Abstract

Pupuk NPK mempunyai peranan penting untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman serta hasil umbi bawang merah. Salah satu cara memperbaiki hasil dan kualitas umbi bawang merah, yaitu dengan aplikasi pupuk NPK 15-15-15 dan pupuk hayati Trichoderma. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kombinasi aplikasi pupuk NPK 15-15-15 dan pupuk hayati Trichoderma sp yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan hasil dan kualitas umbi bawang merah. Penelitian dilakukan di bawah naungan plastik Balai Penelitian Tanaman sayuran, Lembang (1.250 m dpl) dari Juli – Oktober 2012. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 3x3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor I adalah dosis pupuk NPK 15-15-15 yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu: 0 kg/ha, 250 kg/ha dan 500 kg/ha. Faktor II adalah pupuk hayati yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu: Trichoderma, Trichoderma + Aspergillus dan Trichoderma+ Penicillum, masing-masing dengan dosis 1010. Parameter yang diamati meliputi; tinggi tanaman, luas daun, dan bobot kering tanaman 40 hst, analisis tanaman pada 40 hst (kandungan unsur hara N, P, dan K tanaman), hasil umbi benih saat panen (jumlah umbi anakan, bobot individu umbi, bobot umbi per tanaman dan bobot umbi total), kandungan bahan kering umbi saat dipanen, analisis bobot akar (segar) bobot akar kering setelah umbi dipanen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pupuk NPK 15-15-15 dosis 250 kg/ha yang dikombinasikan dengan pupuk hayati Trichoderma + Aspergillus meningkatkan persentase akar bawang merah dengan bobot kering akar bawang merah tertinggi  didapat pada perlakuan aplikasi NPK 15-15-15 dosis 250 kg/ha + pupuk hayati Trichoderma yakni 13,67. Hasil umbi bawang merah nyata meningkat dengan aplikasi pupuk hayati Trichoderma, yaitu bobot individu umbi (8,58 g), bobot umbi per rumpun tanaman (40,97 g/tanaman) dan bobot total umbi (10,24 t/ha)..

Abstract

The experiment was conducted in Experimental Research Station of Indonesian Institute for Vegetable Research (IIVR) at Cikole, Lembang city, West Bandung in September to December 2015. The research area was located in 1250 m above sea level with the type of soil is Andosol, and type of climate is B (Wet). The objective of this experiment was to find out the effect of plant spacing on the growth and the quality of potato seed (Solanum tuberosum L. var granola) of the first generation (G1). The experiment was arranged in a randomized block design (RBD) with a single factor. The treatment was 4 types of plant spacing: A1 (5 cm x 5 cm), A2 (6 cm x 6 cm), A3 (7 cm x 7 cm) and A4 (8 cm x 8 cm). The result showed that the plant spacing was significantly affecting on plant height and plant canopy at 21 days after planting (DAP), and percentage of germination at 63 DAP. It was determined that A1 plant spacing (5cm x 5cm) provide the highest plant (15.11 cm) and highest plant canopy (10.40 cm) at 21 DAP, and A4 plant spacing (8cm x 8cm) present the highest of a percentage of germination (27,34%).

Abstract

Oyster mushroom was a prospective vegetable commodity and has high economical value. The aim of this research was to find out oyster mushroom varieties that could be adapted in Bogor – West Java, and produced high yield and quality when cultivated both in the dry and rainy seasons. A Randomized Block Design with 4 replications were set up in mushroom houses during the dry and the rainy seasons. Treatments comprised of 6 varieties of oyster mushrooms, viz: varieties No. 1; 30; 37; 38; 46 (origin from IVEGRI’s collection) and No. 85 (origin from Bogor as control variety). The result showed that varieties and planting seasons has significantly effect on growth of oyster mushroom. However varieties has no significantly effect on yield of mushroom which was in average 55-91 ton/1000 m2 of mushrooms house area. Fresh yield of mushroom planted in dry season (91.3 ton) was significantly higher than those in wet season (61.7 ton). Varieties has significantly effect of mushroom quality, meanwhile seasons gave a same good quality with delicious/ ranking <3, storage resistance up to 2 days at room temperature and water content >90 %. Keywords: Planting season, Pleurotus ostreatus, growth, yield, quality
