Abstract

Research has been conducted on applying project-based learning (PjBL) through the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) approach during the pandemic. Tests were given to 30 first-year students conducted by Distance Learning (DL). The research method used a pre-post experimental one-group design. The results showed a minimum pretest score of 50 and a maximum value of 70. After being treated, the minimum posttest result was 75, and the maximum result was 90. There was a significant difference of 60 for the average pretest and posttest from the average pretest and posttest. The average posttest is 79.

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service activity is to develop youth groups economically and socially and to improve skills in screen printing entrepreneurship for youth in Karang Taruna, Pasanggrahan Village, Ujung Berung District, Bandung City. The methods in this activity are: 1) Material Preparation, 2) Material Counseling, 3) Group Distribution, 4) Screen Printing Training, 5) Screen Printing Practice Implementation. The expected output targets in this Community Service program are expected to increase the interest of the youth of Karang Taruna, Psanggrahan Village, Ujung Berung Subdistrict, Bandung City to increase income with independent businesses through screen printing entrepreneurs. enthusiastic and received a positive response and participants became more motivated to innovate and provide solutions for participants to start new businesses, reduce unemployment and also to improve the family economy

Abstract

This study examines the influence of government support, professional development programs, and school committee participation on teacher performance in East Java, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 230 teachers and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results reveal that government support has the strongest positive effect on teacher performance, followed by professional development programs and school committee participation. Together, these factors explain 57.7% of the variance in teacher performance. The findings highlight the importance of comprehensive strategies to improve teacher performance, emphasizing the need for strong government policies, continuous professional development, and active community involvement. The study provides valuable insights for policymakers and educational leaders seeking to enhance the quality of education through improved teacher performance.
