Abstract

Menulis adalah suatu aktivitas komunikasi yang menjadi alternatif setelah komunikasi lisan.  Menulis menjadi bahasa komunikasi  yang tidak dibatasi ruang dan waktu.  Setiap saat, dimana saja, dan siapa saja bisa menggunakan bahasa tulis ini untuk berbagai kepentingan.  Penulisan ini mengangkat tema tentang penulisan karya tulis, dimana hal yang akan dilihat adalah strategi penulisan yang dilakukan para pustakawan pada PTKIN  yang disimpulkan dalam satu bentuk  metode.   Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus.  Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa strategi menulis pustakawan dimulai dari pengumpulan ide (Idea), memetakan pokok  pikiran (Mind mapping), membuat draft tulisan (Drafting), melakukan aksi menulis (Action), dan membaca kembali, dan menyempurnakan setelah semua selesai ditulis (Read and edit).

Abstract

Informasi pada masa perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi era sekarang ini seperti tidak terbendung produktivitasnya, tidak terkecuali informasi-informasi islami, dan informasi yang ditangkap oleh panca indera ini (meski tidak semua) harus dimaknai sebagai sesuatu yang memiliki nilai guna bagi kehidupan keberagamaan baik secara individu maupun dalam ranah sosial. Beragam pemikiran dalam masyarakat menjadikan dinamisnya cara berfikir masyarakat sendiri, dimana dari perbedaan itu memunculkan informasi yang berbeda pula. Dalam pendekatan psikologi, Informasi Islam yang pada umumnya menyentuh akal dan qalb seseorang, yang bermuara pada dataran ketakwaan, keimanan, ibadah dan muamalah. Hal ini lah yang kemudian berpengaruh terhadap perilaku dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

The theme of this article is the role of librarians in disruption era. This study uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The informants from this study were librarians from all elements who visited and were met at IAIN Saaltiga. Informant was taken randomly. Data collection is done using interviews and documents. The problem of this research is the strategy to development that threatens to shift the role of librarians. The results of this study are that librarians are required to map their developments, weaknesses, and develop the skills needed according to development. The reliability of the librarian is an advanced point of professionalism which is then oriented to the ability to maintain self quality. Competency is the ability in terms of Listening, Informatin acceptance, Public relations, Social relationships, Time management, Interpersonal, and Communication skills.

Abstract

Abstract This writing takes the theme of the online learning process which is motivated by the Covid-19 pandemic situation by taking one of a series of learning processes, namely the learning evaluation process, where learning does not take place normally as usual. This results in changes in the delivery of information within the scope of learning which must be adapted to situations that cannot have a face-to-face, cannot gather in one room, and cannot interact directly with each other, but material information must continue with complete learning targets ). Therefore, this research is interesting to do because it aims to reveal patterns of information flows in learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. This research took a research locus at MI Ma'arif Mangunsari, Salatiga City. Informants taken in this study were teachers, school principals and parents of students who were taken randomly. The results of this study indicate that first, the implementation of Mangunsari online learning in Salatiga City runs well without significant obstacles due to good planning in terms of teacher competence, materials, facilities and parental involvement, as well as the accuracy of selecting the facilities and infrastructure used in online learning. Second, the process of information flow in online learning forms a triangular pattern between teacher parents and students with the flow of information from teacher to parent through online media, parents to students offline, students to parents, then parents to teachers.  Abstrak Penulisan ini mengambil tema proses pembelajaran online yang dilatar belakangi oleh situasi pandemi Covid-19 dengan mengambil salah satu rangkaian proses pembelajaran yaitu proses evaluasi pembelajaran, dimana pembelajaran tidak berlangsung normal seperti biasanya. Hal ini mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan penyampaian informasi dalam ruang lingkup pembelajaran yang harus disesuaikan dengan situasi tidak dapat bertatap muka, tidak dapat berkumpul dalam satu ruangan, dan tidak dapat saling berinteraksi secara langsung, namun informasi materi harus dilanjutkan dengan menyelesaikan target pembelajaran). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menarik untuk dilakukan karena bertujuan untuk mengungkap pola arus informasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pada saat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Penelitian ini mengambil lokus penelitian di  MI Ma’arif Mangunsari Kota Salatiga. Informan yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah guru, kepala sekolah dan orang tua siswa yang diambil secara acak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertama, pelaksanaan pembelajaran online Mangunsari di Kota Salatiga berjalan dengan baik tanpa kendala yang berarti dikarenakan perencanaan yang baik dari segi kompetensi guru, materi, fasilitas dan keterlibatan orang tua, serta ketepatan pemilihan fasilitas dan infrastruktur yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran online. Kedua, proses arus informasi dalam pembelajaran online membentuk pola segitiga antara orang tua guru dan siswa dengan arus informasi dari guru ke orang tua melalui media online, orang tua ke siswa secara offline, siswa ke orang tua, kemudian orang tua ke guru.

Abstract

Library is not only a space for displaying books, but there are many important values within. The paradigm of library has been shifted from books oriented into user oriented meaning library is as sources of information. Besides that, library plays its roles as an institution of cultural heritage conservators in maintaining cultural values, and revitalizing the tradition. In this technology era, this article tries to explain the interesting phenomena in the libraries of the State Institute for Islamic Studies (PTKIN) in Indonesia concerning the history of the emergence and development of such novel traditions including Online Research Skill (ORS) and Writing Skill (RS).

Abstract

This research takes the theme of the problems of librarians in producing written works. The purpose of this research is to describe the competence of librarians in writing in the present era, and to reveal the problems faced by librarians in producing written works, seen from the supporting factors as well as from the librarian barrier factors in writing.  Qualitative research is kind of the research used in this research, with a phenomenological approach. Interviews, observation and documentation as a data collection method. This study took informants from librarian elements who were then referred to as research subjects from IAIN Kudus and UIN Walisongo Semarang as research locus. The results of this study are that the writing competence of PTKIN librarians has penetrated the world of publications both in print and virtual, both the carrying capacity of writing competencies depends on cultural and structural support capacity and librarian obstacles in writing are plagiarism concerns, lack of reading activity, difficulty determining topics, laziness, lack of mastered references, and low credit numbers.

Abstract

Writing is like speaking verbally in that it requires ethics in producing to delivering. Therefore, this article deliberately raises the theme of Islamic ethics in the context of writing. The purpose of this writing is that in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as information managers, librarians maintain ethics anywhere and in any context, including in writing activities. This study used a qualitative research type, with data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. Interviews were carried out by purposive sampling to librarians who were active in producing papers at PTKIN in Central Java which had been indexed on Google Scholar. The results of the study inform that Islamic ethics which play a role as moral regulation in this writing activity are the prophetic characteristics of the Prophet, namely sidiq which means honest, amanah which means trustworthy, fathonah which means wise, patient, and tabligh which means having good critical power and can deliver. Librarians as human resources in an organization occupy a strategic position in determining the success of an organization. The development of science and technology provides its own challenges for HR (Librarians) to always adapt to survive and develop to become one of the keys to achieving the goals of an organization. Islamic ethics like this are expected to be well internalized into the souls of librarians who incidentally will always be related to information and the world of librarianship.
