Abstract

Batik craft is a livelihood for batik craftsmen in Pandak Bantul Yogyakarta. The pandemic situation has hampered batik production, in the midst of these challenges batik craftsmen must train their skills to support quality or products and raise their motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of skills, motivation, and education on the productivity of batik craftsmen in Pandak Bantul Yogyakarta. The study used a quantitative approach with a sample size of 70 craftsmen who were determined using accidental sampling. Data were taken using a questionnaire survey and processed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings state that skills, motivation, and education have a positive and significant effect on productivity. Leaders can encourage employee productivity through these antecedents.
