Abstract

This research wants to describe the ritual processing of Perang Obor at Tegalsambi Jepara, Central Java, both of local wisdom tradition and the characteristic of Islam Nusantara. In this study uses anthropological approach to know how a faith illustrated in ritualism of Perang Obor especially to streghten traditional ties among individuals. The steps of Perang Obor ritual they are, such as pilgrimage to danyang (ancestors) numbering seven, parading The Pedang Gendir Gambang Sari and Padang Sari heirloom, a statue, and bedug which is trusted as a heritage of Sunan Kalijaga to kebayan Tegalsambi. The last step ia puppet performance. Perang Obo Ritual ia a colaboration between religion and ancestral culture's. The local wisdom worth appears as a shape of Islam Nusantara in Indonesia. The values as though a symbolic of honouring to ancestros, tollerantion and emphaty to others (peranh abor's actors), and solidarity to Mbah Gemblong postering. The values depicts an indigenious.Keyword: Islam Nusantara, Local Wisdom, Perang Obor, Tegal­sambiTulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang prosesi tradisi Perang Obor di Desa Tegalsambi Jepara, dan mengetahui tentang nilai-nilai ke­arifan lokal dalam tradisi tersebut Perang Obor di Desa Tegalsambi Jepa­ra sebagai karakteristik Islam Nusantara, dengan pendekatan antro­pologi, maka mendapatkan gambaran tentang kepercayaan dan khususnya ritus memperkuat ikatan-ikatan sosial tradisional di antara individu-individu. Ritual Perang Obor mempunyai beberapa prosesi, seperti ziarah ke Danyang yang berjumlah tujuh, mengarak pusaka, yaitu Pedang Gendir Gambang Sari dan Podang Sari, sebuah arca, serta sebuah bedug yang dipercaya sebagai warisan Sunan Kalijaga kepada kebayan Tegalsambi. Prosesi diakhiri dengan pagelaran wayang kulit. Ritual perang obor mem­beri warna sebagai kolaborasi antara agama dan budaya nenek moyang, nilai-nilai kearifan lokal muncul sebagai bentuk Islam Nusantara yang ada di Indonesia. Nilai-nilai tersebut antara lain, sebagai bentuk penghor­matan terhadap nenek moyang (danyang), toleransi dan empati terhadap sesama (pemain perang obor), kesetiakawanan sesama penerus Mbah Gem­blong. Abstract

This study attempts to reveal the elite concept from Antonio Gramsci's thought which supports elite studies in an Islamic perspective, by using library research methods. The elite according to Gramsci is a social category that is not related to class but related to hegemony. Hegemony is a winning power that is obtained through a consensus mechanism rather than through violence or oppression of other social classes. The regime spreads hegemonic power of influence because it is supported by related infrastructure organizations, namely in which intellectual obedience is supposed to occur due to cultural and political factors. This is where elites emerge which are categorized into two according to Gramsci, namely organic elites (politicians, bureaucrats, academics) and traditional elites (subject to authorities). Elites in Islam bring consequences or impacts by showing the importance of elite positions in the orderliness of civilization, the urgency of elite cadre formation in order to strengthen faith and belief as well as faith. This is important to do because of the vital role played by the elite for the advancement of society around them. Therefore, the religious elite, the religious elite, now have an obligation to participate in realizing national unity and are responsible for maintaining national resilience in its various aspects (ideological, political, economic, and socio-cultural)

Abstract

AbstractThis study reveals two things, firstly the significance of religiosity and the secondly, the form of religiosity according to Bidikmisi STAIN Kudus students. This research was conducted on STAIN Kudus students who received Bidikmisi scholarships, using a sociology approach. Bidikmisi students are students who have specialties in two fields, namely academic potential and Spiritual potential. In Academic potential, they have to compete with thousands of students, be preferred from the middle to lower classes. This is supported by good and satisfying academic abilities through tests conducted by the Ministry of Religion through STAIN Kudus. Spiritual potential, bidikmisi students get the opportunity to "appreciate" the STAIN Kudus mosque through religious activities. This activity affects their religiosity because it has a religious nuance. These activities include barzanji, ngaji kitab, maulid diba'an, yasinan and tahlil, qira’ah, and memorization of juz ‘amma. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dua hal yang berkenaan tentang makna keberagamaan mahasiswa bidikmisi STAIN Kudus Tahun Anggaran 2014 dan bentuk keberagamaan tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah field research, yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan di lapangan atau medan terjadinya gejala-gejala dengan menggunakan dua pendekatan, yaitu pendekatan etik emik. Dalam pendekatan emik, mahasiswa memberikan makna sesuai apa yang dirasa, dilihat, dibayangkan dan difikirkan tentang keberagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberagamaan mahasiswa bidikmisi mempunyai makna yang berbeda sesuai dengan pengalaman dan lingkungan sosial budaya di lingkungan mereka. Mahasiswa bidikmisi merupakan mahasiswa yang mempunyai keistimewaan dalam dua bidang, yaitu bidang akademik dan bidang keagamaan. Potensi akademik bersaing dengan ribuan mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan predikat mahasiswa berprestasi. Mahasiswa tersebut merupakan mahasiswa yang secara ekonomi dari kalangan menengah ke bawah, sehingga mereka berjuang untuk mendapatkan predikat sebagai mahasiswa. Hal ini didukung oleh kemampuan akademik yang bagus dan memuaskan melalui tes yang diselenggarakan oleh Kemenag Pusat melalui STAIN Kudus. Potensi rohaniah, mahasiswa bidikmisi mendapatkan kesempatan untuk “memakmurkan” Masjid STAIN Kudus melalui kegiatan keagamaan. Memakmurkan masjid inilah yang mempengaruhi keberagamaan mahasiswa bidikmisi. Kegiatan ini yang mempengaruhi peningkatan keberagamaan mereka karena bernuansa agamis. Kegiatan tersebut antara lain barzanji, ngaji kitab, maulid diba’an, yasinan dan tahlil, qira’ah, dan hafalan juz ‘amma.
