Abstract

In the context of transportation, the passenger loyalty is a measurement of the level of passenger’s willingness to use a similar public transport. The goal of this study is to examines and identifies factors that influencing passenger loyalty. Three factors such as satisfaction, service value, services quality was predicted as an influential factor towards passengers’ loyalty. The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) for Sungai Buloh to Kajang (SBK) line in Kuala Lumpur conurbation was used as a case study and 555 respondents have contributed to this study. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to investigate the relationship between service quality, service value, passenger satisfaction and passenger loyalty. Satisfaction has the most significant influence on passenger loyalty. Service value has direct and positive effects on passenger loyalty. This study also found the service quality has significant indirect effect on the passenger loyalty via service value and passenger satisfaction. The structural model for investigating the loyalty of MRT-SBK users to this service has been analysed and tested using the service quality, satisfaction and quality value showed 75% positive change for all variables. These models recorded average errors and absolute index evaluation in accepted criteria of ≤ 0.09 and ≥ 0.94 respectively. The study reveals that MRT-SBK passengers’ loyalty is significantly influenced by service attributes, such as vehicle safety, convenience, punctuality, comfort, cleanliness of the facility provided. This study helps MRT service provider to optimize resource to enhance user’s satisfaction and therefore, increase the passenger loyalty

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is determined by the quality of services and services desired, so that quality becomes a top priority for transportation providers. In Jambi City, the mass transportation that has now been implemented is the Trans Siginjai Bus. Trans Siginjai buses are operated to reduce the use of private vehicles. So that the operation of the Trans Siginjai Bus is required to be able to provide quality service. In order to anticipate user dissatisfaction regarding the services and facilities of the Trans Siginjai Bus, an analysis is needed to determine user satisfaction about the services and facilities provided by the Trans Siginjai Bus. The data obtained is then processed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The data obtained is then processed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results can be concluded that users will be satisfied with the performance and service of the Trans Siginjai Bus if the manager improves the performance of several factors such as the physical condition of the placement of the Trans Siginjai bus stop, arrivals and departures must be on time, and the service and friendliness of the driver and management of the Trans Siginjai Bus must be improved.

Abstract

In the context development of building materials geopolymer concrete is an environmentally technology. The goal of the study identifies and examines geopolymer concrete becoming  alternative to portland cement (PC) as a construction material section is utilized as one of the local plantation industry waste such as oil palm ash. Polymerzation process performed the oil palm ash as precursor that contains high silicate calcium with Na2SiO3 and NaOH as alkali activator. Mix design is carried out by ratio of alkali activator 2,0. 1,5 and  1,0  at a concentration of NaOH 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 M at temperature 90°C for 24 hours. The method used is the separate mixtures with extra water and mixed methods directly without extra water. The result show that the higher concentration of NaOH solution, the compressive strength is increased at level of 12,4 Mpa=8,4 M for the mortar with extra water and 20,2 Mpa= 16 M without extra water at ratio of 1,5 alkaline activators. The ratio mixture of alkali activator 1,0and 2,0 would produce a low compressive strength. Microstructure result shows that matrix is formed more solid at each increase in the concentration of Na OH solution. The ratio of Alkali activator 1,5 causing precursors and alkaline activators to react homogeneously so that the formed geopolymer matrix becomes more solid
