Abstract

ABSTRACK Background : Online games are modern games that are in great demand by teenagers. Teenagers often play online games with excessive intensity, which is more than 2 hours or 2 times a day. In adolescence, emotional intelligence must also be formed properly through the way teenagers recognize and manage emotions. Research objective: to determine the relationship between the intensity of playing online games with the emotional intelligence of adolescents at Citra Bangsa Christian Junior High School Kupang. Research Methods: quantitative research with a correlation analytic research design with a cross sectional design The research sample amounted to 150 respondents who were selected by proportion sampling technique. Research results: the results obtained Value 0.467 with a value of = 0.05 then > which means there is no significant relationship between the intensity of playing online games with the emotional intelligence of teenagers Citra Bangsa Kupang Christian Middle School. Conclusion: teenagers who have a high intensity of playing online games do not guarantee that they will have low emotional intelligence or vice versa teenagers who have low intensity of playing online games do not guarantee that they will have good emotional intelligence. Abstract

Period of pregnancy is a period, that is very prone to health problem, both the health of the mother and thr fetus, so that during pregnancy it is neressary to check regularly in order to avoid distractions as early as possible, from anything that endangers the health of the mother an the fetus she is carrying.Antenatal Care (ANC) is a form of screening, health of problems in mother and fetus. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the utilization Pasir Panjang Puskesmas, Kupang. The study design used was a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. Sampel of 58 respondents of pregnant women who are in the Pasir Panjang Puskesmas, Kupang from January until August 2020. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Dara analysis using the chi square test at the level of significance a=0,05. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge, husband’s support and the use of antenatal care and there is no relationship between age and distance. Researchers suggest that pregnant woman can play an active role in utilizing health service property so that they can reduce maternal and child mortality Key words: Antenatal Care, age, knowledge, distance, facilities husband’s support.

Abstract

Background: Behavior is a response to stimuli or stimuli in the tangible form that can be observed directly through activities that are a form of real action or someone’s actions. The factor’s that influence mother’s behavior in preventing diarrhea in toddles are vulnerability perception, perception of seriousness, perception of benefits and obstacles, cues or instructions from others and maternal behavior in preventing diarrhea in infants. The purpose of this study was to find out how the description of perceptions and prevention behavior associated with diarrhea in infants in the children’s room kefamenanu Regional General Hospital. Method: the type of research is quantitative with survey research design. The sample of the study was 92 mothers whose toddlers suffered from diarrhea with a purposive sampling technique. The results of the research point:the respondents had a vulnerability perception as much as 96,7 % (89 peoples), seriousness perception as much as 75,0% (69 peoples), Perception of benefits as much as 94,6% (87 peoples), perception of obstacles as much as 100% (92 peoples), instructions perception as much as 72,8% (67 peoples), Mothers behavior category as much as 72,8% (67 peoples). Conclusion:89 (96,7%) respondentshad the perception that children under five were susceptible to diarrhea. 69 (75,0%) respondentshad the perception that the diarrhea that happened to the children were serious effect. 87 (94,6%) respondents have the perception that good prevention behavior from mothers has benefits in preventing diarrhea in infants.All respondents had a good perception of maternal behavior related to diarrhea prevention in infant..as many as 67 (72,8%) respondents have a good relationship with family members related to the prevention of diarrhea in infants. As many as 89 (96,7%) respondentshave a good behavior to prevention of diarrhea in infants. Keywords: Diarrhea, Perception Picture, Mother Behavior

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the big problems in the elderly (elderly) because it is often found and is a major factor in the occurrence of heart problems and coronary heart disease which is very dangerous. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between adherence to taking hypertension medication with recurrence rates in elderly people with hypertension at the Oesapa Health Center, Kupang City. The research method used is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study were 97 elderly in Oesapa Community Health Center Kupang City who were selected using inclusion criteria and using purposive sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire. The results showed that of the 31 respondents who had adherence to taking medication in the non-adherent category with a recurrence rate of 1 person (1.0%) and in the relapse category as many as 30 people (30.9%). Meanwhile, of the 66 respondents who had adherence to taking medication in the obedient category there were 64 people (66.0%) with a recurrence rate in the relapse category of 2 people (2.1%), the results of further statistical tests obtained p value = 0.000 ( at α <0.05) which means that there is a significant relationship between adherence to taking hypertension medication with the recurrence rate. It is hoped that elderly patients who have a history of hypertension continue to take medication so that blood pressure does not increase and there are recurrences and complications that continue and it is hoped that the family or employees will take medication to remain active so that the elderly can control blood pressure.
