Sukabumi, Kota Sukabumi,Jawa Barat 431221e-mail: saridefia@ymail.comABSTRAKPola asuh merupakan cara yang digunakan orang tua dalam mencoba berbagai strategi untukmendorong anak mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan.Pola asuh merupakan pencerminan tingkah lakuorang tua yang diterapkan kepada anak.Hal tersebut berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar disekolah, terutama pada anak usia Sekolah Dasar.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuihubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenispenelitian korelasional melalui pendekatan crossectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah ibuyang memiliki anak usia sekolah dasar kelas II dan III di SDN Ibu Dewi V sebanyak 98 ibudengan teknik pengambilan aksidental sampling.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagianbesar orang tua melakukan pola asuh demokratis 35%, gabungan 28%, permisif 19% dan otoriter18%, sedangkan untuk prestasi belajar anak baik sekali 37%, baik 48%, dan cukup 15%. Analisahipotesis menggunakanChi Square p-value 0,011.Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada hubunganantara pola asuh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar anak. Maka disarankan kepada PuskesmasCianjur Kota untuk meningkatkan pembinaan bagi pihak sekolah tentang pola asuh yang baik dankepada SDN Ibu dewi V diharapkan dapat melakukan konseling dengan orang tua agarmenentukan pola asuh yang baik.Kata kunci: Pola asuh, prestasi belajar, sekolah dasar.ABSTRACTParenting is the way in which parents in trying various strategies to encourage children to achievethe desired objectives. Parenting is a reflection of the behavior of parents who applied to children.This effect on learning achievement in schools, especially at primary school age children.Thisstudy aims to determine the relationship of parenting parents with learning achievement ofchildren. This research uses a correlational study with cross sectional approach. The sample inthis study were mothers who have children of primary school age class II and III in SDN Ibu DewiV with 98 mothers taking technique accidental sampling.The results showed that most parents dodemocratic upbringing 35%, a combined 28%, 19% permissive and authoritarian 18% while forthe learning achievement of children excellent 37%, good 48%, and as little as 15%. Chi Squareanalysis menggunaka hypothesis p-value of 0.011. The results showed no relationship betweenparenting parents with learning achievement of children. It is advisable to Cianjur City HealthCenter to improve guidance for the school to be on good parenting and the mother goddess V SDNexpected to do counseling with parents to determine good parenting.Keywords: Parenting style, academic achievement, elementary

Abstract

Thalassemia is a chronic disease in children that affects the quality of life. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and the quality of life of school-age children with thalassemia. School age children are children aged 6-12 years. Thalassemia is a blood disorder caused by genetic factors. Family support is a form of encouragement, assistance received by individuals from parents or family members. Quality of life is an individual's perception of his position in life. Types of correlational research. The population of all school-age children who suffer from thalassemia with a sample of 45 respondents. Sampling uses total sampling. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. Bivariate analysis using Fisher's exact test. The results showed that most of them had good family support and had a good quality of life. Fisher's exact test results obtained p-value = 0.027. The conclusion shows that there is a relationship between family support and the quality of life of school-age children with thalassemia. It is hoped that Bhayangkara Hospital can maintain and motivate families regarding the importance of family support through health education.
