require a serious concern from the government, schools and parents. A high number of bullying incidents on adolescents can have negative impact physically and psychologically for actors and victims. Adolescent responses on bullying can be indicated as self-defence of a victim when being bullied.Objective: This research aimed to identify adolescent responses on bullying and its impacts for the adolescents in Yogyakarta.Methods: This study used a qualitative method of phenomenology. Data in this study were collected through observation and in-depth interviews. Participants included in this study were 14 people who consists of parents, adolescents, and teachers, and they were determined by purposive sampling. Validating of the data was conducted by using methodological triangulation, data triangulation and peer debriefing. Thematic data analysis was conducted by using the open code software 4.02.Results: This study found that the responses of adolescents to the bullying included resistance, avoidance, silence, and fear. Then impacts of the bullying could make the victims have avoidant personality disorder or shift them as actors. For actors, they would feared by his friend at school and get punishment from the school.Conclusion: Prevention of bullying of adolescents is urgently needed to overcome the impacts for the adolescents. The results of this study could be used as basic data to deal with bullying of the adolescents.

Abstract

Background: A large number of bullying cases occurred on adolescents in boarding schools can impact on physical and psychological conditions that make them inconvenient in their schools and boarding schools. Boarding schools are more prone of bullying incidents than public schools because their students interact each other more often, either in their schools or dorms. Objective: This study aims to observe bullying behaviour of adolescents in a boarding school in Yogyakarta.Methods: This study was a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Its data collection technique was conducted by interviewing. There were 11 participants in this study consisting of eight adolescents and three boarding school teachers who were determined by a purposive sampling. To validating its data, this study used a source triangulation, peer debriefing, and thick description. Then, its data analysis applied the Open Code 4.03. Results: This study showed that bullying behaviour occurred in the boarding school were physical bullying, verbal bullying and relational bullying. Factors that contributed for the bullying behaviour were physical forms, social intercourses of adolescent, emotional attitudes, histories of bullying, seniority, and bullying punishment that are applied ineffectively. Responding to the bullying incidents, the boarding school made policies by making rules about bullying, intervening by advice, applying school punishment, and initiating preventative effortsConclusion: Bullying behaviour of the adolescent occurred in the boarding school includes physical bullying, verbal bullying, and relational bullying that requires attention from all parties, including schools. Schools are expected to provide socialization related to the bullying and to cooperate with all school members to prevent repetitive incidents of bullying.

Abstract

Remaja sebagai generasi penerus bangsa pada masa depan memiliki hak untuk tumbuh dan berkembang secara optimal, terjamin kelangsungan hidupnya, bebas dari tindakan diskriminasi dan perlakuan yang salah, termasuk terlindungi dari berbagai masalah kesehatan. Masalah kesehatan pada kelompok ini terutama disebabkan oleh kecenderungan untuk perilaku yang berisiko. Hasil pengkajian yang dilakukan dengan remaja di Dusun Jipangan didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat beberapa remaja yang melakukan perilaku menyimpang, seperti merokok, minum minuman berakohol, penyalahgunaan napza, dan terdapat beberapa remaja putri yang mengalami kehamilan di luar nikah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh belum adanya sebuah program untuk mengatasi masalah kesehatan pada remaja, sehingga perlu diadakan sebuah kegiatan untuk remaja agar dapat meningkatkan status kesehatan remaja. Solusi yang ditawarkan pada permasalahan ini adalah kegiatan berupa pembentukan kegiatan posyandu remaja di Dusun Jipangan. Pembentukan posyandu remaja diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah untuk memfasilitasi remaja dalam memahami permasalahan kesehatan remaja, menemukan alternatif pemecahan masalah, membentuk kelompok dukungan remaja, dan memperluas akses pelayanan kesehatan pada remaja. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, di antaranya perencanaan awal kegiatan yang dilakukan dengan mengadakan penjajakan terkait permasalahan yang ada di wilayah mitra dan mengindentifikasi sumber daya yang ada di masyarakat untuk kegiatan pemberdayaan. Selanjutkan, dilaksanakan sarasehan dan jajak pendapat bersama dengan tokoh masyarakat dan remaja terkait komitmen pembuatan program yang diikuti dengan pemilihan pengurus dan kader remaja. Kegiatan selanjutnya adalah pelatihan kader posyandu remaja. Dalam kegiatan ini, kader dilatih mengenai sistem 5 meja posyandu remaja. Langkah selanjutnya adalah launching posyandu remaja dengan sasaran semua remaja di wilayah Dusun Jipangan dan dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan kegiatan posyandu remaja secara berkala. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bekerja sama dengan pihak Puskesmas Kasihan I sebagai pembina kegiatan dan memfasilitasi pelaksanaan pemeriksaan kesehatan dan pengobatan. Program pemberdayaan ini diharapkan dapat berlanjut sebagai upaya kesehatan berbasis masyarakat yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan kesehatan remaja di wilayah Dusun Jipangan
