Abstract

The curriculum and learning are two things that can not be separated. As a plan or program, the curriculum will not be meaningful when it is not implemented in the form of learning. And vice versa, without a clear curriculum as a reference, then learning will not take place effectively (Sanjaya: 2009). What is described in the curriculum should provide clues to the learning process in the classroom; And what happens in the classroom is an input that can be taken into consideration in the improvement of the curriculum. Elementary School Islam (SDI) Surya Buana Malang one of the primary schools in the city of Malang that has a different character from another school Dinas. This study aims to find out and describe what the concept of natural school in SD Surya Buana Malang and how its implementation in realizing the character education of elementary school students. The research method used is qualitative research method. This study used a qualitative approach with an observational case study research design related to the concept of curriculum development of SDI Bilingual School SDI Surya Buana Malang. Data collection techniques are (1) in-depth interview (2) participant observation and (3) documentation study. Data analysis used in this research: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The result of the research shows that Islamic elementary school of SDI Surya Buana Malang apply curriculum of Diknas by applying the concept of the curriculum of natural school "Triple R", and in developing the character of SDI Surya Buana Malang students using liaison book between teacher and parents.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana aktualisasi pendidikan karakter mahasiswa pada proses perkuliahan mata kuliah pendidikan agama Islam dan matakuliah etika dan budi pekerti dan strategi dosen dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam proses perkuliahan guna mengembangkan pola pikir mahasiswa sebagai konsep revolusi mental. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, Instrumen yang digunakan ada 3 yaitu lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara dan angket, di olah dengan teknik triangulasi data. menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara mendalam diperoleh hasil 1).karakter jujur; nilai religius, tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, ketertiban, kerapian, kebersihan, dan kesopanan. 2).karakter cerdas; rasa ingin tau, gemar membaca. 3).karakter peduli; cinta damai, bersahabat, komunikatif, peduli sosial, dan toleransi. 4).karakter kerja keras; mandiri, menghargai prestasi, 5).karakter merdeka; demokrasi, suatu peningkatan yang signifikan pada kebiasaan atau sikap yang selalu berkarakter baik. Strategi dosen pengampu melibatkan mahasiswa dalam membuat kontrak kuliah, sampai pada penggunaan metode dan media guna pengembangan karakter mahasiswa.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted due to the limitation of independent instructional media for students that is based on the curriculum as a companion to mathematics textbooks. Where the textbooks do not connect mathematics with local culture, so that students are less familiar with their culture.  This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective module for two-dimensional course based on ethnomathematics for fourth grade students of elementary school. The model employed in this development research was 4D model proposed by Thiagarajan that consisted of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The data analysis was done by using descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results of this development showed that the module for two-dimensional course based ethnomathematics was valid and feasible; it was stated by the average score obtained from the experts (87.6%). Furthermore, the module developed obtained a positive response from the teacher and students; it obtained an average score of 88.5%. Then, the module was effective to improve student understanding, it obtained an average score of 81.55. Therefore, the module for two-dimensional course based on ethnomathematics is valid, practical, and effective to be used in the learning process.Keywords: two-dimensional shapes, ethnomathematics, developing module.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi perlu adanya bahan ajar mandiri berupa modul siswa yang sesuai dengan kurikulum sebagai pendamping buku pelajaran matematika. Di mana buku pelajaran matematika yang digunakan kurang menghubungkan matematika dengan budaya lokal, sehingga siswa kurang mengenal budaya yang ada di daerah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan modul bangun datar berbasis etnomatematika untuk siswa kelas 4 sekolah dasar yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model 4D dari Thiagarajan yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop), dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul bangun datar berbasis etnomatematika dinyatakan valid oleh para ahli dengan skor rata-rata 87,6%. Penggunaan modul mendapatkan respon yang positif dari guru dan siswa yaitu menunjukkan rata-rata 88,5%. Dengan menggunakan modul tersebut, pemahaman siswa menjadi meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 81,55. Sehingga modul bangun datar berbasis etnomatematika praktis dan efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika.Kata kunci: bangun datar, etnomatematika, pengembangan modul.

Abstract

AbstrakProses pembelajaran di SD/MI telah menggunakan kurikulum 2013 namun belum didukung bahan ajar berupa printed text selain buku dari pemerintah dan LKS yang mengedepankan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul tematik integratif dengan pendekatan kurikulum 2013 berbasis character building pada tema 9 subtema 3. Modul dikembangkan menggunakan Model Borg and Gall, dengan 10 langkah namunpeneliti hanya menggunakan 5 langkah. Uji validasi dengan ahli materi, bahasa dan media. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 orang guru SD dan 10 siswa SD kelas 4. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian modul layak digunakan, berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi memperoleh skor 88,51%, ahli bahasa 88,89%, ahli media 94,44% dan peer reviewer 79,41%. Modul praktis digunakan dengan perolehan skor 91,72%, dan efektif digunakan dengan perolehan skor rata-rata 83,75%. Diharapkan untuk pengguna modul tematik-integratif berbasis character building dapat dijadikan sebagai penunjang bahan ajar. AbstractThe learning process in grade 4 using the 2013 curriculum has not been supported by teaching materials in the form of other printed texts from books and worksheets which prioritize characters. This study aims to develop an integrated thematic module with a 2013 curriculum approach based on the character of the building, and the feasibility of theme 9 sub-theme 3. The module using the Model Borg and Gall learning design model, 10 steps but researcher using only 5 steps. Validation test with material, language and media experts. The trial subjects in this study were 1 elementary school teacher and 10 elementary school grade 4 students. Data writing techniques used questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use quantitative data and qualitative data.The results showed that the module, based on assessment, scores 88.51%, language experts 88.89%, expert media 94.44% and 79.41% peer reviewers. General module with a score of 91.72%, and can be used with an average score of 83.75%. It is expected that userof thematicintegrative modules can support teaching materials.

Abstract

BSM assists the Malang City Government in fostering, training and assisting the people of Malang City who are incorporated in BSM customers in 3R (Reuse, Reduse, Recycle) waste management from household sources. The BSM unit was established which was strengthened from the SK of the Central BSM in Malang, and not the personal owner or RT / RW. The issues that are prioritized in the PKM (community partnership program) activities are the target audience of economically unproductive community partners, namely the BST (Waste Bank Tirtarona) and BSM (Community Waste Bank) partners. The two partners whose initial existence was productive but which are still not optimal and have not been utilized according to the objectives of BSM. The purpose of the community waste management partnership program in the kecamatan area. lowokwaru Malang City to optimize waste management productivity according to the purpose of the establishment of the Waste Bank organization in creating peace, and comfort in community life. Specific targets to be achieved empower RT / RW waste managers as partners of Malang City BSM in managing / managing waste independently. Starting from receiving garbage, sorting, administering, weighing, processing up to the reporting stage as a form of BSM organizational evaluation to be able to contribute to its environment. The method used is the dissemination of the benefits of BSM waste management, activating the BSM work program by inviting the management with training and mentoring activities, comparative studies, helping waste production equipment and assisting in the renovation of BSM buildings. The results of the implementation of the community partnership program were found; 1). BSM Unit management model that is centralized, meaning that all activities are still based on the RT / RW chairman's instructions in the local environment. The Chairperson of BSM works on the recommendation of the chairman of the PKK RW driving team where the land is established by BSM. 2) the condition of the human resources of the majority BSM management from the age of 60 and above, thus influencing the performance in carrying out the BSM work program. 3). BSM community conditions are in urban areas whose activities are busy working, so that they often become obstacles for the organizers to carry out social activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain dan materi buku karakter anak berbasis Contextual Taching Learning yang layak dan valid digunakan untuk mendukung pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan budi pekerti di Sekolah Dasar kelas II. Buku karakter yang dikembangkan ini belum ditemui di sekolah dasar karena mengintegrasikan antara materi dengan konsep CTL (contextual, teaching and learning) yang sesuai dengan karakter siswa kelas II SD, prosedur pengembangan buku karakter ini yaitu: (1) penelitian/studi pendahuluan dan pengumpulan data, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan draf produk, (4) uji coba lapangan awal atau dalam penelitian ini merupakan uji validasi oleh ahli, (5) merevisi hasil uji coba lapangan awal, (6) uji coba lapangan utama atau dalam penelitian ini adalah uji coba skala kecil, (7) merevisi produk hasil uji lapangan utama, (8) uji pelaksanaan lapangan atau dalam penelitian ini adalah uji coba lapangan/ kelas, dan (9) revisi produk akhir. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Hasil dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kevalidan dari segi materi dan desain. Segi validasi materi diperoleh prosentase 84,5 % dan dari segi desain 86,5 %, dalam kategori sangat valid. Buku karakter ini diperlukan guna mengasah kemampuan anak sesuai usia sekolah dasar, dan untuk guru PAI dan Budi Pekerti supaya menanamkan konsep nilai agama sebagai pondasi karakter baik anak dalam setiap pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product in the form of a 4C-based Thematic Module through a Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) Approach Class 3 Subtema 3 that is feasible and practical. This research is a type of product-oriented development research. The model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) which is modified from 5 stages to 4 stages. Validation was carried out by module experts as well as material and language experts, practicality by teachers and field trials were limited to 8 students of SDN 3 Srigonco. The results of the study were 91% of module experts, 91% of material and  language experts, which meant "very valid", 88% of practicality from teachers and 88% of students' meaning "very good". It is hoped that further research can develop this product by adding learning and subthemes and testing its effectiveness to improve student learning outcomes.Keywords: Thematic Module, 4C, CTLÂ
