Purba, A.P.S., Aryani, D., Malini, H.  2021. Hydroponic vegetables supply during Covid-19 Pandemic in Palembang City: affecting factors and the elasticity. In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-9 Tahun 2021, Palembang 20 Oktober 2021. pp. 465-475. Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Pakcoy is one of vegetables that are widely cultivated hydroponically which does not require a large area and can be done in the yard of the house. Pakcoy has many benefits so that it can increase the body's immunity, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic that is happening in the world today. The high demand for hydroponic pakcoy during the Covid-19 pandemic is an opportunity for producers or business actors to increase the supply of this vegetable. The purpose of this study was to calculate the income level of hydroponic pakcoy farmers, to analyze the factors that influence supply and knowing the elasticity of hydroponic pakcoy to price and income in Palembang City during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data collection method used an online questionnaire. The data tabulation method used multiple linear regression. The results showed that the average income of hydroponic pakcoy farmers is. 841.862,43 IDR /month which was relatively low. Income and land area partially affected the supply of hydroponic pakcoy positively, while price partially had no effect on the supply. The elasticity of supply to price is Perfectly In-Elastic and the elasticity of supply to income is In-Elastic. The supply of hydroponic pakcoy vegetables from business actors in the city of Palembang is sufficient to keep up with the high demand.

The method used in this research is the Case Study method, the data processing method used is EFE and IFE analysis. This analysis is a systematic identification of various factors in order to maximize strengths and opportunities but simultaneously minimize weaknesses and threats. The score obtained from the matrix (IFE) is 3.50 and the score (EFE) is 3.153, thus what is the position of the business in cell 1 of the Internal External (IE) matrix which means Growth and build. The suggested strategy under these conditions is an intensive strategy (market penetration, market development and product development).

Alamsyah et al, 2019. Performance of the Field Agriculture Intructors (PPL) and the Relationship to Farming  Income in Banyuasin District. pp. 313-321. The performance of extension workers in this study was by the level of satisfaction of farmers who received agricultural extension services. This research was carried out in Banyuasin Regency. This reasearch aimed was to analyze performance of the field agriculture intructors (PPL) and the relationship to farming  income in Banyuasin District.  Primary and secondary data collection is carried out in May to July 2018. Implementation of activities includes collection of secondary data and primary data. The sample withdrawal method is done with a simple random sampling method. The results showed that the performance of PPL in Banyuasin District had a score of 22.48 which means that the performance of PPL was good enough, PPl performance was seen from 4 indicators, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. Planning has a score of 5.43 which means that it is not good, when the farmer makes his farming plan for the next planting season PPL does not accompany the farmer, so that the farmers lack guidance in planning their farming, the implementation score has a score of 8.48 which means the performance of the instructor Field agriculture is quite good, because during the growing season PPL visits farmers and provides guidance, and for evaluation indicators that is equal to 8.58, which means that the performance of PPL in conducting supervision and evaluation of farmer farming is good enough. Abstract

Riswani R, Yunita Y, Malini H, Naufal AMM. 2019. Comparison of business characteristics and income of environmentally and traditionally rubber farmers in Musi Banyuasin Regency. In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal 2019, Palembang 4-5 September 2019. pp. 318-324. Palembang: Unsri Press. Rubber commodities in South Sumatra, even though they have been cultivated with land area that tends to be larger than other provinces, but have not been balanced with production and quality, which is still low, due to the methods of exploitation and processing that are not yet ideal and have no environmental impact. It makes the prices and market demand fluctuate with a downward trend. The purposes of this research were to describe the comparability of environmentally rubber farmer and traditional rubber farmer, then followed by an analysis of the factors that influence them so that recommendations for improvements must be made. The research was using  survey method with two gruops of respondent, so that primary and secondary data were obtained, which were processed using structured tabulations, calculated using mathematical formulas and tested with statistical tools. The results showed that there were differences in the use of production inputs and processing of Bokar products by rubber farmers who are environmentally sound and who are still traditionally trying to have an impact on the differences in prices received and income obtained significantly. From the results of the factors testing that influence the income showed that only the selling price factor has a significant effect on farmer income, while the selling price tends to be linier with the quality of production, so improving production quality is a priority solution in an effort to increase the farmer income. Keywords: income farmer, quality, rubber

Abstract

Yolanda SM, Lifianthi L, Malini H.  2021. Analysis of marketing efficiency of palm oil farmer in Sidomulyo village, Kumbang Water district, Banyuasin regency. In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimalke-9 Tahun 2021, Palembang 20 Oktober 2021. pp. 911-923.  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI). The objectives of this study were, 1) Knowing the marketing channels for independent smallholders of oil palm in Sidomulyo, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency, 2) Calculating marketing margins, farmer shares and marketing efficiency of oil palm Fresh Bauh (FFB) for independent smallholders in Sidomulyo, Air District. Kumbang, Banyuasin Regency. The location was determined deliberately. Data collection in this study was conducted in November. The data collected are primary data and secondary data. The data collection method uses the Snowball Sampling method. The research method used is a survey method. The results of the research that have been carried out can be concluded, 1) There are two marketing channels in Sidomulyo Village, Banyuasin District, namely channel 1 covering, farmers-merchant collectors-big traders-palm oil factories, and, 2 marketing channels covering, farmers-largescale- palm oil mill, 2) Marketing channel 1 has a marketing margin of 500 IDR/kg, farmer share of 64.2% and an efficiency figure of 17.85%, which means that it is efficient because the number shows less than 50 %, as well as marketing channel 2 with a marketing margin of 300 IDR/kg, farmer share 78.5% and efficiency value 10.71% indicate that marketing channel 2 is efficient, because the smaller the percentage of marketing efficiency, the more efficient the marketing channel. It can be concluded that marketing channel 2 is more efficient than marketing channel 1 which is the results in lower efficiency values because the total marketing costs are not high and the marketing channel 2 is shorter than marketing channel 1.
