Abstract

This research aims to review the factors that encourage conscious discipline among employees at the Medan Adventist Hospital. A total of 100 employees as respondents indicated their feelings at work which were assessed through Job Training, Work Motivation, Work Rewards and Work Discipline in their work environment at Medan Adventist Hospital. With an instrument of 35statements that will be answered according to the conditions of each employee. So, through multiple linear regression testing, results were found using the t test of = 3.873 > 1.649 with a significance of 0.00 > 0.05 on job training, so it was stated that Job Training had an effect but not significant on work discipline, t was = 0.828 > 1.649 with a significance of 0.410 > 0.05 on Work Motivation, it is stated that Work Motivation has a significant effect on work discipline, and t = 2.400 > 1.649 with a significance of 0.018 > 0.05 on Work Rewards, then it is stated that Work Rewards has a significant effect on work discipline. Abstract

Sasaran dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki bagaimana nilai perusahaan di sektor kesehatan akan berubah diantara tahun 2018 dan 2021 yang dipengaruhi rasio utang, struktur modal dan profitabilitas. Sampel sebanyak 68 terdiri dari 17 bisnis dan data penelitian selama 4 tahun. Time series dan cross section digabungkan dalam pendekatan data. Pendekatan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda yang memanfaatkan program PSPP, keduanya digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan temuan analisis, DAR berefek negatif dan signifikan terhadap PER, sedangkan DER berefek positif dan signifikan. Sementara PER memiliki efek secara negatif dan tidak signifikan oleh ROE.

Abstract

The aim of conducting research is to find out the effect of profitability with fiscal loss compensation on tax avoidance of manufacturing companies in the metal & similar sub-sectors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2021 period. It was determined through the purposive sampling method that there were around 36 samples from 17 selected companies. Using data in statistical form through the SPSS 25 application. The research results obtained are profitability and fiscal loss compensation have a simultaneous impact on tax evasion. The partial test obtains a significant effect on profitability, while compensation for fiscal losses does not have a significant effect on tax evasion.

Abstract

Teacher’s performance is the main key of school organization’s success. As the key, teachers’ genuineness is highlighted to be the most demanding of the school operations. They are actors, patrons, front liner workers, and models for the future. It shows that the role of teachers is the center of school operations. In the same situations, school operations are affected by school culture and quality management practices that enhance the teachers to do their duties properly. Teachers’ performances are tied to the culture and total quality management practices of the schools. The purpose of this research is to elaborate the relationships between implementation of total quality management practices, organizational culture and teacher’s performance. The research results indicate that there is a strong relationship between total quality management practices and teacher’s performance. Also there is a moderate relationship between organizational culture and teacher’s performance. While the relationship between total quality management and oganizationa culture is moderate relationship. Both total quality management practices and organizational culture positively and significantly affect teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how satisfied the students are in learning during pandemic season more specific to whether going hybrid or full-online learning with teachers’ performance as intervening variable. This research is Descriptive Quantitative where the primary data being collected from the answer of questionnaire responded by total of 388 respondents. This study covers middle schools in Balikpapan. Sampling data taken from grade 7, 8, and 9 junior high school. Descriptive analysis, t-test as partial test and path analysis being used to find exact numerical data by processing it on SPSS 26 version. The result of this study shows that the levels of full-online and hybrid teaching-learning, teacher’s performance, and student’s learning satisfaction are in “good level”. The effect of full-online, hybrid learning significantly affecting teacher’s performance, and full- online, hybrid learning, and teacher’s performance partially affecting student’s learning satisfaction significantly. Path analysis for X1 to Z through Y shows that Total effect is greater than direct effect while indirect effect is smaller. Path analysis for X2 to Z through Y shows that total effect is greater than direct effect while indirect effect is smaller. This study is surely beneficial to the school where this study is conducted and also the educators by giving the overview about how the teaching-learning has impacted both teachers and students during this pandemic era. It’s also given opportunity to learn from, to improve technique in giving the best learning experiences to the students’ satisfaction. The result of this study may show which is the best choice for the educational practice in the future
