Abstract

The Sophistication of digital media provides how easy to access about information in almost all aspects of society. The leap of technological sophistication is too rapid makes the negative impact of digital media increasingly disguised. This community service aims to improve the understanding of housewives regarding the negative impact of digital media on children. Using the adult approach method, this service activity actually looks for cases from within the community itself, and guides the community to find solutions to problems from themselves. At the end of the activity, it was known that housewives in the Demen, Pakem, Sleman area had knowledge of the negative impact of digital media on children, but awareness of its long-term impact still became homeworks not only for the mothers themselves, but also the other stakeholders.

Abstract

People with disabilities are still a vulnerable and marginalized group in society because of each individual's limitations. On the other hand, they also have sufficient knowledge and skills. The humanistic psychological approach to humanizing humans is the basis that can minimize negative issues that hit the group by using Activity Interaction Sentiment Theory. In collecting the data, this research uses qualitative descriptive by interviewing the founders of the Difabike fleet, drivers, and local officials to triangulate the data. This study shows that stakeholders are still struggling with stagnant development and focus on skills training without ongoing assistance. Seeing this, the founder of the Difabike fleet took the initiative to improve group dynamics for people with physical disabilities. The difabike fleet applies a family pattern where the founder embraces its members to provide actualization to empower them and develop their potential.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPelatihan jejaring media sosial untuk memperkuat brand desa adalah pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan menambah pengetahuan mengenai penggunaan media sosial. Desa Nitiprayan memiliki potensi untuk menjadi desa wisata yang memiliki nilai khas Daerah Istimewa Yogyakara sebagai Kota Pelajar dan Budaya. Namun, sebagai desa yang telah memiliki brand sebagai “Kampung Seni”, Selama ini, potensi – potensi wisata yang ada di daerah ini masih bergerak secara parsial sehingga wisatawan kurang mendapatkan informasi sehingga berimplikasi pada brand desa yang kurang kuat. Pemberian pemahaman mengenai media sosial sebagai media promosi dan media komunitas adalah upaya suntikan pengetahuan agar media sosial Nitiprayan lebih tertata. Secara khusus pengabdian ini menargetkan anak muda Desa Nitiprayan sebagai generasi milenial yang lebih dekat dengan media sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode pendetakan orang dewasa, dimana diskusi, observasi dan pratek menjadi hal yang utama. Metode ini dirasa akan lebih efektif menilik anak muda lebih energik dan dinamis.
