Abstract

The splendor or collapse of a nation depends on the nation's education. Santri are expected to have a good personality through religious teaching. Religious education seeks to shape human excellence and lead to a worldly attitude to God and future happiness. This study uses a qualitative methodology as a descriptive analysis research. Philosophical and pedagogical approaches are applied to understand the topic of study more fully. Content analysis technique is data analysis used in this research. The transformation of education in Islamic boarding schools can be traced through integrating Islamic education and other fields of science, revolutionizing and reforming teaching and learning activities in Islamic education by bringing the noble values of Islam into real life, reformulating learning materials in Islamic education, and transforming and internalizing Islamic education.

Abstract

The learning educates pupils that the key predictors of academic success are educational concepts and learning theories. Learning is a double process of communication: the teacher as an educator teaches while students teach. This is a qualitative type of research. Qualitative research is an investigation process which produces descriptive data of people and observed conduct in written or spoken terms. An interdisciplinary strategy is applied in this study, integrating management, pedagogy, sociology and psychology techniques. Two types of data sources are used in this study: Primary data. Primary information. Primary data are collected in field research from informants who, in this case, are professors of Islamic Religious Education directly. Research and analytical results show that: 1) there have been difference between students who follow the co-operative method of learning and students who follow the conventional method of learning; 2) there has been no difference between students with introverted personality type and students with extraverted personality.

Abstract

Keberadaan globalisasi menyebabkan perkembangan yang cukup pesat di berbagai sisi, termasuk pendidikan. Tak ketinggalan, pendidikan Islam merupakan salah satu bidang yang cukup berkembang di negara Indonesia karena keberadaan globalisasi. Namun kemunculan globalisasi ini juga memberikan adanya tantangan dan kesempatan baru bagi perkembangan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk melihat mengenai bagaimana perkembangan pendidikan Islam di selama masa globalisasi. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi pustaka. Data yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari berbagai hasil penelitian dan studi terdahulu yang masih relevan. Hasil dari penelitian ini kemudian menemukan bahwa keberadaan globalisasi setidaknya ditemukan berbagai tantangan dalam faktor budaya, modal sosial yang rendah, sumber daya yang masih belum memadai dan juga tantangan struktural. Namun Pendidikan Islam di era globalisasi memberikan beberapa kontribusi, seperti pembentukan individual yang berkarakter dan spiritual.
